We have Dave Culley. While not experienced with QBs, he does have Andy Reid's seal of approval . Culley has a lot to prove.

With the way Beanie took a passive approach to FA QBs, I have to believe Allen will have every chance to start. I think it comes down to 2 things. 1. How good is AJ? 2. Can we get at least close to the same production and results from Allen? If the 2 players are close...go with the rookie. Let him learn by doing.

Lots of people said the same thing about Wentz his rookie year. Not calling Allen Wentz (though some have made the comparison)...but it's not impossible.

With how rough the start to the season looks on paper, I could see a scenario that has Allen starting by Week 6.

I wish we would have gotten him based on his ability to play football. I love his skillset and his knowledge. But when seeing him respond to his "slip" to 10 he came across as thin skinned. Should be interesting to watch what happens should the Cardinals not have quick success with him under center.

Why draft Josh Allen and not even visit Lamar Jackson? They have pretty much the same warts. Pretty much the same strengths. Only Jackson is more explosive with the ball in his hands and is faster...and Allen has a bigger arm. Just seems odd. Beane said some would be brought in as a smokescreen. I think Allen is one of those guys. Right now we are hearing Allen to Buffalo because...well "Bills". It's a move that this franchise would have done in the past. I think Beane is playing the talking heads a bit and if Darnold doesn't go 1 he will be here. Jmo

There is no way a team that would be interested in drafting him hasn't seen these months ago. If you're going to be giving this kid millions of dollars and be the face of your franchise...checking ALL available social media posts is just basic stuff. Non-issue to the teams.

I can't stand the name Dalton. Dalton was the name of Patrick Swayzey's character in Road House. Road House was great, but it reminds me of Dirty Dancing which reminds me that Jennifer Grey somehow looked better before the nose job with that large nose. Females with large noses remind me of Barbra Streisand. And no one likes that. ??? Don't know why this reminded me of the "altercation" between Jim "Chrissy" Everett and Jim Rome.
