This is true unfortunately. To me it's not a fair comparison. Mahomes has the hardware and Josh ATM is up and coming. Mahomes was picked up by a team with a fully stacked roster and what many consider a brilliant offensive mind. Allen got picked up during a total rebuild and a defensive HC in his second year. I can't say Josh would have become the same player as Mahomes if the roles were switched but he most likely would've developed quicker. Josh should be compared to the likes of Jackson, Mayfield, Darnold, Goff, Murray and Watson. Until Josh wins a ring many if not most will just dismiss the argument. Even if he puts up a good game say 27/36 320 yards 3 TDs 1 INT and loses he will still be the guy who couldn't get it done. Like I said, unfair comparison.

I love the versatility he brings to the defense. It is beyond obvious his coverage skills are elite and fit our scheme to perfection. He's a major contributor when he's on the field. There's the rub. Health is not a predictable asset. There's no guarantee any player doesn't sustain injury after scoring a contract. If Milano had a clear history against injury the decision is a no brainer. But because of his history you can't blame the front office to have pause in offering a long term deal.

Dude, as impressed as we all are with the dynamic passing attack the Bills have you'd have to be pretty naive to think they'll be any sustainable success in the future if they don't establish a competent run game soon. Honestly I'm surprised they've gotten this far. What Allen, Diggs and the offense have done this season is nothing short of remarkable. This is similar to what Baltimore did last year before they got figured out this year. Catch everyone by surprise with unconventional offense. I wouldn't expect the same results next year without a good rush attack. Doesn't have to be elite, just competent.

Great stat! Ravens blitzed an NFL high 46% first 17 games of the season. Only 20% against the Bills on Sunday. And when they did Josh went 6/7 for 57 yards and a TD. Even without a run game you just can't rattle Josh. Best pass blocking O line in the league.
