I think the Bills not playing that first game against the Bengals screwed them. They would have taken the loss and changed up their plans for the rematch in the playoffs imo.

I want a DC who can occasionally slow down an upper level QB not named Lamar Jackson. The Bills defense hasn't been elite imo for 3 years despite what the rankings tell us.

It's got to be their narrative for now. Most of it comes from known hater Nick Wright. He is jealous people put Allen up there with Mahomes so he creates these narrotives. First it was Rollarcoaster Allen. Allen has a good QBR then bad.... and completely ignores Mahomes does the same. He also completely ignores all of Allen's rushing numbers. So all this year it was Allen was throwing picks nonstop.... all of a sudden Mahomes caught up to him in INTs so he changed it to fumbles (not even turnovers... just fumbles) and INTs. For reference: Allen has 19 turnovers this year, Burrow has 14, Mahomes has 12 (no fumbles). Last year Allen had 18, Burrow had 16, Mahomes had 17. So in two years: Allen has 37 TOs, Burrow has 30 and Mahomes had 29. That means that over the last two year Allen averages one more turnover per 4 games compared to Mahomes..... it's hardly the issue the media is making it sound like. Meanwhile sacks in the last two years: Mahomes: 54 Allen: 59 Burrow: 92 Which means that Burrow averages an extra sack per game compared to Allen (not completely his fault). I'll take the extra turnover every 4 games versus one sack a game.

The Ravens. That said the Bills... stats wise... dominated the Dolphins but it was close becasue of turnovers. Opposite for the Bengals. Ravens had that game and a turnover flipped the game. Both teams are coming off a narrow, maybe should of/could of loss, and play each other. I think the Bills need to play more Man in this game. Nothing but love and respect to the Bengals and their fans... no need to get nasty.... it's not like they are Chiefs or Patriots fans lol

The Ravens deployed the same defense the Bills have used against Mahomes, the 2 high safety daring the Bengals to run. If the Bills can stop the run they'll be in the driver's seat in this one. I'd put in Shaq Lawson most of the game to counter that.

I mean the Bills were planning on making the Dolphins pay with their use of Cover Zero.... but either overthrows or dropped passes caused this to be much closer... even with the TOs. If Shakir doesn't drop the 50 yard pass when it's 17-9 or Allen hits Gabe down the sideline on two plays the game isn't really all that close. Dolphins kept running Cover Zero because the Bills didn't connect on those deep shots as much.

If the Bills get to the Superbowl against the 49ers or Cowboys I think it will be the most watched Superbowl

That's exactly what I thought happened. I think the Bills thought they'd go in and get up by 3/4 scores and figured the Dophins would pack it in. Allen missed a wide open Knox to go up 21-0 and suddenly it was tied at 17.

I think the Bills and Bengals fell victim to looking ahead last week because they were playing against backup QBs. Forunately for both they were able to win after a tough battle with a division rival.

I know a ton of Dolphins fans are complaining about the refing but they missed a ton of Blocks in the Back (the Edmunds one on 4th and 8 was the most obvious), plenty of holding calls on the Dolphins OLine were missed. Didn't look like the refs wanted to call penalties. Aside note: I've never seen anything like how many times the Bills blew up a play only to have a coach call a timeout right before the play starts or the Dolphins getting a penalty for Delay of Game. Like 4/5 times that happened

To be fair: The Big 3 and all 4 remaining AFC teams have had trouble putting away teams.

I think Higgins will be the bigger problem. This game will ride on the Bills DLine generating pressure

I think this is the first game the Bills will miss Von Miller. They have to take advantage of that OLine

That elbow injury cost him. Also it will never help that he plays in a division that plays better defense imo.
