I have no problem with this list OTHER than Sully and Schopp. Sully was a cantankerous hack and Schopp is a pompous ass. Do you remember when Schopp's show was "sports for smart people"? Well I DO. He comes off as condescending and a know-it-all and it is unbecoming and lazy radio. I also liked Felser and Kelley. They were critical BUT with a purpose.

Lol you read what I wrote and you added your bias. The paper no longer found his writing style to be prosperous THUS they demoted him. IF more found his writing "stellar" and profitable.... he would STILL be at the BN.

Does his employer's demotion of him considered "a clear and concise of the example " of his lack of prosperous writing style?

May I ask you a serious non troll BUT truly serious question? Why do you think there is so much "aversion" to Sully? I am assuming you are a reasonable and intelligent person. Do you think that people are piling on Jerry for fun? OR might there be along term justification for all this (pretty universal) angst?

Well.. I agree. I don't need a pollyannish approach either. Both constant pessimism AND optimism gets old.

It can be. I get in odd moods. I enjoy games at the stadium at home and in a bar. I really love going to a few away games. I feel going to an away game, hanging out with out of town Bills fans and rooting against he masses can be a blast.

Problem is... with a name like yours one has to be secretly rooting against someone to be proven correct. Agree or not, IF Allen is successful THEN your name and assumption about Allen's bust potential will make you look like a fool. Most humans don't like to seem like a fool and be publicly wrong - thus you're rooting against him. Moreover, you will have a tendency to see ANYTHING good that Allen does as luck or "anyone can do that" sort of minimization. Furthermore, anything normal or neutral will be twisted into a negative. Finally, you have pushed "all in" that he will be a bust and therefore you have a LOT to lose being publicly wrong. Like I said... have a nice day.
