    That was my first guess as well. Maybe he did something late in the year or jax game that made it worse and is calling it quits. We know he has a chronic knee problem and doesnt practice much, and when we signed him the miami drs said around 3 or 4 years is what he had left right? Hes at that point now

    My first guess was clay and his knee is done. Or benjamin. But the wording of the rumor makes it seem like it just happened.

    I hope that is the case but might not be reality if a rookie qb is the starter next year. Just have to keep that in mind

    It def is. Imo there is some truth to what op said though. We need a qb and we dont know what the plan is yet. Shady is going to be 30. There is some real questions here.

    No he actually does make fair points. A good part of this team isnt young. The offense could look vastly different than it did last year. We may have to take a step back now to really go forward

    Darnolds throwing motion scares me to death. Mayfield has that cocky swagger all qood qbs need to have. I dont know how really anyone has darnold over rosen at this point. The guy makes nfl throws routinely, on a rope. Its not really close to me

    Hes still an upper tier rb but i dont think hes quite as elusive as he used to be. But even with that hes still more elusive than mostly everybody else. I wouldnt be shocked at all if he was traded after this year. During this losing streak i was pretty convinced that would be the case too. Either way we need a back after this year

    Yea im just saying the bend dont break philosophy can work if you have a top tier qb that has you in front. Its why the colts got away with it with peyton

    Yes. If we had a real qb that built us leads, then it can work. But id rather have an aggressive 4-3 attacking d back. Jim schwartz come back home

    We were big, physical and talented just a few years ago. Now we are completely soft and as least talented since jauron. Lezlie frasier is a soft coach and this defense has followed suit. I liked marrone and whaley. We were a qb away. Now theres problems basically everywhere. Just angry and disgusted. Dennison is a joke too.

    Taylor was never the answer but everyone going gaga over peterman in the preseason was puzzling to me too. The guy throws dinks and dunks. Just keep him in there now. Mcd made this mess. He can go too...if they dont get the guy in april, all hell is gonna break loose

    Its not even that clear what their plan is. On one hand it seems pretty obvious now that they were surprised we started off so well and pulled it all back to start over, but then why trade for benjamin. This is a disaster
