  1. Sun lights up the daytime Moon lights up the night I light up when you call my name And you know I'm gonna treat you right You give me fever
  2. Getting a little close to PPP territory now. I'm not going there.
  3. I don't really mind how much you love me Ooh, a little is alright
  4. As it becomes legalized, it seems like a combo pizza place and dispensary would be a great business opportunity. I'd call it "The Pizza Joint."
  5. In fairness, I did say "a good chance." I agree - not every man from Florida is necessarily "Florida Man." Bills fans in FL are clearly the exceptions! 🙂
  6. I'm going down to Yasgur's Farm Gonna join in a rock 'n' roll band Got to get back to the land Set my soul free
  7. He's from Florida, so there's a good chance that he doesn't feel dumb at all, thanks to the Dunning-Kruger epidemic there.
  8. I agree with you that he's on the bubble and he probably knows that. I don't have a problem with it. It's his hometown team. Doesn't every player want to play for the team he grew up rooting for?
  9. Seems I've got to have a change of scene Every night I have the strangest dream
  10. Oh, I get by with a little help from my friends Mm, I get high with a little help from my friends Mm, gonna try with a little help from my friends

  12. The sky is crying, look at the tears roll down the street The sky is crying, look at the tears roll down the street I'm waiting in tears looking for my baby, and I wonder, "Where can she be?"
  13. Every day, the movie "Idiocracy" becomes less of a comedy and more of a documentary.
  14. Throughout the night When there's no direct light And a thin veil of clouds Keeps the stars out of sight I can smell the colors Outside on my lawn The moist green organic That my feet tread upon
  15. I know a hard-core Bills fan who felt that way. He recently discovered that he may only have a year or two left in this world, and he suddenly realized how little a Bills SB win meant to him in the larger scheme. When he says, "Life's too short to obsess over sports," he means it literally. All he wants in this life is to ensure that his family is secure and he leaves a personal legacy. Perspective, my friends.
  16. It's been years since the words "mediocrity" and "Bills" have been uttered in the same sentence, and Josh's record as a starter is 63-30. When wins outnumber losses by more than 2:1, I'd hardly call that team a "perpetual loser."
  17. There are two kinds of fans: those who watch for entertainment and those whose identities are so wrapped up in the success of their local sports team(s) that they can't simply enjoy the ride. I'm the former, but that doesn't mean I don't care about a SB or that I'm not thoroughly bummed when they lose - especially in the playoffs. It just means that I can't control those things. Win or lose, my contribution was sitting on the couch watching the game, so I don't let the outcome affect my life or my self-esteem.
  18. I think it's safe to say he's not getting fired anytime soon, so perhaps we can stop with the various "Fire McD" threads. I know ... fat chance. But that horse is dead. The horse is no more. It has ceased to be. It has expired and gone to meet its maker. It is an ex-horse.
  19. Nothing like reviving a two-year-old thread just to say, "I told you so."
  20. Anything you want, you got it. Anything you need, you got it. Anything at all, you got it. Baaaaaaaaby!
  21. Got no time for spreadin' roots The time has come to be gone And though our health we drank a thousand times It's time to ramble on
  22. Talkin' 'bout your troubles It's a cryin' sin Ride a painted pony Let the Spinning Wheel spin
  23. In my mind, I'm gone to Carolina Can't you see the sunshine? Can't you just feel the moonshine? Ain't it just like a friend of mine to hit me from behind When I'm gone to Carolina in my mind?
  24. My wife (who's not Italian) and I were at a family gathering and we ran into a Tony whom I hadn't seen in years. Before I said hi, she said, "Tony, right?" I asked how she knew and she said, "In your family, I figure if I call someone Tony or Joe, I have a pretty good chance of being right."
