If this is true we won't win another game this season. But even with NP not sure we are beating the Dolphins even once anyway, they are a much better team with a better coaching staff.
-
Miami looks really good tonight, dare I say good enough to actually beat the Pats. I still think it's funny that so many posters here think 2 easy wins are coming against this team. We'll be lucky to split with the Dolphins and I still think it's more plausible they sweep the Bills than us sweeping them. Also (and I'm sure most fans know this) but to beat the Pats you need a QB that can make plays downfield like Jay Cutler has done tonight which is why Peterman should be starting the final 3 games no matter what.
-
The point is that we needed to go for the win, on our home field against a pathetic 3 win team regardless of the weather. And no matter what anybody says a tie would have been the same as a loss given the teams we are chasing right now in the wildcard picture.

Hate ever rooting for the Pats but...
SaviorPeterman replied to ProcessTheTrust's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They are 5-7 and will be very much alive if they can upset the pats. And with the Bills twice and the Chiefs left on the schedule I certainly wouldn't rule them out running the table because that's how weird this season has been. Remember this same Dolphins team was left for dead last year after a 1-4 start and they finish 9-2 en route the playoffs. -
He was also quoted today saying he had no idea about wild card tie breakers and how it works. Look I really wanted to like this guy but he truly does seem like a Dick Jaraun clone with a little more signs of life instead of acting and speaking like a corpse.

To be honest I'm not sure we can beat the Dolphins no matter who is starting at QB. Despite losing a few weeks ago in NE, thier defense roughed up Brady good and created a lot of problems. If they do the same tonight at home and upset the Pats in the process it's not going to be a good omen for the Bills. Regardless the Bills have continued to struggle big time against division teams this year and sweeping the Dolphins is asking way too much considering the downward spiral this team has been in since the 5-2 start.

Shady McCoy: If You Ball You get the Call
SaviorPeterman replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just think if we had a real QB and passing game to compliment McCoy. And with this likely being his last season in Buffalo it's too bad we wasted it paired up with TT. -
Travaris Cadet for RB2 (update - dislocated ankle)
SaviorPeterman replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If it wasn't for the fumble yesterday Tolbert actually had a meaningful impact, however I'm still baffled as to why Dennison insists on running a North/South downhill back like him to outside over and over again. -
DC Frazier Announces Matt Milano as Starting WLB
SaviorPeterman replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Milano is a true throwback player, bloodied gauze in the nose and all. He was running all over the field in blizzard like conditions with no under layer beneath his jersey. Hopefully he has a bright future with the Bills and isn't playing for the Patriots in 3 years. -
So does anyone BELIEVE we will make the Playoffs?
SaviorPeterman replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the Dolphins beat the Pats tonight (without dirty hit Gronkowski suspended) don't be surprised if they run the table and make the playoffs. It could happen and I'm petrified of going up against Gase and the Dolphins twice in three weeks after what Hoodie and Todd Bowles did to this team. Gase is a very bright mind and McD still seems in over his head. -
Peterman - Bad Passes vs. Catchable Passes
SaviorPeterman replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If NP didn't leave the game in the 3rd quarter doubt it would have come down to overtime and needing a miracle to win the game. We all need to embrace NP as the starter the rest of this season and beyond. Because I still think chances are slim we going to land a blue chip QB in next years draft. We very well may draft another one but won't be until 2nd rounder or later to compete with NP. -
Peterman - Bad Passes vs. Catchable Passes
SaviorPeterman replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Have you watched the Chargers play recently, did you see what they also did to Dak Prescott and Kirk Cousins (both QB's most Bills fans would take in a heatbeat) All I'm saying is that in hindsight his debut may not be so bad although and this kid was a gamer yesterday in some of the worst conditions any NFL game has ever been played in. -
So does anyone BELIEVE we will make the Playoffs?
SaviorPeterman replied to BigDingus's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I still don't think we make the playoffs or even get to 9-7 because sweeping the Fish is a pipe dream. Won't be surprised if they end our season in spectacular fashion this week to because Gase is a better coach than McD and their defense is also much better across the board. -
We certainly got lucky but the reality is we probably should be talking about losing to a terrible 3 win team at home who plays inside a dome half the season and has one of the worse (lame duck) head coaches in the league. I had a feeling all week it was going to be a typical Bills Nov/Dec home game and we'd find a way to give the game away and lose. And it seems McD did his best to lose the game as opposed to win it. Regardless this team needs to play much better if we are going to be the Dolphins who I still think are the better team right now.

Peterman - Bad Passes vs. Catchable Passes
SaviorPeterman replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For all the talk of NP having a 'weak arm', all he seems to do is launch rockets which is why all our WR and TE seem to drop so many perfectly throw passes because they simply aren't used to it given TT's inaccuracy and not looking their direction. This is why the only remote chance this team has of making the playoffs is sticking with NP the rest of the season if he's healthy and available. -

Dolphins season is essentially on the line tonight. If they win that means the game in Buffalo is high stakes for both teams to stay alive for the playoffs. Dolphins lose and they are simply playing spoiler next week and the rest of the way. Either way this game against the Dolphins looms LARGE and concerns me deeply given the fact the Bills simply don't fair well against division teams. But yes as much as it sucks to say this, go patriots! -
I will be shocked if the Chargers don't win this game given how they are firing on all cylinders right now and Rivers might be playing the best ball of his entire career. But KC likely has a little confidence back after snapping a long losing streak and beating another bad team in the Raiders yesterday. Realistically though this could be the most important game of the season for the Bills given the tie breaker situation and against the AFC West.
-
This game against the Fish has me very concerned. They probably aren't winning tonight against the Pats on MNF, but we have struggled mightily against division teams and there has to be major red flags after barely beating a dome team at home yesterday. Especially one that is terrible and playing out the stretch with a lame duck head coach.
-
If the Ravens did blow a game down the stretch it will likely be this week at Cleveland who has been playing very well and eager to avoid the dreaded 0-16 record. Could see it happening especially since it's another division game and Baltimore might not be all there mentally after blowing a big lead and giving up 500 passing yards against the Steelers.
-
Dolphins certainly aren't having the type of season that many expected this year but there are still a very talented team across the board with one of the better up and coming coaches in the league. And regardless who plays QB for the Bills this week I'm not sure we can win this game especially given the Bills horrendous record against division opponents. Either way the idea we are going to sweep in them in the span of 3 weeks is not realistic if you've watched the Bills play the last few months.
-
I'll preface this by saying I still don't believe the Bills are getting to the playoffs this year even if they win every game but the Pats and finish 9-7. Anything is possible but I still think terrible losses to teams like the Bengals and Jets are what ultimately will haunt this team, not the Chargers game contrary to popular belief because we weren't beating that team with TT as QB either. But if you believe 9-7 gets them in forget about the Ravens, they are winning out and going 10-6. This is a very good team that probably should have won in Pitt last night. However the team to focus on now is the Titans who should have been blown out by the Cardinals yesterday in a loss. And as of right now Vegas has the 3-10 49ers as home favorites against the Titans next week which is very reasonable given their play the last few weeks under Jimmy Garropolo. After next week the Titans finish at home against the Rams and Jags, two more games they can easily lose and probably split those games at best. How ironic would it be if the Titans lose out or lose to the Bills head to head and that's how the Bills get into the Playoffs snapping a 17 year drought in which their last playoff appearance was against the same Titans team?

Top QBs in the NFL on 3rd down
SaviorPeterman replied to Foreigner's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This x100 Also all those other QB's on the list (including McCown) don't have leagues worst passing offense or anywhere close to it like Buffalo.
