His left arm is on Shady and he tries to get his right hand over as fast as possible to grab Shady's fanny pack. You can see his wrist is not locked and folds back when it hits Taylor's helmet. He also has his helmet turn towards Shady before his right arm hits Taylor. It looks unintention to me.

not going to convince me it was not intentional either way intentional or not you can't punch a QB in the head and not get a penalty

if you honestly think it looked intentional I find that I little silly.... I had no problems with no flag there.

I think he'd be a great fit as a QB in that smashmouth spread option stuff they do in college.  Throw in some perimeter screens, and bring some tempo.  You can run zones and powers, and they won't be able to crowd the line.  If they do you can do play action, screens, and vertical concepts.

It's a lot of isolating matchups and picking on the same people over and over again.  If you bring a fast tempo, the other team won't be able to sub in/out and will be forced to adapt on the fly.

It's not ideal - but i think we'd probably score more points than we have been.  We'd need to be constantly adding speed at WR, as well as RB.

TENN's "exotic smash mouth" offense is what I always think of for taylor. they are 8-5 right now with mariota playing wayyyy below average. you cant convince me they wouldn't be a better team with a guy like taylor at qb this year.

as for the op's Wilson comparsion? no way. sorry. cant go there.

It is your prerogative and to believe that. Hell I want to believe it too.

Its too close to call.  Tenny needs to lose out but what if Jaz says screw it and takes week 17 off?

KC isn’t going to lie down either.

The Chargers are very motivated as well.

Miami wont go down without a fight.

i remember a season the jets were all but mathematically eliminated. ryan basically gave a concession speech in week 15 or 16... it took some crazy stuff to happen for them to get in at 9-7 and then they end up in the afc title game.

its honestly not horribly far fetched.... I just have a harder time believing we'll go 9-7.

    Hear me out ...  please

The counter argument to that is the big TT fans will use one or two great games to say Taylor is a top 5 QB.

Taylor is good, not great and he doesn't suck.  He needs a great supporting cast around him for things to really work out.

That being said  - a lot of the garbage being tossed about is one side countering the other stupid name for stupid name.

to what I bolded.... I've literally never seen anyone claim he was top 5. maybe one or 2 guys have claimed he is top ten at points. maybe i'm taking you too literal there.

the 2nd bolded statement is a far cry from all of your posts since the 5-2 start. I mean yesterday you were putting a loss on him in which he accounted for just under 400 yds and 3 td and had the go ahead score with a minute left and then got them into position for the go ahead fg in OT.... like, you sorta need to make up your mind. becuz you make crazy outlandish statements like that and then say stuff like this. and also about the "taylor is good" statement... I back the guy becuz people say really dumb things on here, like webb is a better qb,  I don't even think tyrod is "good". I think he's an average qb that can sprinkle in some good games and some bad games.

I'm perplexed here man. you have days like yesterday when you just say the most ridiculous stuff and run with xrushx and his ridiculous comments and then you say something like this. i'm assuming you just enjoy getting a rise out of people that like to argue and take easy bait like me I guess.

Taylor starting when healthy?   - this is the same as it was last week.

Lets agree to disagree.   What I saw on TV showed the ball being "punched" down and out.

great play by the defender. but I personally believe about 90% of fumbles are on the ball carrier regardless of if it was a good play by the defender or not.... the exception being defenders coming around the blind side basically untouched and stripping a qb.

its too bad becuz it would have been a real classic sort of run in a snow game had he not coughed it up at the end.

based on the performance of the last 2 or 3 games  it is not too much of a leap to assume that.

The offense this season is far different from last season.

Beyond the obvious trolling which should be ignored we would all love to see TT  match or exceed last seasons mark and pass for 300 yards and get a Win.

well the bolded is one thing we can agree on. and he just isn't good in this offense. that's pretty apparent.... I just laugh at a certain few that use one or 2 horrible games as a barometer for how his whole career has gone. and anyone that supports him as the starter FOR NOW, apparently supports 60 yd games.... saying we have no shot to win any games with taylor the rest of the year is honestly really silly. he's won more than he's lost this season and for his whole career. so history just says different.

Good, we're on the same page then.

The Miami Dolphins have not needed Smoking Jay to defeat Tom Brady in the past few years in Miami.   Clear enough?

no need to be a jerk, dude. I have no idea what your deal is..... your original wording, before you edited it, made it look like you were saying the fins beat them last night without cutler. which is probably why you reworded it. I simply pointed out he had played and then went on to say regardless of that win I still think we have a good enough chance to beat them.

was Happy Gilmore playing?  How many real injuries did the Putrids have on Defense?

I'm not discounting anything,   It's Miami and December.

I dunno what you're saying at all. actually.... I was just stating cutler played when it looked like you said he didn't. "Somehow Miami manages to beat NE in Miami  (w/o Cutler)" was you original statement before you altered it. I was just stating that he played.... and then I went on to say it didn't much matter to me becuz it'll be a winnable game regardless of who the fins just beat..... we seem to literally be on the same page here about how we feel about the fins but you apparently thought I was picking a fight of some sorty.... so ya. good talk.

If they are going to go with tyrod the rest of the way it's time to just live with what he is. Run read option, designed runs etc.  Enough with this make him into a franchise QB with timing passing and west coast concepts. He will never be that ever.

I totally agree.... design what he does well. maximize what you can and then move the hell on when the season is done.

    1 minute ago, Tenhigh said:

Said the guy who calls TT 3 and out.   Look, I am certain that 99% of this board wants to move on from Tyrod, and I believe 95% feel that JP isn't the answer either.  But if both are healthy, I think that Taylor provides the better chance of winning, especially if the D is playing well.  If the D is a sieve and Taylor can't move the sticks, bring in the kid and try to air it out.

    there you have it. 100%

The whooping of the Bronco's  ... not impressive at all.

uh... i'm fairly certain cutler tossed 3 tds last night. regardless they are a middling team coming into another middling teams house. should be a good game but them beating the pats hardly makes them unbeatable like some posters on this board seem to think.

Let's see how well their game travels beyond the confines of the comfy Hard Rock Stadium.

oh. i'm still all in baby! still see it as a very winnable game but not the romp I thought it would be 2 weeks ago. they've obviously figured some things out on both sides of the ball.

looking at tickets all morning. this guy is gonna be there. we don't get a lot of games that have real implications this late in the year. so i'm gonna enjoy it while its here.

I have not seen 2009 in over 2 weeks.  My only guess is that he's in the penalty box.  Do you know different?

But hey you think I'm dumb so .....

when it comes to football. ya.....

and no. I don't know what happened to him nor do I care. I didn't agree with much he has to say. that's whats frustrating. you see anyone saying anything positive about taylor as being in the COT or whatever stupid name somebody made up for it. meanwhile I understand we need a new qb but find some of the things you guys say, such as blaming him for that Miami loss last year, as just being completely ridiculous..... I don't wanna either of our qb's starting next year. PERIOD.

jm2009 goes into the penalty box and Stank shows up.   hmmmmmmm

Sorry.  I don't see the word agenda tossed about .  can't be the same guy

right. becuz I havnt had this same handle since BBMB days or anything...........

somebody starts calling out stupid remarks and all of a sudden he's a banned poster. I've honeslty routinely got along with everyone on this new board other than you 2. you guys are just on another wave length. its mind blowing.

  14. Just now, xRUSHx said:

Just a different opinion.  Funny how your comments sound just like JM

no. JM actually wants tyrod as a long term answer. I don't. I wanted a qb at 10 last year. but when people say things as absurd as what you spew onto a keyboard I cant help myself I guess.

the funny thing is that you cant even understand how somebody like me could talk about his positives but still wants a better qb. you just go to your default, "must be a tyrod fan" bull crap.

  15. 3 minutes ago, ShadyBillsFan said:

    yet it wasn't.

You and jm2009 (who must be temporarily banned) say the same thing.

Miami last season when OT started, the Buffalo Bills had the ball to start OT.   All they had to do was score a TD for a guaranteed win or a FG.

Both teams punted at least once and TT failed to score on each occasion.   How is that the defenses fault?

drove them down into FG range before a HORRIBLE reverse all derailed the drive. and you are seriously gonna sit here and blame him after 390 and 3td and the go ahead score with a minute left? seriously?  SERIOUSLY?  i'm done man. that honestly speaks volumes about you when it comes to him.
