  1. The defense still played well. Holding Miami to 16 points for most of the game. It was the offense that hurt this team.
  2. Once they a down a couple of scores, you can continue to run the ball. At some point you need quick scores to get back into the game. A heavy run offense only works if you can get a lead. If you have to play catch up this team is built to pass the ball
  3. I agree with this take. While he will spend money to win, he doesn't seem to do whatever it takes either. A good example is the Sabres. A team that has lots of cap space but never spends it. As well as since COVID all the cuts he's done to the Sabres staff with cutting scouts.
  4. I had the Bills winning yesterday. Yesterday showed this team shouldn't be favored over anyone. They are not a Super Bowl caliber team.
  5. This is the rest of the post. "Unfortunately, however, there is a hump that the Bills cannot get over and to naively think that the Beane/McDermott duo will get them over that hump after beating the same drum year over year with a quarterback that might be the most gifted the NFL has ever seen has begun to sour the greatest fan base in sports—Bills Mafia. I don’t have the answer, but watching this team come out unprepared and uninspired against a division rival that is obviously in sell mode, IN a season that was supposed to be THE season (we’ve been saying that for four years now) has finally turned me off of McBeane. The Bills will likely get hot again and make a run only to get out-schemed, out-played and outcoached in January—wash, rinse, repeat. At what point do we blow it all up and salvage the remaining 6-7 seasons we have with #17? I’m numb to it all at this point." It says a lot when the guy who's one of the biggest homers for the Bills is saying this now.
  6. I'm surprised that public patience for McDermott isn't wearing thin. While Beane has built this roster, I've always heard McDermott plays a part of that too.
  7. I never said anything about the Bills in my post.
  8. Add the Patriots to that list as well. I know many here hate it but Robert Kraft cares about winning.
  9. I agree with you. I saw a video the other day that said the same thing. I will say some owners are willing to spend to win. The Eagles owner comes to mind. Look at all the void years on a lot their contracts.
  10. No it's more like this Coach and GM have wasted the best QB this team has had in 30 years
  11. The Bills are going undefeated and getting the number 1 seed. 🙄 The Patriots are likely winning the division as they have an easy schedule the rest of the way. The Bills have at least 3 more losses. Losses to Tampa, one of Houston or Pittsburgh and the Eagles. While the Bills are better than what they showed in their 2 losses they aren't as good as what those 2 wins showed.
  12. Results in the regular season are great. Many want to see a Super Bowl championship before Allen retires.
  13. That's fair. My point still stands that for the most part outside 2 games, the 2nd half they struggle to put up points. IMO a lot of that is due to how the offense is constructed. This offense needs more explosiveness and they refuse to do it.
  14. Sure the stats say that. A lot those numbers come from the Baltimore game and the Carolina game. Outside of those 2 games, they struggles to get to 7 points 3 of those games and 3 only managed 17.
  15. Yes but watching them play compared to other teams there is a difference. While the Bills do score, they still struggle in the 2nd half most of the games this season. They do well on both scripted drives of each half and seem to stall quite often after that.
  16. IMO it's not Brady at all. This is the type of offense McDermott has wanted for years. The short passes keep turnovers low and eats clock. While the league may be heading that way, right now the top teams have high powered offenses that can score in bunches. Look at Indy, Tampa, Detroit, Seattle New England and the Rams.
  17. The problem is you can apply that same logic against the Bills the following week.
  18. Injuries are all the more reason to add to some help at the trade deadline. The AFC is wide open this year. Why not spend some draft picks and add a WR or some DL help. IMO there is too much focus on the future with this fan base. A lot of that is due to the drought years.
  19. Sure they were closer to the Super Bowl last season. In terms of winning it, the 13 second game season, talent wise they were much closer. IMO had they made the Super Bowl last year, th result would have been the same. Eagles win big.
  20. The Bills had a good game. Outside of the Chiefs game and the Panthers game, the defense hasn't been good. The offense had 1 good half against the Chiefs
  21. They could catch lightning on a bottle like the Bengals did a few years ago and win a Super Bowl. This mindset of not willing to sacrifice the future to win now. This whole thought of "if everything goes our way and we are lucky and win a Super Bowl great". I don't want to go back to the drought years so make sure you don't trade that 3rd or 4th round pick to help this team now.
  22. I'd add Mayfield to the 3rd spot. Since 2023 he's 2nd in TDs with 82 and 2nd in passing yards and 6th in passer rating. He beats Allen in all 3 of those categories.
  23. Those same Bucs can do the same to the Bills the following week.
  24. I do realize that. It also was the best Bills team they have had with Allen.
