Buffalo has to win out  the wway the schedule looks for all of their competition.

havnt I read if buffalo goes 9-7 and tenn goes 9-7 we get the tiebreaker? I don't think its far fetched at all to think TENN can lose 2 of their last 3. against a niners team next week that's twice the squad they were now that they are starting Jimmy G. against the rams and then the jags...... if they don't bring it hard they could easily lose 2 of those 3. and I think we need to pay more attention to them than we do the ravens. ravens schedule is a joke the rest of the way out.

Yeah we don’t have the personnel to stop Brady for very long. We don’t have any LB that can cover Gronk, not even close. Our front 4 won’t get to him on their own. I think he will kill us in the middle of the field. The only chance we have of winning is sustaining drives on offense and putting up a lot of points. It’s a real long shot.

that and some flukey bounces or stripped balls..... I don't really see a scenario where the pats have a clean game on offense and buffalo wins.

  3. Get to him with 4 and sometimes 5 and flood the zones. Not a hard concept just hard to have the personnel to execute. Great giants dlines in their Super Bowl runs had it. Broncos of 2 years ago had it. Elite 4 or 5 rushers..... sadly we have nothing of the sort. Lol. Gonna be a long game.

don't lump me in with the others

see how simple that lesson was

you act like your statements over the last 3 weeks have been fair. when crap was hitting the fan around here about taylor you were one of about 4 or 5 ring leaders I can think of as I observed this board.... I guess that's where we hit the impasse. while we both agree we don't want him long term our views on him and the situation he's been in and what he's offered are much different. and in my not so humble opinion your thoughts are completely 100% dead wrong. but whatever

IMO if one lumps the other should be able to lump as well. JS

you 2 both have had some really strong opinions on taylor. unjust ones at that.... ive been ready to move on for a year now. but some of what you guys go on about him is just absurd.

my big question is what happens when a guy has solid stats and more wins than losses? what what point do the stats and the wins and losses start to hold a little water. come on guys. at some point some credit needs to be given. but instead people find other reasons why he sucks. its pathetic.

Occams razor - the simplest solution is ....

When the Taylor Fanatics rail on about great stats you are met with people that say he sucks.   Tit for Tat, rinse and repeat.

Keep it honest and the truth and half of these ridiculous never ending arguments would end.

right. but I havnt. so don't lump me in there if that is in fact what you are doing here.

when you play bad or have the inability to play better you should be criticized ......  He is what we think he is.   Not Good Enough  NGE

    As to the Alternate Truth.

I was "excited" to see what he kid could to.  I wasn't giddy and jumping for joy.   If you want to accuse me of something make sure you can get it in a quote.

(that way I can't deny it)

while I want better from the position i'm not letting the rest of the team off the hook. guy has a career winning record and the majority of that has been with bad coaching and inconsistent bad play from his defense. i'm way more annoyed with the teams inability to show up in other areas than I am with tyrod over the last 3 years. none of this will matter after this season though as he'll certainly be gone and we hopefully get a bright young talent.

I wont be surprised though when he goes to a more complete team like Denver or jax and wins quite a few games becuz of his undervalued ability to protect the football and be efficient.

what is a tyrod fan? is that buying his jersy or wanting a signed ball by him? is it starting many threads defending his play and wearing the board out with his stats?

or are you a bills fan and even if you don't like his game at times you root for the team for which he is part of?

if the latter, then consider me a fan.

well my wife insisted on a color rush taylor jersey last year so i'd like to at least get a couple more games out of it before I have to buy her a different one. lol

    Fixed that for accuracy.

Not everything you read on the internet is true.

dude. you freaking hammered him during his two losses and then when he got benched. practically dancing around yelling I told you so. come on man. you were at the forefront. now you're back to toning it down after a win.... just like you were staying in line during the 5-2 start.

I am Negan.     (therefore I must be a Tyrod fan)

I guess it comes down to how a person want to dissect this.

    One way -

Alex Smith is like TT  Ultra conservative "protects the ball",     but  Alex has proven he can pass the ball.

Like you said it only works when you have a solid defense.

Which is what I have said for close to 2 years now (and called a hater for it by some).  TT needs a top 5 defense to get his team to 10 or more wins.

and points.  You have to score points right?

I would argue its much more than you just saying he needs a good defense for you to be labeled that...... and I think a consistent top 10-12 unit would do just fine for him.

bottom line is he's not nearly as bad as a handful of you guys have made him out to be over the last couple weeks. he's an average qb that needs help around him. and I would ask at what point does a qb quit getting bashed this much when he is putting up solid numbers combined with more wins than losses. people wanna argue his stats mean nothing. they wanna argue his wins and losses mean next to nothing. at what point do you look at wins and losses and the fairly solid numbers and realize he's not nearly as bad as you'd like to think.

doesn't matter when he does.... last year they were 6th in scoring with him at the helm and you didn't like that either...

Youre the one who spoke of taking sides.

Why the breakdown ?   Are you okay ?

Dont mean to send you spiraling with a couple facts.

no. actually I didn't. I said "people who pick and choose like this".... as in conveniently nit picking certain aspects of a player to form a complete argument about said player is moronic..... guess I coulda been a bit more specific. it had nothing to do with sides.

What a bunch of lies......  2 sacks, so didn't throw it away...... What wr injury? Inaccurate short passes......

    Another wow, just wow post.....

lol. right? the sad thing is I don't even like going to bat for taylor becuz I've been ready to move on since early offseason. but some of these people are just awful....

i'm fairly certain the scramble he's speaking of happened on first down in the 2 minutue drill at the end of the half and it was a real nice 9 yd pickup to stop the clock..... this literally shows me some people have their minds made up even before the game starts. like..... who try and twists that play into anything but a positive?

Then dont pick a side and you won't look foolish.

The reason he fell in the draft is the same reason he's an average at best passer.

Rico wasn't his coach then.    I'm not gonna make him the next in the long list of scapegoats for Tyrod.

another extremist. the minute somebody comes to bat for the guy they are on a side? side of common sense maybe. get real, bruh.

I've been on record numerous times saying i wanted a qb at 10 last year and wanted one this year regardless of if taylor plays solid or not.... that doesn't mean i cant talk common sense about a player. i get it. you cant seem to grasp how that works. its fine. just keep spewing the garbage onto the keyboard that you routinely toss up on this board.

Nothing sums up Dennison better than the run on 3rd and 6. I don’t know what it is with some coaches. I wouldn’t ever run on 3rd and more than 2 unless it was 4 down territory. Doing that on the 2nd possession of the game was insane.

and if you do decide to do it...... how bout we make the executive decision to keep our elite runner out there... i'm so over dennison. just so over him.

  14. 2 minutes ago, xRUSHx said:

I agree why can't it be both, the problem I have is how are you going to find another OC that will want to come in to scrap his scheme to a Taylor made scheme and looking at Tyrods history justify the OC being on the hot seat because of it by the end of year 1. Giving Tyrod OC #4 is not going to make this offense better IMO it will just be the same Taylor made limited scheme.

says the guy who basically lives in extremes on this board. lol. i recall you saying the other day that if i didn't agree with the bills starting Peterman then i must be ok with 56 yd passing days.... your posting style is literally one extreme to the next.

that being said.... both need upgraded, but i find one to be more at fault than the other.

Just now, Air it out Fitzy said:

    Def the oc's fault.

Disregard the qb's lifetime pattern of struggling as a passer.

just like you disregard is career winning record with a squad that hasn't had a consistent defense or coaches over his 3 year tenure..... people that pick and choose like this looks so foolish.

The difference was Buffalo had lost 2 in a row vs. Jets and then NO......  KC has lost 5 of 6 with Smith struggling and a #1 selected with the idea he was going to succeed Smith and played very very well in the pre-season.

DING DING DING! now lets all move along. nothing to see here.

Yeah that was crazy. Piss poor play calling.  With clay shady and tyrod there is no excuse to not dial up a quick short pass play for the 1st down. Having cadet since game 1 couldve made this offense better.

100%. i always knew he was a solid option for brees and the saints over the years but never paid much attention. sure handed and very slippery 3rd down/spell back.

  17. 32 minutes ago, ShadyBillsFan said:

That is exactly how they told it on the radio this AM.  Take out the QB name and you couldn't tell which safe check down QB they were referring to.        up until they mentioned MVP talk in September.

funny.... i got burned by numerous posters in the past saying taylor was basically the alex smith of the last 4 or 5 years before this season. only difference is one has wins and gets a much longer leash becuz he's been gifted elite defenses, run game and talent around him over the last 5 years up until this season.

looks like the chiefs had the right idea winning games while they could and drafting the young prospect. maybe just a year late though. its exactly what i wanted buffalo to do this last draft. win as many as they could. make the playoff push and groom a young guy.... not named Peterman.

  18. this game really didn't do much to change my view. i didn't think they were as bad as the last 3 losses and didn't really think they were as good as the 5-2 record weeks ago. just an average squad. could go anywhere from 7-9 to 9-7 depending on how the ball bounces. happened to catch a team at the right time playing awful football.

dennison is freaking awful..... i remember a sequence in the 2nd half where they ran for 9 on first down and then couldn't get a 2nd and then a 3rd and one. and then on the very next drive they ran for 7 on 1st down and again couldn't pick up 3 more on 2nd and 3rd. both drives were 3 and outs..... that's pathetic.

in other news....what a breath of fresh air cadet has been.
