I think the biggest problem with the change is that its not reviewable. And the league office and refs will absolutely use this to influence and dictate outcomes of games imo. Theyve been doing it for years and giving them more power in any given play makes it even more so imo.

Hopefully after the carolina game allen starts getting reps with the 1's, at least the 2's more often. Foster cant hold onto the ball, and allen had had a bunch of other drops. But obviously hes not going to be the opening day starter so those reps are going to be few and far between right now.

Yeah kellys numbers are a bit pedestrian compared to guys on the list but it was a more balanced league back then. We had thurman thomas, a league mvp, kelly didnt have to throw 50 times every game. Brady is the best of all time unfortunately but these numbers today are a bit inflated too. You cant touch the qb without the laundry being thrown or maul the wr's off the line anymore. You have to remember that and factor it in
