  1. This game has that stench of a classic Bills debacle and I won't be surprised at all if the Bills find a way to lose and lose ugly no matter who the QB is.
  2. Despite KC letting Dorsey go, he did yeoman's work in KC and built a hell of a roster there. Certainly a more proven commodity than Beane and I would take him over Beane in Buffalo in a heartbeat. No way the Browns are passing on a QB this year with the #1 overall pick and they have a lot of picks to work with and get that team heading in the right direction. This is why I still think all the talk about us trading up and taking a franchise QB is a fantasy because all the top ones will be long gone before any team is willing to deal with us.
  3. I hope that's the case but McD already seems in over his head so who knows.
  4. I wasn't sure about St Doug early on, but after 2014 it was clear to me this guy was the best HC we had during the drought. A true young Bill Parcells type and he wanted no part of the Pegula clown show. Wasn't a big fan of Nate Hackett either but he's proven to be a very good OC in hindsight and is doing great work with St. Doug in Jax. Going to really suck watching these guys get to the playoffs this year and likely make a run. But at least the Dareus pick turns into a 5th rounder so there's something.
  5. Unfortunately I also believe Dennison will be back next year because he can use Taylor as a scapegoat as to why the offense was horrible and very limited in the passing game. But don't be surprised if he's Greg Roman'd early in the 2018 season once McD and Beane start to feel the heat and need their own scapegoats.
  6. If the Bills had McNown or Jay Cutler they probably would be in a more favorable spot right now, probably at least 7-5 maybe 8-4. But for whatever reason McD was adamant about sticking with Tyrod Taylor when Whaley wanted him gone. But I think it's pretty clear he realizes that mistake now and why he's trying to ensure Peterman gets back into the lineup this weekend by being more stealth about the situation. E
  7. A lot of this is being lost in Jax this year, sure Marrone has turned around the defense quickly. But he's also salvaged Blake Bortles career and made him look serviceable, if not very good at times, this season. Regardless give St. Doug credit for calling out the Pegula Clownshow right away and wanting no part of this franchise any longer. Fans will continue to bash him for 'quitting' on the Bills but in hindsight he made the right move even if he was forced to be an assistant a few years before getting a HC gig again.
  8. Didn't say it was his fault, but Hoodie and Pats are always watching for bulletin board material. Just wait until you see what happens against the Steelers in a few weeks after Tomlin's recent comments.
  9. Sad thing about this is the Giants are in a Colts situation just like when Peyton Manning missed the entire season and the Colts landed the #1 overall pick to get Andrew Luck. Giants are going to be able to land Rosen or Darnold and likely have a very quick turnaround and be right back in the playoffs as soon as next year. Meanwhile the Bills will end up trading a bunch of picks out of desperation to land the 4th or 5th best QB in the draft that might be another Losman or Manuel.
  10. Say what you want about Hoodie, but his apology speaks volumes and normally he wouldn't do something like that. Still wish White wouldn't have made the comments he did before the game though because he was subliminally targeted for that.
  11. I agree that the Pegulas are a joke and could care less about what they've done for the area in terms of business investments. They are terrible sports owners and are going to suck the Bills further down the NFL abyss and rival the Sabres who are hands down the worst team in the NHL. But as for KW, hard to say he's a disgrace just because he didn't retaliate for that stupid play. And we all know this is his last season, at least with Buffalo so no need to tarnish it with something like that. Bottom line with this entire team though is they are soft, including Eric Wood and I'm perplexed why this new regime already did an extension with him because like most holdover veterans he needs to go.
  12. And all three of them are likely on their way to the playoffs, hope Pegula Sports and Entertainment is paying close attention.
  13. And two or three years from now we'll likely be seeing headlines that both McD and Beane are fired. NFL is a harsh business, keep in mind the Giants just made the playoffs last year with MaAdo too and have won multiple SB's in the last 10 years under Jerry Reese. Just goes to show what a high standard some organizations have compared to the Bills.
  14. If Trey White is out that's a major blow but not sure how many more games we win no matter who is starting at QB. Dolphins exploded yesterday with Cutler back and Kenyon Drake having a huge game on the ground so that doesn't bode well for the bills and I've always felt they were probably going to sweep the Bills this year anyway. I think maybe we beat the Colts and that's it.
  15. Yes but he shouldn't have stayed there and certainly should not have been released so we didn't even get the right to keep him if the Pats tried to sign him. Watch this guy go on to be a perennial probowler because it's simply the Buffalo Bills way.
  16. The Bills are bad to below average this year especially when you consider the teams we've beat. And don't rule out the Falcons finishing 8-8 or worst since they are the only team currenlty above .500 we won against but still think that was fluky at best simply because they were without their entire starting WR lineup most of the game. Either way I'm sick and tired of this team flirty with mediocrity year after year instead of simply going 2-14 or 3-13 so we can at least have a shot a true elite, game changing talent that even the most average GM's luck into when they draft that high.
  17. Exactly. And ironically the only guy he may have whiffed on that he took from us is Gillesslie who we certainly needed over the likes of Tolbert this year. But honestly I think it's simply a case of MG not being better than Burkheart and Lewis. Just sick and tired of the bills being a farm league for the Pats and the rest of the NFL.
  18. This is the dilemma though...if the next Jim Kelly is in next year's draft why would a team that also needs a QB let us have him? Everybody seems to think we can just throw around tons of draft picks and move up to get who we want but most teams out there aren't going to make the mistake of hoarding draft picks and trading with us. Especially an equally desperate team like the Browns who have hoarding draft picks recently and are still the worst team in the league. This is why I fear we have 6 wins too many this year even if we don't win another team and truly try to tank the rest of the way.
  19. I get what your saying but I still don't think the gap was that large between TT and NP even early in the season. TT is a very limited, gimmick based QB that is always going to be a liability even on a team led by a true elite defense. And that's why we won early in the season, because of defense not QB play. So hopefully he gets that chance elsewhere next year but I still think he'll be benched fairly quickly even on a new team should he be the starter early in the season. The book is simply out on how to defend him and exploit his weaknesses. Regardless it's NP time and even if he plays lights out the rest of the way there's a good chance the starting QB in 2018 isn't on the roster yet.
  20. Not keeping this guy raises serious red flags in terms of McD/Beane's ability to evaluate players. Because no way we couldn't find room for this guy on the 53 man roster considering how bad the defense has been of late.
  21. At this point I just want to see him start the rest of the year before forming a serious opinion going forward. And yes despite my username and avatar I'm sure some fans will find that hard to believe, but that's the reality at this point. He might end up sucking, being great or somewhere in between but no way does the Chargers game define him for a multitude of reasons. Either way at this point we know 100% Taylor isn't the answer and shouldn't see the field again unless NP gets hurt.
  22. I've always wanted the playoffs but was smart enough to know it wasn't happening this year even after the latest mirage of a hot start to the season.
  23. No they don't, and that's why no Bills fans should truly be disappointed today losing yet again to the greatest HC/QB in NFL history. Pats are going to do the same thing in a few weeks in Pittsburgh that they did today just watch. In fact they'll be looking to send a bigger message there given the team in question.
  24. If you're not a blind TT fan can't imagine how any Bills fan could say this about a 5th rounder rookie that's barely played and quite frankly probably not truly ready to play to begin with. But good to know we are officially writing off another QB in Buffalo. And I still caution anybody who thinks just because we have a ton of draft picks we are going to draft one high next year or if he'll even be the right guy to begin with. Just a friendly reminder, this is the Buffalo Bills and everything they touch turns to crap.
  25. There's simply no point of starting Taylor again this year no matter how bad NP might possibly look in the process. And if certain players don't like it time to bench or cut them to send a message because that's how you truly change a culture. And quite frankly most of the likely candidates that would complain about TT being benched again are also likely playing their final games in Buffalo including McCoy.
