  1. Gabe is Gabe… 2 catches, 6 catches and 1 catch. The inconsistencies are not improving. We need a more reliable player in that #2 spot.
  2. Hardy is just a gadget player, it’s no coincidence they cut McKenzie the day after. They thought they were getting an upgrade but it’s really not looking like it at this point. McKenzie was terrible out of the slot, but he did pretty good for a while on alot of this gadget plays. At this point I don’t think we need to be forcing gadget plays and would like to see more of Shakir and Sherfield. Just seems like we’re always going backwards when Dorsey tries to be cute
  3. Diggs ain’t really a yac guy and Davis ain’t getting yac unless he gets behind defenders. The rest we really ain’t sure about. Seems like they are trying to set up Harty but are unsuccessful. Do teams that get a lot of yac spread the ball around to bunch of different WRs, or is it certain guys get all those yards. Harty, Sherfield and Shakir seem to be the guys who might be able to make an impact there but they aren’t getting many looks and they are all a bit different so it makes it harder to get in rhythm with Allen.
  4. Why we running out of shotgun on third and short
  5. Did he say he thought Josh played good last week despite two throws? But Dan Orlovsky said he was basically a mess. Who should I believe? 🤷🏼‍♂️
  6. Opportunity in more situations outside the redzone. That’s who we are though and it makes it alittle obvious. We done it with Singletary/Gore, Singletary/Moss and Cook/Harris/Murray. He was the short yardage guy they leaned on. It’s harder when teams know what your doing too
  7. Wasn’t Jacobs on the sidelines? Why was he out there trying to pad his stats? Guys that are backups are looking to prove themselves not give some diva a free ride to the endzone.
  8. Most of the nation don’t realize the Phins beat the Bills once since Josh’s rookie year and we had players dropping like flies because heat exhaustion. I think we’re at a point until they do it regularly they can’t be placed higher.
  9. Nothings really changed. Especially not with a win over the Raiders. See how the season ends for me. We could win 12 and have another heart breaking finish in playoffs
  10. It’s funny I was just reading on the Elam inactive thread that we are lucky to have such depth
  11. He might know defense but their is a problem with scouting if guys we draft high never really help us
  12. McD can’t get quality play out of any draft pick. Boogie, Aj and now Elam. Wasting picks. We were lucky Benford stepped up, sadly we had to go pay veterans to rush the passer. Trust the process
  13. Until the WRs prove themselves you can’t say they’re fine. Gabe has proven to be inconsistent, adding someone we know we can rely on would probably helped him.
  14. How about shortly after our proven players left and we started gambling with our WRs outside of Diggs. Beas, Sanders and Brown were all proven, we knew what we’d get out of them and for the most part they were easily trusted. I understand Gabe and McKenzie deserved a shot but it didn’t worked out as expected. You think it would be lesson learned. Then instead of trying to grab guys we know can help we gambled on other guys and doubled down on Gabe. To be honest I’d rather a player who done it consistently before and another late round draft pick on the roster the Sherfield and Harty. Adding a 5’6 WR who might just be a gadget guy seems to be a luxury addition if you don’t have many problems. Kind of like trading for an undersized RB mid season when it’s obvious you need a bruiser.
  15. Last year in December we had to sign two WRs Josh was comfortable with because lack of trust in supporting cast. It was as an unusual situation but it highlighted problems. Beane just never did enough to fix it.
  16. Gabe shows up small almost every week
  17. One game doesn’t determine who you are.
  18. I meant it in a way that we only had 4 suited up on Sundays.
  19. 30% in what situations? We ran 4 WRs most of the year that’s a slim depth chart. He’s gonna see the field doesn’t mean he’s gonna get an equal opportunity to see the ball. We also had problem catching last year and the Giants stole a guy who’s biggest strength in college was his hands. Oddly enough he made an impact while giving an opportunity in NY. Never got that opportunity here because our WR group was deep. Lmfao! Try to explain that to me
  20. Boogie and Aj. You like Cook but he’s up in the air right now and we spent 2 second day picks on Singletary and Moss already. Last year the put full confidence in McKenzie and Gabe to step into bigger rolls and it backfired. McKenzie was so bad he was the first guy cut this year I think. I think what’s worse about the situation is Shakir had a great rookie camp but his roll was limited because this coaching staff would not demote McKenzie. Now Shakir seems to in the doghouse and what looked like a promising player this time last year might eventually be a future wasted pick. Last year when Hyde went down we had a young safety who was on the team 4 years, he was flat out terrible when he got his shot. Jesus Christ, the best olineman we drafted plays for the ***** Browns.
  21. It’s not working here because young players seem to never be ready when their time is called. That’s why we hold onto the aging vets. So something is not going right from Monday to Saturday and coaching staff has to be held accountable if you believe what you say
  22. Nope. started losing faith last year when Hyde went down and Poyer starting missing a little time. Backups were on the roster for a few years and they looked ***** lost on the field. Kind of makes me worry about any young player who’s not seeing the field. Spent a lot of draft picks on that dline and keep bringing in aging players to get the job done. Beane adding guys to the offense that all were unable to hold starting jobs on other teams. He bargain basement shopping hoping to get lucky and it hardly pans out. There is also the fact we are giving a couple guys too much leeway with their job. Davis and Brown are really playing with little consistency but it seems it doesn’t matter. They work hard so that’s enough. It’s just not looking good right now and I said all offseason they didn’t do enough to improve the roster. Gotta be change at some point but for the Bills it looks like it might be all at once. Can’t rely on aging players forever
  23. Deep is all Davis can do. He don’t got the hands to catch balls in closed spaces.
  24. Lol! People want Allen to throw to the shorter routes and want to target Gabe more often. Does Gabe even run short routes?
  25. It’s hard against the Jets because they pressure us without blitzing and are covering more of the field. Add in penalties and the fact we get little from our run game it makes those short routes more unlikely to get the first downs. We ain’t a team that gets much yac. Is that the QB or the play design. I don’t examine every play like some but when I see guys pointing out the underneath players being open in pics, they look like they are standing still with whole body facing the qb. A lot of the times it looks like a defender near by would shut the WR down once caught. That’s why I think Allen looks to his deeper routes a lot, he wants the chains to move.
