Realistic Trade Prediction: Levi Wallace
thenorthremembers replied to BillsFanForever19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I wouldnt say he was ever a superstar but he was more than serviceable here for a few years. I think they got a cheaper version of him in the draft in Dane Jackson, as such they let him walk in Free Agency. That said, I think he reached his ceiling here and is struggling in Pittsburgh right now. -
Bills dont need another guy to add to the heap of JAGs who they are trying to make a slot wideout. He's had one good season in five years, and on average isnt as productive as Gabe Davis. For what you'd be on the hook for over two years, plus the draft pick, you're better off trying to bring in Hopkins or Jeudy.

Currently the #23 ranked defense in terms of yards. #8 in points given up. Not sure they should be embarrassed. The injuries to Milano, Jones, and White are all huge blows to the defense.

[Name Only Title] Tyler Bass

Understand that, but he is paid well to kick a ball. Has to make hard kicks, even in the elements. -

He's cost the Bills 9 points in two weeks. Cant go through the season with the kicker losing the team 4.5 points a game. -
When Reggie White signed with the Packers there wasn't a salary cap in the NFL. It was a risk, but not nearly the risk the Von signing was. Salary cap didnt start until White's second year in GB.

Be as sarcastic as you want but he was 33 years old when he was signed to a $120 million dollar contract. You sign a 33 year old guy and dont foresee any injury issues?

Its been my argument about why the Bills dont have more YAC. He hardly gets the ball out on time. He doenst throw with timing. He resets the actual play by scrambling right, waiting for wideouts to get out of there original cut, and turns the play into a scramble drill. I didnt want to believe the report this offseason when it was reported he doesnt watch much film and relies on his athleticism to make plays, but its looks more accurate by the week.

Miller has cost the Bills 2.75 million dollars per sack. Knox has cost 1.8 million dollars per touchdown over the last year. Its an abomination.
-
Not going to find an argument with me there. Find it hard to believe any other team would win as much with a QB who turns the ball over that much. That said, he does need to take what the defense gives him on the ground as well. He is on pace for the lowest rushing attempt total of his career. Its part of what keeps defenses honest against the Bills

Its on the entire organization right now. Not going into the season with a viable second option at WR is unforgivable. The bad moves Beane continues to make are starting to pile up. The Miller signing has been a complete bust. Signing Knox to the extension he got was also terrible in hindsight. Knox and Miller make up over 12% of the Bills total cap space, are you getting that much out of them? Dorsey's play calling is bad. Particularly in the run game. Where are the counters? Where is the I-Formation? Jet Sweeps? Motion in general? To me he seems like a person throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sticks. He has no idea what his offense is, they have no identity. McDermott seems intent on making the Bills into some sort of balanced team, its what he and Daboll seemingly argued about. Something is way off with Josh. Sick of seeing him sitting on the bench pouting. Sick of the turnovers. They are losing as an entire organization right now.
-
I dont disagree. Just wish those werent the options we had to choose from. Beane dropped the ball big time when it comes to receiving options.

Its hardly 12 personnel. Most of the time Kincaid is lining up off the line anyways. The issue isn't the formation. Arguably you have your 4 best pass receivers on the field anyways. What would help is if Dawson Knox remembered how to catch a football.

Watching the Chiefs game. Bills no where near them.

I dont think you can call Allen and Mahomes even. I like Allen a lot, but Mahomes doesnt miss that throw to Diggs today, not on his worst day. -

They most certainly have better players. There is some argument to be made at WR, Edge Rusher, Safety and running back but otherwise they are better at every position.
