  1. Quick takes:

taylor is no more or no less than he ever was. AVERAGE. Won’t win any games but won’t lose any either.

The run run game is in shambles and maddening.

Dennison sucks and needs to find a time machine back to 2001 when his offense wasn’t obsolete.

If the bills play that type of defens they’ll win more than they lose becuz of the protection of the ball Taylor offers.

I honestly think we were just playing a really bad team and I’m still not holding my breath for the rest of the season. Back to reality next week. But I’ll enjoy the next couple days after the win

what if tyrod puts up raiders game numbers in a win vs the chiefs?

They have built in responses that have to do with the team winning in spite of Taylor. It hasn’t mattered how he’s played all year. Minds were made up on Taylor way before the season even started. And there have been a fairly large group of posters all too happy to say I told so now that the team is in a nose dive. Most of which were nowhere to be found around here when the team was winning.

Who is the "crusader" now.? LOL Maybe Tyrod will morph into a superstar and lead the Bills to a Superbowl, LOL. Idiocy is repeating the same action over, and over and over expecting a different outcome.

Idiocy would be using 1 or 2 games as the foundation of one's argument.

How about we look at the bigger picture. One where said qb has won more than he's lost. Im all for moving on from Taylor but you look really foolish in all this. He's not nearly the horrible player you make him out to be. Cherry picking games makes it pretty clear you aren't capable of thinking clearly on the subject.

There is room to say that Taylor doesn’t suck and also to say that he isn’t a long-term answer for a team aspiring to be serious contenders.  It isn’t binary “sucks” or “great”.

i appreciate and recognize Taylor as the best QB that the Bills have had in a long time, but I still don’t think he is good enough to not be looking for an upgrade.  That is not disrespectful to Taylor, just hoping for better.

You would think it would be as simple as this but there are some special characters around here that have a really hard time grasping that concept.

The little trade value Tyrod has should be at a complete zero by seasons end IMO. I will surprised if he finishes the season healthy.

Him sitting on the bench was pumping up his trade value now if he plays like he did the Saints game they won't even get a bag of donuts for him IMO.

fair to say that if we look back at his career numbers and wins/losses, that he most likely wont play that way and using that one game as the foundation of all your arguments lately is sorta foolish.

but whatever. we'll probably lose the game no matter how he plays. the chiefs and the bills both need one another right now. guess we'll see which one can expose the other to a worse degree.

     you  mean "dunce"

I already explained this once.....in this modern era these here computer things we type on have spell check. I knew it was misspelled. it was slangy and I didn't care....... and i'll tell you what I told the other crappy poster. if that's all you have to say to that post then I think we're done here. good talk, friend.

  6. i'm not gonna hold my breath for a win this week. but we do have some things going for us.... the chiefs might be almost as bad as us recently at pressuring the qb. their defensive front has made most Olines look good. their corners are borderline awful outside peters and their offense has gone into a bills like shell. tough game on the road. 2 teams fighting for their lives.... winnable though.

each team could argue that the other team is exactly what they need to get back on track.

Actually its tiring.    My ignore list grows by 1 every week because certain posters only want to be right and not admit they could be wonng.

Some will call me hypocritical, but in trough my stance hasn't changed Tyrod isn't good enough to lead this team by himself.   If Taylor proves me wrong then I am an idiot!!

When he's not a passing QB and the run gets shut down we lose

When he is a QB and truly has a great game we still lose.

    This team sucks,  BBFS.

you kept relatively quiet and didn't rock the boat for the better part of 7 weeks talking about how you were warming up to taylor and now have come in spouting over and over about how you were right all along.... you are EXACTLY that.

you've gone from a fairly rational poster to borderline obnoxious on the subject very quickly.

Keep hedging those bets.       "He's Russell Wilson"

    "he's a top 10 qb"

    "I didn't say he's good" ??????

literally one of the worst posters I've ever seen here. I literally have never said any of those things. in fact I was of the mind set that we should draft a qb at 10 last spring or draft one early in 18 even if taylor plays solid. you're a freaking duntz, dude. and obviously have comprehension issues.

    WOW what?

You legitimately think that Taylor's good?

annnndddd that's the problem with this board.... the minute you think taylor should start you apparently think he's good.

no. the WOW was the fact that while we are still tied for that last seed i'm all for putting the best team out on the field. that does not include Peterman. we still have plenty of ammo with current and future picks to go get a young prospect.

I don't know you, you don't know me.

Not my fault you enjoy poor qb play.

why cant you people grasp the concept that just becuz tyrod should start doesn't mean we think he's a great qb? how is this so hard to wrap your heads around?

  10. 3 minutes ago, joesixpack said:

    We're going to lose.

And then we're going to lose next week. Then hopefully, we rid ourselves of the QB albatross for good.

whats sad is it seems you are almost wishing for the losses just so we are rid of him.

By the way, this is the dumbest thread either. We are supposed to vote on a question that doesn’t even make sense.

AMEN. crappy thread from a crappy poster.

Playing to win THIS season is, was, and always will be the WRONG move.

But again, this is unsurprising. Coaching to keep the rabble happy.

I would argue that was the situation last week. looking at the overwhelming amount of people on this board who voted for the initial change and were ultimately horribly wrong. and also judging by the idiots that I was surrounded by at the saints game that were yelling for Peterman has our offensive line couldn't block for Tolbert on a 3rd and one.

I cant think of more rabbling than that.

If we had a lineman who could hold Bosa for long enough for the fullback and his helmet to get there, we might have had more success in the passing game.

    Whoooooeeeee.

Why are the Chargers 4-6 with that on the roster?  4 games by 3 points or less - Field goal kicker got the Yips or something?

week one their old kicker got on blocked to send it to OT. week 2 he missed a 40 some yarder to win it vs Miami... they could very easily be 6-4 or better.

  13. I was wrong about the defense. all the talk in the offseason about letting the boys up pin their ears back and get after it had me so pumped. at the time on paper it was a talented unit and had proven that philosophy could work in the past. the result has been arguably the worst pass rush in the nfl.

other than that I don't have anything. I had no preconceived notions of how anything else would go I just figured our defense would be solid enough to keep us in games.
