  1. Sorry but communicating via 'emoticon' with usernames like 'Gimmedat' is simply a clown show and most educated well spoken folks are tired of it. I know I am.
  2. I'm not being serious, but no doubt somebody is going to accuse the Patriots of cheating or being behind this especially if the Eagles get blown out on Sunday: http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/02/01/illness-making-its-way-around-the-eagles-locker-room/
  3. Nothing racist about my comment, in fact going further this applies to most younger kids nowadays. Too much time playing on phones, texting, etc....the live human interaction element has been lost. Just sick and tired of all the ghetto slang and incoherent babble. If you are being paid millions of dollars to play football shouldn't be that hard to learn how to speak coherent English.
  4. Agreed but in all seriousness, at this point it's a safer bet to stick with NP given his upside and his pretty similar to Luck in some ways. In fact for all the talk about NP's arm strength that was the only minor concern with Luck coming out of college and he's done just fine in the NFL.
  5. Honestly I've never understood the hype surrounding Luck. He's not terrible but he's certainly not lived up to the lofty expectations that he was a 'once every 15 - 20 year' type of QB prospect coming out of college. Granted he's played on some crap teams in Indy so far in his career but I still wouldn't consider him an elite franchise QB.
  6. I saw this earlier too, obviously the difference between teams like the Pats and Eagles analytics operations is they have the right people in place and know what they are doing.
  7. Not sure why Rodak or anybody would waste time trying to decipher this gangsta jibberish on social media. Good thing these guys excel at football or they'd be lucky to get a job flipping burgers with such horrendous grammar and communication skills.
  8. It's not happening and never even considered based on what I know. Also do you think McDaniels would leave NE for a team without a franchise QB? He's not stupid especially after what happened in Denver with Tebowmania.
  9. We won't break the bank for Gaines and he's likely going to ask for top money given his metrics (when he was healthy that is).
  10. For a 5th round pick that probably shouldn't have seen the field last year, NP's body of work is impressive especially the Colts game. And remember, despite all the armchair GM's on there that claim he's terrible, not going to be on the team this year, etc....there is a reason why '2 time probowl' QB TT was benched for NP and that's because of the realization he's the better player even if it backfired initially. Also same reason why NP is likely going to be the guy by default heading into training camp unless a miracle happens and we land Sam Darnold. Getting back on topic though, Kyle Lauletta also impresses me a lot and I'd love to take a flyer on him if he's still on the board in the 4th round when we pick.
  11. Nothing wrong or weird about being a great father. I kiss my son every day.
  12. Nothing wrong with that throw other than one of the best players in the NFL made a play and we all know the INT was not clean and should have been overturned. Quite frankly most NP critics don't understand that his throws have so much velocity and accuracy our WR's simply weren't used it because TT never looked their way much and when he did made wildly inaccurate throws.
  13. He's a true gunslinger and quite frankly USC had somewhat of a down year because of constantly being depleted of talent year after year in the NFL draft. I would love to land Sam Darnold and unless the Browns are completely retarded and inept the guy they have been waiting for to turn their pathetic franchise around has fallen right into their laps.
  14. It's reckless for a former NFL coach to make misleading statements like this and proves he's out of touch with reality.
  15. Glenn is going to be released or traded, regardless there is no place for him on this roster with Dawkin's emergence.
  16. Not sure why so many folks have such an unhealthy obsession over arm strength like it's an unfixable, fatal flaw in this league. People need to focus on the true intangibles like grit, leadership, accuracy, pocket awareness, etc. This is what truly separates these prospects. And if Lauletta is a poor man's NP that's probably a good thing considering that NP was a steal in the 5th round mostly because of the same misguided arm strength concerns.
  17. I think he could go as high as the 2nd which is where they drafted Jimmy G..... Regardless if it's true the Pats love Lauletta I'd be all over him because if there is one position Hoodie truly knows it's QB which is why his giant ego truly believe he's going to continue to have same type of success after Brady's gone.
  18. From a raw talent standpoint Allen has it all which is why he will likely be drafted very high. Personally I have a 2nd round grade on him but still think he's too much of a true 'boom/bust' guy that is going to need the perfect organization and support structure around him for any chance of him to not turning into another Losman or Manuel type of player.
  19. I have done some under the radar reporting on Lauletta recently, but his stock is rising after holding his own among the 'elite' prospects at the senior bowl last week. And as one source of mine stated: "In this league it's not about the size of the (college) program you come from, it's what you do when you get here' Personally I have a 5th round grade on him, but don't be surprised if a shrewd team (i.e. the patriots) take him much higher. In fact I've been hearing whispers that Lauletta is in fact high on the NE radar and these are the exact type of guys Belichick has found success with in years past like Jimmy G also coming out of a lesser college program. Not saying the Bills should pounce because Lauletta is certainly a developmental prospect and nowhere ready to be a starter, but if we are looking for another option to sit a few years and learn behind NP it would be a smart choice and we could find ourselves in a situation with two legit NFL starters a few years from now.
  20. According to sources I trust it's not going to happen, the only guy they would make a move for if it's the right deal is Darnold so no need to be too concerned. No way this team reaches for another Losman or Manuel. Also with the pressure of making the playoffs off their backs, this regime can sit back and keep the picks they've stockpiled and stay true to their draft board which is why I expect a stud DT taken with one of the 1st rounders. WR, DE, LB obviously in play too with the other 1st.
  21. There are always going to be varying degrees of opinions with top QB prospects like this. But my sources out west (specifically those dialed in to USC) insist Darnold's floor is Phillip Rivers, and if that's the case he's obviously a true blue chip prospect because if PR is worst case it's scary to think what the ceiling is. This is also why it's my understanding the Bills (and probably many other teams) have him #1 on their draft board or near the very top. It would be great to land him but likely a pipe dream for us because no way the Browns are passing on him twice with their two top 5 picks. At the end of the day you need to truly suck to have a chance at a generational talent like this the Bills obviously didn't last year.
  22. It's pretty clear this is still a QB driven league and teams are desperate for any semblance of 'franchise QB' play. But in the end I still think the Redskins gave up way too much for a guy whose career body of work screams average at best and more of the quintessential 'system' QB vs a true franchise type of player. This is why there is also hope that Beane is on the phone right now trying to get decent value for Taylor and fool another team into thinking he's a quality NFL starter.
  23. I like Arians as a coach but he's clueless about this draft class. Sources I trust pretty much believe it's a two man show between Darnold and Rosen, with the rest of the class being the same old story we've seen in recent yaers with a lot of overhyped boom or bust type of guys (i.e. Mayfield, Allen, etc) that will teams will reach for in the 1st round or might not be drafted until round 3 or later. Don't get me wrong though, there are certainly some potential steals and sleepers like Nathan Peterman, especially a guy like Tanner Lee who many scouts and GM's are already enamored with given he has all the prototypical NFL QB traits these guys covet.
  24. Yes but my most well connected ones are out west since I used to work in the Pac 10 organization (now Pac 12).
  25. Browns are truly a pathetic organization from top to bottom. Maybe we can package TT and Cordy Glenn to them for the 1st or 4th overall pick if they are truly this stupid. Being dead serious by the way....
