Really good early season test for this team. Tonight should tell us a lot more about what we have this year than playing Arizona at home week 1 did. Let's go 1-0 this week and head into the mini bye. Today is going to go by so slow.

That was a part of it. But there was also terrible tackle attempts and guys not staying in their lanes and blown assignments. Undisciplined play led to that return. And that's a problem we have seen on ST for years now.

I'm going with Davis on offense. With Cook being used a bit last week and Johnson nursing an injury, Davis may be a good bet for a set of fresh legs. I think he pounds in a TD or 2. Defensively, I'm going to say Ed Oliver shows up this week.

This is the same coach that pressed Mayfield to play injured and then ran him outta town for Watson when Baker's production dipped when he shouldn't have been on the field in the first place. Stefanski is horrible at running his team. Good with play calling/design, though. I'll give him that.

I know a lot of people had concerns over the teams leadership and the amount of leaders we lost in the off-season. A lot was mad of Morse, Hyde, Poyer, Diggs, Davis ect all being former captains and all leaving at the same time. Week 1, coming from 2 TDs behind to turn it around on both sides of the ball and winning shows that the leadership and team culture are still fully intact.

I 100% guarantee you that if we didn't have Josh Allen, there would have been a sizable portion of this fan base yelling to trade for Watson when he was available. They would have done the same mental gymnastics as Browns fans. Bought the same amount of Watson jerseys. They would have celebrated giving him that same idiotic contract.

Which tells me the Bills will run a ton of jet sweeps, off tackle runs an pass the ball 40 times against the Jets.

Yeah, between Saleh and Daboll the odds are the first coach fired this year currently resides in New Jersey, one way or the other.

If I'm game planning for the Jets, I script up a LOT of looks for Cook/Davis. Much like the Dallas game from last year where we just ran it down their throats. Jets are one of the only teams that holds Josh in check fairly well. It may just be the rare occasion where less Allen/more run is the key to winning.

I had this game as a loss when the schedule came out...but I think the Bills pull it off anyway and easily at that. I think they find a way to keep Hill relatively quiet. Achane is my big worry. The guy is explosive. I'm interested to see what kind of a difference the familiarity between Jordan Poyer and the Bills offense makes in this one. I'm sure with all the practice time logged they both know how to exploit tendencies on each other. However, aside from Shakir, our whole WR room is different than anyone Poyer practiced against in Buffalo. Bills-27 Dolphins-13

Not only did I read the snap counts, I'm able to comprehend what I'm seeing and understand the context. I'm not so sure you are doing the same. There's a huge difference between guys getting a series or two off and coming out for a few snaps during a long sustained drive and a "DL Rotation". Typically, where there's a true rotation happening your top guys are seeing snap counts in the 55-60% range. There's also sub packages where the player grouping is determined by the down and distance. DL is very down and distance dependant as well. You have guys that are better/worse at one aspect that may see snaps or see them come out based off that. But that's NOT what a "dl rotation" is. Comparing snap counts of DL to DBs is comparing apples to basketballs.

They would have to take Trubiski back as well.

You always tell us these thoughts are in no particular order...and then you number them which places them in a VERY particular order. Madness. But great job as usual. A few things tho... I believe we should have an update on TJ in a few hours after McD speaks to media. The DL rotation was pretty unrealized yesterday. Look at the snap counts for Oliver, Groot ect and you'll see our starting DL played a rather high percentage. They have really moved away from the rotation over the last couple years. Kincaid was likely the #1 focus of the Cards defense yesterday. With no target monster (Diggs) it allows defenders to focus on him. Shakir and Coleman benefit. In a few weeks when teams say "hey we need to stop these WRs", Kincaid will eat plenty.

Then Eminem is the more popular play. Much bigger in Detroit than Kid Rock. If they want a halftime show that is entertaining and full of energy...the ONLY choice is Weird Al.
