  1. Just because you know a few outliers doesn't mean data supports fatherless homes being beneficial to children. Children from fatherless homes are 4 times more likely to grow up in poverty. 71% of high school dropouts come from fatherless homes. Kids from fatherless homes are more likely to engage in criminal activity, abuse alcohol and drugs, have behavioral and mental disorders, and father/mother children outside of wedlock. Yes, some kids are probably better off not having a jerk for a Dad. But if you want to argue any point that kids aren't better off, more well adjusted, and more likely to have high self esteem because they had a Dad in the home, you'll fight a losing battle. Stop speaking in instances and look at the problem as a whole. But what do I know, I am a product of a Fatherless home.
  2. It's cyclical. The women probably never had a proper example of a man in the home growing up so thats what they look for in a mate. Can't stress enough how important having a Father in the home is. Sadly, family values have went out the window and society supports it.
  3. Further proof that money truly is the great equalizer.
  4. Noticed this a ton this year. They are into their kick before the ball is snapped and it's hardly ever called.
  5. I see. I watched last night but wasn't paying much attention because the Saints are incredibly boring. Took a look back at some highlights. I didn't see many instances where I thought the motion man wasn't running parallel to the line of scrimmage however I do see where Nakua seemed to angle his body towards the tackle before the snap. Probably could have called it by the rule. May be something the NFL wants to look at during the off-season because coaches will start to bend the rule if it isn't called consistently.
  6. It's a misnomer. As long as the player is moving laterally and not towards the line of scrimmage when the ball is snapped its completely legal. I use it like crazy when coaching. It creates misdirection and allows your fast players to have momentum rather than sprinting from a dead stop.
  7. Checked out the Colts board to see if they had any inside info. Our thread is 4 pages longer than theirs. We may have problems.
  8. Had to have been a defensive coach. Krumrie, Jerry Gray, and Don Blackmon all had more than average years of service in the NFL. But Krumrie for sure had the longest.
  9. Imagine that they'll expect when the extension really kicks in next year. Each of them could easily ask for a nice house in Orchard Park.
  10. Aside from TO I am not sure I've ever seen a more physical wideout than Megatron but its just too many what ifs to even have the discussion about Rice's records. Even though Johnson didnt exactly play in the most wide open version of the NFL, it had become pretty modernized by the time he was in his prime. Detroit with Stafford were throwing the ball a good 200 times more a year than the 49ers were with Montana and Rice. Not to mention Rice played in a time where defensive backs were allowed to play a lot more physical game. Even when considering Johnson's career if he had played a few more years, you just cant account for the possible injuries. I think it says even more for Rice that he wasnt a genetic freak like Megatron, TO, or Moss.
  11. Given his averages Johnson would have come up 200 receptions, 700 yards, and 39 touchdowns short of all of the records. Also cant imagine a wideout that large would have played until 38, but thats just me. I think Johnson used his natural size and speed to overpower guys, but his hands were pretty average. I think Moss was more naturally gifted.
  12. Personally, I dont see him as one of our guys. I see him as a guy who talks better than he plays football. Without question one of the guys who added to the hit piece on McDermott.
  13. I am glad I can watch this before I go to bed, will help with getting me to sleep.
  14. Hes going to get 11.5 million a year or more next year. With the cap going up, I just think thats where a WR of his ability slots in. And no, I dont want him back for that.
  15. Continue to think the Bills need to win out. Too many variables to deal with otherwise.
  16. I think this year looks good because last year was a little bit of a down year. But overall he's been a hell of a left tackle. On par with this 2020, and 2021 season.
  17. One of my all time favorites. Can tell I am getting old because A. I didn't know they were in town and B. Because the band looks old. Glad it was a good time!
  18. Yeah Chargers players look like they'd rather be doing anything else, anywhere else.
  19. True, dont really need that bump. Was honestly amazed to see we play them at SoFi. Feels like the Bills havent been home at all this year.
  20. My Lord. Please God just let the Bills beat the Cowboys this weekend. Chargers look absolutely awful.
  21. The bigger issue they need to tackle is why a runner who has the ball in his hands automatically has a touchdown once the ball impedes any centimeter of the white line, play dead, touchdown over. Yet a receiver who brings the ball into his hands while in the endzone has to shave his dog, eat three dinners, and send Christmas Cards while he continues to control the ball for it to be considered a score. Runner jumps forward over a pile, ball touches the air where the line would be if it were elevated, defense swats it out of runners hand while in the air, touchdown. Receiver brings the ball into his hands, gets two feet down in the end zone, falls out of bounds, ball moves an inch....not a touchdown.
  22. Speaking more of the design of the jersey, helmet and pants. Makes more sense if they were speaking of the color scheme though. I tend to think of white helmet with the standing buffalo as the classic look though.
  23. The argument wasn't about rape vs a messy house genius it was about speaking in generalities to make a point about specific people. Good thing you used the words "societal influence" to try and come across intelligent though. You seem like a real class act.
