Here, you had the refs missing two blatant calls late in the game, one of which is supposed to be a “point of emphasis” for the officials! The helmet-first missile into Kamara’s head. Nothing. The clear facemask on Dak. Nothing. It really is killing a lot of the enjoyment of the game, for me at least.

It’s pretty much every game I happen to watch. The NFL officiating, viewed wholly, is a travesty. I’m sure the docs checked him out. Or at least I hope they did.

He’s close-ish to the end, sure. But he can still play at a high level. You can criticize his running style if you want but he is what he’s always been. It was a tough task for the O line today and they didn’t do great; fine. Open up just a little bit more daylight for Shady and he’ll still produce. I personally don’t care about Ivory squeezing out 2-3 more yards on off-tackle runs. Leaning on plays like that isn’t a recipe for success anyways.
