  1. Ill admit.. Social Media Draft Guys post-combine are driving a lot of this. Actual analysts all seem to love Coleman.
  2. It’s also reported the Bills had access to his GPS game speed and he’s a 4.5 guy.
  3. For those who wanted a WR1 out of this draft, Keon Coleman has that potential. The downside is that with his high ceiling, he has a low floor.
  4. Seemingly everyone but Twitter draft guys and a lot of us fans LOVE Keon Coleman. Hopefully they’re right.
  5. I don’t think Atlanta understands what’s going on here in Detroit. Random QB at 8 and then trade up for a reach…
  6. I’m definitely iffy on Coleman, but he wasn’t lasting more than the first 10 picks of RD2… let’s stop with the dramatics that we took a guy that would be there at 60.
  7. Hopefully he proves me wrong. Talented player but separation is a concern. If he can develop his route running, he’s got everything you could want. One thing is for sure.. he won’t get bullied in the Playoffs by physical corners.
  8. Beane still intensely side chatting with his consigliere in the war room
  9. Bills picking after the spinning plates lady on a large unicycle performs.
  10. Keon Coleman is easily the most tape vs testing disconnect I’ve ever seen. The testing tells me he makes zero sense for Josh Allen. The guy has a cannon but doesn’t love throwing jump balls. Keon with T-Law would be disgusting. But then you watch tape and.. yes, he’s not running away from guys.. but he looks like a slam dunk RD1 WR.
  11. Lots of Keon Coleman talk on Twitter and ESPN pre-draft. Louis Riddick gushing about him.
  12. Keon Coleman at 33 would be extremely underwhelming. Bills type character guy who has incredibly questionable skills in terms of translating to the NFL. He looks like a monster “Mossing” college DB’s.. That’s a green flag but also massive red flag. Seems like an “ok” player. WR2 potential, but can he beat top corners … ehhh. No clue. …but if we take him, it screams “we took a swell guy”. Already exhausted by having to justify the pick to myself.
  13. Not sure if there’s any reliability here, but..
  14. Tangentially related to Deebo, as he's a different circumstance, but Greg Tompsett does think we have levers to pull (we'd have to pull a lot of them) but could get to where we need for Aiyuk without messing with Von's contract. Involves a bunch of restructures, including restructures of brand new contracts for Dawkins and Johnson.
  15. I think Greg Thompsett showed where we can make it work for Aiyuk.
  16. What in the world kind of Offense are we planning on running?
  17. Just had one who said he wants to see us go, Center, Corner, Defensive Tackle tonight. I would commit seppuku.
  18. I don't really see us trading for an expensive WR, but if we did this.. McConkey/Franklin plus Aiyuk added to Samuel and Shakir.. Well, I could confidently say that they FINALLY got Josh Allen a squad at WR. That group plus Mack Hollins at WR5 is way better than what we had last year.
  19. I'm also hoping for another trade down from 33, as this pick is usually very coveted. However, Beane said last night that he had offers to move down into the 40's/50's, but thought it was too far back.. so that kind of limits our trade partners. Would love to move back a few spots again and pick up another 4th if possible.. then jump back into RD3 later and get 4 guys tonight.
  20. By all accounts, this Draft is strong through 150 or so players and then drops off a cliff. 8 of our 10 picks are in the Top 160. From that standpoint, solid work in pick aggregation.. now need to put the picks to good use.
  21. Thank you.. I literally DO NOT CARE if we go into the season with Rapp & Edwards at Safety. We had the top Safety duo in the NFL for years and all it seemed to do is shut down bad QB's and Lamar Jackson.
  22. What's not to like about a CB who is apparently a Safety, but hasn't really played much Safety? Seems like a must have to me.
  23. Maybe.. but for all the success the Chiefs have had, it's not due to WR evaluations. They've literally won in spite of that.
  24. Your initial point is that fans have gone over the top about WR. They absolutely have not. That's a different conversation than what do we do now that we're in this situation.
