Baker played in a system where he made a lot of easy throws and extended handoffs. Georgia shut him down in the playoff game too when they pressed the corners and forced him to make tight throws. He did make tough throws too though. But he is not the same level of passer is rosen is. I dont care what statistic you throw out.

There is some truth to this. This narrative being pushed that baker is the most accurate qb in the class is bogus. He is not more accurate than rosen. Baker throws a good ball yeah, but his % was def inflated by a lot of screens and quick flares. From what ive watched of allen thus far i dont think hes as innacurate as hes being made out to be

I thought like this at first, and then i started to watch more of him. I dont think the completion percentage is as bad as it seems when you actually watch the throws. If we got him at 12 id absolutely be ok with it. But hes not going to be there either His arm power is just on another level, but he knows how to take rpms off and show touch. A lot of guys with strong arms dont have that

Bpa is always the best way. Though there is a bit of leeway with that. If the bpa and need are neck and neck on the board, you go with need. Man it would be amazing if that 12th pick was a top 5 and we could stand pat and run the draft.
