Tremaine is pretty much who he’s always been but there is one area where I’ve noticed clear improvement: tackling. He’s generally had trouble because of his height. It was really apparent on Sunday when you’d see him standing next to Dobbins after each play. Edmunds looked to be almost a foot taller than the RB. With that said, he’s seemingly learned how to smother players as opposed to crouching down to get to their level. He clearly benefits from the D Line keeping players off of him, but…if they do get on him he still does really poorly in shedding blocks.

TV Map Matching Game: I got all of them without looking at the list below the map…but there are a number purple splotches that I’m not sure I understand. Is there a local connection to SF vs Carolina in those cities or is it because of some blackout rule that forces those areas to get the late game?

I’m not sure why they even really bother. Singletary is wide open over the middle on seemingly every check down. Josh threw it to him multiple times against the Ravens and I was super glad to see it. They used it throughout the playoffs last year and it reminded me of how Kelly used Thurman in the K Gun. It’s good for a minimum of five yards every single time.

This was an interesting ballot measure out here. (We have a few of them each election season.). This particular one was advertised to the public as a means of reducing cruelty to animals. It was only after it passed that the public found out that it would virtually eliminate bacon in the State of California. I’m not the least bit surprised that it’s being challenged.

The best comment I saw on Kamala’s latest racist gaffe was that hurricane relief talking points should be a easy lay up for ANY political figure. I’m guessing we are. All signs point to it. While I appreciate the Biden Administration trying to cheerlead the nation out of one, at some point you have to level with the country. Rapidly rising prices are going to catch up with people and as the article lays out, then they stop buying stuff. When that happens, the recession hits and snowballs until it naturally eases and comes back out. It’s inevitable.

Well, well, well….just read a long article that popped up on my Google feed this morning from guess who? CNN. It appears we’re staring at a recession after all. Go figure? Who knew? And according to CNN the culprit appears to be the Fed. No mention of the Biden Administration’s rampant spending policies whatsoever. But did find a second to take a jab at the new British PM for lowering taxes. So increased spending (good) lowering taxes (bad). Bottom line: inflation was transient until it wasn’t. Recession wasn’t happening until is was. Brilliant! At least we now know that we know that we know…. we’re in a recession.
