  1. And signing an old vet to play ahead of them🤷🏼‍♂️
  2. Saying it for a couple years now, Bills are just treading water with this staff. They are good but they are not making the improvements needed to get the job done. Holding onto some players to long and bringing back other players that were in their decline. Scared to take a step back and a try to take two steps forward in the early future.
  3. Has any team in the history of football recycle players like Beane and McD?
  4. Yikes! We’re *****!
  5. Dane better not be the next guys up
  6. There has also been a number of games we lost down one score and the D wasn’t able to make a stop to get the ball back and the opposing team just ran the clock out.
  7. Really, How about watching Mac Jones walk down the field on us in the last 2 minutes a couple years ago.l? How about the Denver game? What about the Eagles? 13 second? Jesus Christ last year against the Ravens in the playoffs they walked down and scored with ease, it took and Ingram drop to save us. D wasn’t even close to make the play. Turn your blinders off bud.
  8. But how’s it stand up in the playoffs? That’s where you win Championships. D hasn’t been good late in games protecting leads either.
  9. By listening to the interview it just sounds like he’s looking for one of the guys to step up and prove he can be the more consistent player. Not as big of a deal as I thought when first reading the post.
  10. Jesus, seems like they keep bringing guys in but no one else really gets a shot. Didn’t they bring I couple vets last offseason? Thought McD was a DB guru. Keep reading that somewhere
  11. 3 guys made mistakes on the play that all contributed to the long TD. Buffalo Joe probably the most crucial one
  12. Why they gotta bring him in for a visit when they know everything about him? If they want to sign him just go it, no sense making it look like they are doing their homework. Just another guy they let go who failed on another team. Keep bringing them in, it’s definitely a sure way to get to the Superbowl
  13. What’s the back breaking mistake from Sunday night? Yeah he lined up on the WR who caught the TD, he was suppose to have support inside by Buffalo Joe and it wasn’t there. He also had support over top on Hamlin and the he missed the tackle. So how you determined Bishops the one at fault for the back breaking play is crazy.
  14. I totally disagree with you about the film room and it just about knowing the playbook. Players need time to develop on the field and some take longer than others. Some may never get it and some do. The small sample size we have of Bishop isn’t enough. He’s gonna get his shot but you harping on him like he’s the only guy that has missed assignments is laughable. Especially at the safety position where everyone they have plugged in since Poyer and Hyde hasn’t looked like they know the job.
  15. Come on man, Bishop got beat one on one where he was suppose to have help from Buffalo Joe inside. Damar missed the tackle that lead to the TD on the same play. Seems no one wants to point that out. Gotta give Bishop more time on the field. Damar sits back and waits for everything to come to him and still there is a 50\50 chance he misses the play. Bishop attacks the play, that timing takes time to learn and it can’t be done on the bench or the film room. Not saying hes gonna get it but he needs more time on the field as of now.
  16. At this point anyone coming in still needs 11 months to learn the playbook before they can get on the field
  17. I think the scheme can dictate the players aggressiveness.
  18. Yeah we drafted a player and kept him on the bench most of last season for Hamlins below average. Exactly what I’m talking about.
  19. It’s because our D is soft, not sure what else to say. McD has these guys playing on their heels terrified to make big mistakes so they give up a lot of easy plays waiting for the opposing team to make the mistakes. Against better teams they get chewed up, that’s why all our playoff exits look similar. Even the Ravens game, it wasn’t our D that made a play at the end to save the game, Ravens walked down the field with ease to score a TD. Bills got lucky Ingram dropped an easy catch where our D had no one in the vicinity of him to actually break up the play.
  20. It’s the same way we been bounced out of the playoffs year after year. I’m not freaking out but I’m sick and tired of this soft defense. Use to this *****! Who else can we complain to besides the people on this board. McD and Beane are off chasing one or two plays year after year instead of trying something different on D.
  21. So we lose in playoffs with our D playing terrible again. Great!
  22. Hamlin ain’t average. Rather a young guy that don’t know the playbook making his foolish mistakes then waste money on him.
  23. The whole “he knows the system” has done nothing for us but keep average players around to long. Some of us said last year starting Damar over Bishop would only prolong Bishops learning curve. Players learn faster on the field not the film room. Experience matters and when you’re playing guys that aren’t very good with no upside it hurts the team short term and long term.
  24. Hamlin should have never been resigned, same can be said about Dane Jackson. Both not very good and you should be looking to upgrade even if it’s only depth players. They are a liability and always have been.
