  1. Kind of missing the point of people directly tying this last concussion to his history, as if it should have been a warning sign that he was going to get KICKED IN THE HEAD. If John Doe has a history of knee injuries, and some random mugger happens to club him in the knee during a robbery, the response isn't "well we should have known he'd get his knee injured, he does have a history after all". That's my point. It was a fluke. *edit* Unless you mean to imply that the kick to his head was of a specific intensity, one that wouldn't injure someone without previous concussions, but would injure someone with a history of them? Cuz that's not really how concussions work.
  2. You can't have a worrying "history" of getting kicked in the head. That's something you have to chalk up to bad luck, the same as if someone with a history of knee injuries gets hit with an illegal chop block or someone falls sideways on their leg. That has a high chance of injuring them regardless of their history.
  3. Thou dost surely mean forumites whomst elucidate the Queen's English.
  4. How about the opposite? There was a definite gang of people going "You're an idiot if you don't agree the sky is falling and we should fire everyone" when the Giants scored that opening TD.
  5. I get the feeling the OP would complain about only winning on 3 out of 4 lottery tickets. As you said we had the cap space, and already revamped the rest of the offense, so gambling on Kroft was actually not a bad idea. It's like when people were freaking out about Morse being injury prone and missing preseason after getting freaking kneed in the head. That wasn't his "injury history".
  6. Allen will run for a few first downs, DiMarco will probably get a couple touches, and Yeldon wasn't exactly doing doing much in the first two games, so we basically "only had 2 RBs". The Bengals have the #31 defense for yards per play, we will be fine. I don't care if the run game is boring if we win.
  7. Call me crazy but the words "$20 worth" and "water" should never have to be in the same sentence in the context of a single afternoon. CFL stadiums have bottle filling stations, I'm sure they can figure it out for New Era. Just because you're fine with ridiculous policies, doesn't mean I should just have to "budget for it". I don't care if it's a difference of pennies out of pocket, BS is BS.
  8. Yeah I didn't see THIS topic being discussed. Noticed there is a bit of a double standard on who gets given crap for topics that have even a tertiary relation to something else being discussed.
  9. Yeah my dad gets faint-y when dehydrated, and I have nerve issues that can be aggravated by dehydration (I'm on crutches at games), so I get a bit irked when people on here say "boo hoo, if you can't go 4 hours on a hot day in direct sunlight without water, stay home cuz you're not man enough". Sorry for being on a budget and not wanting to spend $4-5 on a bottle of water after having to drop $30 for handicapped parking and $10 for an "approved bag". Gotta make do with hobbling to guest services at halftime for a Dixie cup of water to take my meds.
  10. I looked up Bill Grays earlier in Google Maps, and there were two closer to me! Just..."permanently closed". Uhhh sure thanks Google, so helpful.
  11. After some research it seems the closest place to me that serves something close enough to a "true" garbage plate is Greek To Me, about 55 minutes from me and the opposite direction of where I'm headed. Found an article about Buffalo's options and most of them were basically bastardized poutines. Guess I'll have to make the trip to Rochester some day. I'm interested though to hear more about this supposed controversy of Nick's being the "original" but not one of the best. Like Duffs I guess?
  12. I missed this, but can anyone recommend a good place for a garbage plate near the Niagara Falls border or Lewiston? Never had one before.
  13. I'm guessing you haven't been to a Bills game lately. They absolutely still took our bottles on hot days, with the exception of that one exceptionally hot day I think last year where they suspended the rule for the day to avoid lawsuits. You may also notice that Carolina is a lot further south and warmer than Buffalo. *edit* Oh and they allow purses but not fanny packs. Because the functional difference is...? I nagged them to let me in on that point because I was on crutches with my meds in the pack, and wasn't going to stand in line for an hour at the shop to spend $10 for a bag I'd have to carry while I'm on crutches. Next game I go to I'm literally going to borrow a purse from my sister and dare them to not let me bring it in. Don't care if I look dumb it'll be a fun talking point about their ridiculous policies.
  14. That's exactly what I said and doubled down, even quoted the dictionary definition of thug to them. The original implication of being racist was someone posting some SJW article to me about "historical racist implications of the word" or something to that effect. They knew who AB was when they signed him, and gambled that things would stay under wraps. They lost the gamble and should have to live with the consequences and cap hit. The casino doesn't give you a refund if your bet doesn't pay out.
  15. Whoa be careful, I already got called racist for calling AB "The T Word".
  16. 12 plays of 8+ yards and 3 plays of 25+ yards in the turnover riddled first half alone, with Mosley playing.
  17. Yeah I was waiting for someone to post this. "It's ok, I won't get caught cuz I won't use my current phone number. They won't have a clue it's me. It's a genius plan, I'm a genius."
  18. I literally created an account on their forum just to point that out. He also added the enlarged spleen part after the game time fever retroactively raised from 102 to 104 degrees. That is amazing for him to play through that, since that is considered a "high grade fever" that normally requires hospitalization. I guess their team doctors need to have their licenses revoked for letting him play with a debilitating illness.
  19. I love how that SAR idiot responds to every valid anti-Jets or pro-Bills point with... A. Irrelevant nonsense about the Yankees winning the division, because Bills fans can't like the Yanks apparently. Geographic proximity to a good team in a different sport grants the Jets greatness by association. B. Irrelevant nonsense about him being allegedly rich and Bills fans being poor. C. Baseless blanket statements about Allen being a bust and Darnold being great. D. Excuses about Mosley being injured, as if the Jets are the only team in the league with an injured player. E. Childish insults and avoiding the point. Then there's his crony piping up to praise him for being "the voice of reason, as always" and saying he's been right about everything, ever. At least there's the odd Jets fan on there calling him out for being a delusional homer.
  20. That Titans LT just almost let in the 10th sack.
  21. Cindy only has the #2 passing O by virtue of being #2 in passing attempts, and at the expense of having the #32 rushing O. Their passing totals and mediocre 7.8 per attempt are also inflated by a 66 yard TD, which I don't think they will make a habit of against us. They also have one of the lowest 1st down rates on passes for any of the teams with 400 total passing yards. Also a lot of sacks allowed. TL;DR Their O ain't that hot. We're overall better on both offense and defense. I can see why 90% would pick us to win.
  22. Wow he...has a face... You seem to contradict yourself here. "It was much more than the costume...he was like a million other fans."
  23. Pancho was great and deserving of at least some measure of team attention, but the whole canonization of him as a Bills saint was starting to border on WWE levels of pandering to emotion for "cheap pops".
  24. Now if only they could do some actual enforcement INSIDE the stadium. Crack down on the rowdy drunken frat boys puking all over the seats, sexually harassing women, and sitting in our seats and refusing to leave. Oh and throwing things over the balcony and cheering when they hit people. Security was slow to respond and ended up doing nothing, and they took forever to get some crew up to us to clean up the flood of puke right beside us.
