  1. On the bright side, AJE looked like TJ Watt out there. Once we get Rousseau back and Von up to speed, I can’t think of anyone in the league with a better EDGE room. Praying Daquan can come back this season and Poona can hold it down until then, because this DL is going to be what we need to rely on with Hyde/Poyer on their last legs, a disaster class behind Benford/Jackson and what looks to be Milano done for the year.
  2. He needs to play on a defense that allows him to play press man more often than not. That’s clearly not us.
  3. I’ve been a big Elam “hopeful”, but that was absolutely brutal today. With these injuries piling up, I’m probably ok moving him for a mid-late pick - to gain back a pick we’ll inevitably have to trade to bring in an actual fit for our Defense. Our DL, even without Daquan, has so much talent, but if they don’t get home, Elam might as well not even be on the field after that display I saw today.
  4. It’s fair to question the Kincaid selection. Were 5 games in. Nobody has any idea what the plan is with 12 personnel. We bludgeoned 3 mediocre/bad defenses and looked like a JV offense against the two defenses that can stuff the run… which is something 12 personnel is supposed to unlock. He was a first round pick as a weapon on a team without a defined #2. Long season. Still time for that role to develop. But so far, this team is apparently a “finesse” 12 personnel offense. That’s not gonna fly when it matters.
  5. Ok.. and they aren’t in contract years as the WR2 on a high powered offense led by Josh Allen. His drop was the biggest drop of the game. It came while the pendulum was swinging towards Buffalo. His drop swung it right back to being dumpster fire struggle session that we eventually lost.
  6. Good Times. London took us from 1 seed favorites to just figure out a way to get in. Something has to give. It’s just been too much on the injury front last year and now, again, this year.
  7. The Gabe drop was a killer. We finally had momentum. Puts us from being 1st down in FG range, down 4 with plenty of time left, to 3rd and long / punt.
  8. So… any hope Milano and Jones are only 4-6 / 6-10 week injuries or does every player that gets banged up beyond a bruise automatically done for the season now.
  9. 100% accurate tweet ….and while I’ve been impressed with McDermott this year, it’s damning…
  10. He did. He also had a, potentially, game altering drop when we were moving the ball, looking for the lead, with the momentum for the first time all game. The story of Gabe. A good player. An absolute enigma on the field.
  11. In hindsight, I think the Bills would admit in private that they made a mistake. In fairness, that is what teams have been doing. However, no one has had to play a team already there.
  12. It’s one thing when both teams face the same issues. It’s obvious to anyone who watched, and echoed during the broadcast, that one team looked like they just traveled and one team looked acclimated. Prior, the Euro games have just been boring and sloppy. But on both sides. The travel edge was wildly noticeable. Any team put in our position next year has every right to raise hell on the league.
  13. Sure, but players weren’t making plays for much of the game. Hard to be aggressive when you can’t run the ball and players aren’t making plays when Allen puts it on them. Do I think it was Dorsey’s best game … no, he should’ve taken Cook out way earlier when it was obvious Jax strong run D was not going to allow a finesse back to do anything against them. But in the passing game, guys need to make plays. They weren’t for most of the game. Drops, weak effort. Just an overall lazy, sloppy game for the Offense.
  14. If executed properly, we easily would’ve been in Allen Hail Mary territory.
  15. What a win Jax! Congrats on beating a team put in the worst position the NFL has ever purposefully put a team in! Y’all are amazing.
  16. Good thing we’re so hyper focused on special teams.
  17. Well, lets be thankful we won’t have to play someone who’s been in London all week during the Playoffs.
  18. No, we’re not, but once again Jax and/or NYJ likely ended our hopes of a 1 seed.
  19. I’ve seen that happen a hundred times and the officials always say the timeout will not be charged, followed by “Officals timeout for injury”.
  20. Going to go ahead and assume the guy whose name has been talked about all week is going to wish nobody knew his name after this. Perhaps not entirely all fair, as this is the first time a team has had to play another team that’s been there for over a week. However, whatever we did, was not it. And you can bet, moving forward, teams will raise absolute mayhem if told they have to play someone on the second half of a back to back.
  21. Exactly. And you definitely don’t put him out there beyond what you predetermined in this dumpster fire.
  22. Thanks NFL … Appreciate y’all taking a home game for us and giving us the most lopsided disadvantage anyone will see in the league this year.
  23. Eisen needs to calm down about Von. I wouldn’t play him extended snaps in this dumpster fire of a game either.
  24. Lol… if the DL doesn’t get home immediately, WR’s are just wide open.
