I feel very clean when I talk about about Taylors positives and he his a wonderfully elusive QB. But making an argument that the Bills would have won that game "easily" if Tyrod played because he runs like Shady is not true because Shady is, well, Shady.

when he made the shady comparison it was in regard to the fact that somebody said tyrods style was too elusive to go good in the snow. the guy merely pointed out that shady's hallmark is being elusive.

Haha, his one game he got over 300 the Tyrod faithful point to. Remember that one time? Yes the only game over 300 too bad it took OT to get that one 300 but yes 1 time he looked like a starting QB. Yippy

Padding stats is the norm for Tyrod, look at those Trent Edward stats he is so good, too bad the rest of the team couldnt get the win.SMH

that's seriously all you have to say to that? you just say i'm a taylor homer? are you freaking 12 dude? when Ive said numerous times I want a young qb in here to start.

you call a go ahead td with a min left and then what should have been the go ahead score in OT padding stats..... you really don't get how stupid that is, do u?

  3. 7 minutes ago, xRUSHx said:

Yours claiming Tyrod is the better option is awful. No QB on this team will get us to the playoffs man, deal with it so it doesnt matter who plays. But next season Tyrod should be gone so now is the time to evaluate Peterman and give the guy experence.

To say  Tyrod did well enough in a game we lost proves your ok with him padding stats and not pushing for the win just pad those stats so it looks like everyone else's fault for the loss.

PADDING STATS!!!!!???? he drove them down for the go ahead score with 1 min left!!! then he drives down in 0T for what could have been a game winning FG. and you call that padding stats???? this is another level of STUPID.

390 total yds and 3 tds. gets the go ahead score with a min left. gets them into position for a game winner and you say padding stats??? you seriously are gonna put that game on him??? dude. words cant even describe how absurd that is.

Sorry sometimes I forget I have to be very literal with people

instead of trying to insult people for their "opinion" when they post questioning statements answer the question.

When the D has sucked for nearly 2 1/2  seasons   -- please explain why his best is never good enough?

390 total yds. 3 td. go ahead score with 1 min left. it SHOULD have been enough. period. he played at an elite level that day. and the fact that you can sit there and say otherwise says all I really need to know.

you 2 guys are honestly on another level. its hilarious. I don't even like going to bat for the guy becuz I've been ready to move on since last year. but when people say crap this idiotic I just cant help myself.

  4. 2 minutes ago, xRUSHx said:

IMO people would rather watch a box of corn flakes play then Tyrod now.

I've been fully aware of your opinion for awhile..... while you're entitled to it. its awful.

When Taylor passes for under 100 yards he normally loses

When Taylor passes for over 250 yards he normally loses

    I'm stumped...  care to explain.

so you are saying we lost that game becuz of his play?  it wasnt the defense?

becuz if that's what you are saying then.... just wow.

Yeah - like admitting the guy has had some good games in the past, and made some really good plays.

no. if you support him then you support nothing but 60 yd passing days and sacks and that's all he'll ever give you. DUH.... I've seen 2 people claim webb was better today. MY GOD MAN.

like I said. I've been ready to move on since last offseason but some of what the people say around here is absurd.

  6. Just now, dneveu said:

No... I didn't say that at all.  I said he's got quick feet and a low center of gravity.  Which he does.

I was then told that being quick and elusive doesn't mean anything in the snow.  So I mentioned that ya know... McCoy moved pretty well in the snow as a quick/elusive player.

you're fine... I got what you were saying...... there are serious comprehension issues around here. people are very sensitive about pointing out the few positives in taylors game. makes them feel dirty.

I don't have confidence in either.  Taylor because when he's bad, he's really bad and our offense doesn't do anything.  Nate because too reckless with the football.

How bad is it that I miss Kyle Orton?

eh. I've been over taylor since last year. I wanted Watson or mahomes at #10. but I understand that right now I think he probably gives us a slightly better chance than the rookie.

as for orton? he wouldn't have faired any better in the win/loss column. he had a top 5 behind him that bailed out hacketts vaunted "run, run, pass" offense. in fact I would argue either of taylors years in 15 or 16 paired with that defense would have been an 11 or 12 win team. but its dumb to even bother thinking of that crap.

Peterman makes me hold my breath every time he throws the ball.

Taylor makes me roll my eyes with his very conservative play.

I would like a QB that makes me smile.  I like smiling....do you Stank?

100%. but for now i'll take the one that limits mistakes and at least keeps the ball long enough for our runner to do some damage. people wanna talk about how we wouldn't have won the SD game with either qb. well the one freaking drive where SD wasn't getting ints plops into their laps we actually drove right down and scored a td. so ya, those INT's were huge. I know damn sure one of our qb's wouldn't have been gifting the other team short fields....... the defense has come around a bit. so i'll take the guy I know isn't gonna give the game away and has the ability, when he's actually on point, to play smart efficient ball with the occasional huge play.

I'd like an offensive coordinator who has a bit of creativity too

also agree 100%. dennison is a large part of the problem.

  9. Just now, dneveu said:

Yeah - have to say the guy we need isn't currently on the roster.

this is why I chuckle at the people saying we need to evaluate Peterman. neither guy will be starting next year. this whole play for the future mantra is just coming from people that would say anything to not see taylor play again.

if either is starting for the bills next year we will be in trouble.

I don't get the love for the guy.  He has legit done nothing.  He sucked in preseason, and has sucked every chance he got here except for a 10 play stretch of garbage time.  He threw 5 picks in a HALF.  IN A HALF

until we get a franchise guy the backup will always be the most popular guy..... whats hilarious to me is people trying to downplay the int's and compare tyrods sacks to them.

that being said, I thought Peterman played solid ball in those conditions the other day..... but i'm dreading the thought of him playing in nice weather with a green light to throw the football again.

Saying that Webb hit WR's better than TT is "excessive and false."   I don't think so.  And I'm not the only one who feels that way.  TT can't see over his OL.  It's an issue because Dennison can't design an offense for him.  I see your in the TT fan club, and that's fine, but don't blind yourself to reality.

lol. webb went 2-6 with an AWFUL pick and you spew this garbage. good lord..... and I've said numerous times i'm done with tyrod. I wanted a qb at 10 last year. but this garbage right here says way more about you than it does me.

I say a guy that went 2-6 and had an awful pick isn't as good as taylor and you categorize that as me being in the taylor fan club? dude you're on another level.

  12. 3 minutes ago, RyanC883 said:

You realize it is MUCH HARDER to throw the ball in a blizzard when it is wet and cold, than it is against the Saints?  You realize the throws to Benjamin were not "jump balls" but perfectly placed passes that good QB's throw so that the WR can make a play on the ball.

he did a couple nice things yesterday. but what on earth has he done to show he wont start tossing picks again once the weather is nice and he has a green light?

dude. I don't care who starts. I don't want either qb'ing the bills next year. but how on earth could anyone think that he's earned it after 5 picks in one freaking half and then couple of nicely thrown balls to our towering wr in man coverage yesterday? give me a freaking break.

I still don't think we make the playoffs or even get to 9-7 because sweeping the Fish is a pipe dream.

Won't be surprised if they end our season in spectacular fashion this week to because Gase is a better coach than McD and their defense is also much better across the board.

right.... becuz the fins are so good..... so good, in fact, that earlier in the year you said they would probably beat us with their 2nd stringers in week 17 becuz they would be sitting their starters for the playoffs!

  14. Just now, MAJBobby said:

I take the weather into account.  But I am more talking about like this game locked him in as a Starter it doesn't.  If Tyrod (and I despise TT playing and vowed not to watch another game with him starting) is healthy he starts

right. I don't think it did anything that should sway the coaches in one way or the other. if they viewed tyrod as the starter beforehand they still should now.

I personally don't care who starts as long as they can stumble into wins becuz neither will be the future for the team going into next year anyway..... this whole "start Peterman for the future" movement is comical to me. I pray, even if he plays on par with tyrod, that they don't view him as the future.

I think mostly that's just people that hate taylor so bad they wanna find more excuses to see Peterman.

  15. Just now, MAJBobby said:

No accurate passed need to be there, I am already seeing excuses about Drops

lol. whatever man. he played fine considering the circumstances. which shouldn't be ignored when they are what they were yesterday.

    Just now, teef said:

won't it be wonderful if someday we don't have to have a conversation about which healthy qb to start?

i'm not sure that would ever happen around here no matter the level of qb play.

  16. couple of things here.... I think it should be tyrod. though I honestly don't care becuz neither should be the qb going into next season. which is why I find it comical that people use the future as an argument for Peterman.

and the 2nd thing..... xrush routinely looks like a complete fool when he uses one or 2 games of tyrod being completely ineffective and talks like its the rule as opposed to the exception. tyrod has a history of nice games against the fins. so its just comical to me to say you know for sure he'll pass for 50 yds and lose.

    12 minutes ago, xRUSHx said:

The only stake I see is drafting a QB, moving on from Tyrod and evaluating Peterman, nothing else matters.

staying in the 6th seed sorta matters.... but you're just so far gone at this point I shouldn't even have gotten started with you.

My real, real, gut churning worry scenario is:

    - we beat the Dolphins at home and lose in New England;

    - the Titans lose at San Fran and at home to the Rams;

    - St Doug.... with his Jags already in the dance rests his starters and the Titans win in week 17 to get in at 9-7

That feels horribly realistic to me.

really need the pats to beat the steelers next week and the jags to keep winning until week 17 so they have a chance at that bye.
