  1. I continue to have zero issue with McDermott. Beane would not be an NFL GM without McDermott and he seems to make bad signings in free agency. We must remember McDermott started as a scout. Drafted players thus far all seem inline with what McDermott seen in Phily. There is virtually zero deviation from the way Andy Reid and Howie Roseman draft players. Ron Rivera was also in Phily at the time. Whoever GMs under McDermott only has one job, find players in free agency like Zo and Incognito and Nickell Robey and Corey Graham and Poyer and Hyde.
  2. McDermott and Whaley broke the drought. Beane continues to sign junk. He's clearly a nepotism hire and if not for McDermott he'd still be 3rd in Carolina. No one was looking to hire Beane.
  3. Tyrod is great? Maybe you're illiterate IDK. I have said Tyrod was the best option on the Bills many times, because he was. Tyrod great? That's your imagination buddy.
  4. The same obese POS mod who bans people for talking football on a level too educated for him keeps crap like this open. Go figure.
  5. The Hughes extension means Clowney is out. IMO Murphy can not do both. Murphy is a liability against the run and it's why as the season went on Lawson got more snaps. McDermott runs a Jim Johnson defense, not a Tony Dungy defense. Part of his defense is zone blitz much like the Steelers. The strong side DE must be like a 34 End when they run blitzing schemes. Hardy because of his size was able to be a combination of Murphy and Lawson. If you find that player, good. Get him. Good luck finding him. 6'4 280lbs. Quick, twitchy. Good luck finding him.
  6. This is stupid. He's the youngest End on the roster. Who he's going to take the leadership position from? Hughes? Murphy? Be realistic. He's not a great player. He's good at what they've asked him to do. He's limited. He's probably out after this season. Why make up reasons to dislike him?
  7. This is the point exactly. Shaq is not player 9 or 7 tech for the Bills. At least not from what I've seen. He's been mostly lined up as a 5 and 6 where he is playing the run and when they go pass rush they bring in Murphy to play what people believe are the typical responsibilities of a DE. What I'd say is if the Bills are going to keep him they have to make his career mirror Michael Bennett and Brandon Graham where he is an inside player for nickel and coverage packages. If not, let him walk.
  8. Many don't understand this. The strong side end has to be a 5-6 tech type player. Brandon Graham, is a "McDermott" draft pick, so is Greg Hardy. The defense is not a stats defense. It's a teamwork defense. Shaq has a greater role than stat. Can he be upgraded, yes. Can every player on the roster be upgraded? YES.
  9. I watched almost every televised game and Shaq Played 5tech and ROLB in everyone I watched. I wouldn't take the word of a blog over NFL.com who studied Shaq for the draft.
  10. What you believe is irrelevant. It's not to difficult to look it up. He played 34 RDE and 34 ROLB for Clemson. http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/profiles/shaq-lawson?id=2555252
  11. If I'm Lawson I wouldn't resign with the Bills. I think he's a good player but will never been respected or seen as a good player here, mostly because Bills fans don't understand football or his role. He's not supposed to have ten sacks. People need to get over the sack numbers. Also I think he should go to a 34 team and play one gap 5tech like he did in college.
  12. Throughout his career he's always been better in the 2nd year of a new offense. I see him as being better than last year, but not having a career year.
  13. Still dependent on how well they do against the run. I see them using Oliver in their nickel packages and on rush downs. If they can't stop the run ~5. If they stop the run 9+.
  14. He'd be LT from day one, not in competition with anyone IMO. At 25M for 2 years. It would be a great trade for the Bills. He's a HOF type player. Do it.
  15. Because it doesn't matter. We are where he wanted us to be. How and why is irrelevant.
  16. Your mental confusion has nothing to do with me. Again Beane came into what almost every GM in Bills history came into. That's just a fact. Claiming he had some uncommon cap is a lie. Beane created his own cap situation. I don't care why he did it.
  17. I did say it's a lie. Beane created his own cap problems. He was not hired in cap hell. It's his own creation. There is no getting around that. That's why you keep trying to change the subject. I don't care why he did what he did. The fact is he did it. It was his choice. Anything but that is excuses. Exactly. Beane made the move. It's his responsibility. He didn't inherit it. He's not a victim. Everything that has happened if his fault or success.
  18. Same game he ran down Thurman and Kenneth Davis from the other side of the field. I think it was 93.
  19. 1. I said 'some kind of cap hell'. I stand by that because it's true. 2. Who said it wasn't significant? I said Beane himself is responsible for creating it. It wasn't what he walked into. Exactly my point. Thank you.
  20. The tape does not belong to Kraft. The tape belongs to the State. Criminal acts on tape are public information.
  21. Beane created the dead cap. Beane traded Marcell. Beane traded Tyrod. Beane traded Cordy Glenn. Beane cut Kelvin Benjamin. How much in dead cap is that? It's all self imposed. And honestly I agree with all of it. But to pretend it's somehow not his fault or different then any GM is a lie. And it's not a guess. Every GM had to release players, sign players and build their team. No one came into a QB or team full of stars, except John Butler.
