These are opinion articles. Feeling discriminated doesn’t need mean you are discriminated against. I work in HR man and for 15 years. I hear discrimination cases all the time and they aren’t even close. Its usually just a pissed off guy who was being held accountable. Companies are production based. The better workers you have, the more product you make, the more money you make and the larger bonus you get. A Manager wants a worker he can rely on and make him look good. He doesn’t care about your color. He cares about his paycheck and performance reviews. The better your team is, the better you look. We have been pressed since I started my career to hire more minorities. Problem is, 75% of engineering degrees are white males. So we get pressure from the company all the time to hire minorities. We track it all the time. We are actively looking for minorities and have been for my whole career. You’re against merit based hiring…got it.

You are missing the point again. It wasn’t just black pilots lol. It was anything DEI. Why are people so against merit based hiring? If the airline didn’t have DEI hiring practices, he would not feel uncomfortable with a minority pilot. That is the point you are missing.

Way to not understand the example. I did not say there were crashes all the time. I am just using airlines because its safety. Use any position you want. When you need to fill a race quota, you’re not going to get the most qualified. That’s lowering the standard. It should be the best, regardless of race.

He was against DEI. He wants the most qualified regardless of skin color. If you 100% knew that a pliot who is carrying your family didn’t meet the general minimum requirements to pass his flying test or whatever they call it…but they still gave him his license- are you flying on that plane? The reason why he said it was not to be racist, it is because he will never have any certainty that black pilot is 100% qualified. A white pilot 100% has to pass the minimum requirements so he 100% knows he was properly licensed. That is not racist. Look at what happened in the flooding in Texas. Little children lost their lives due to incompetency at the Rescue Teams highest person. Immediately got a no confidence vote from the Union after that. We now have judges who don’t even need to pass the bar or even go to Law school. Is that the person you want in charge of dangerous criminals? A Ukrainian girl would be alive today if we had proper judges. That was Charlie’s point. Its the truth and he was killed for it. This is not a free speech country. You won’t get arrested but you will be killed. What we just witnessed was an absolute abomination to what America is supposed to be. He allowed the other view to talk, he didn’t silence them. He gave them time but they killed him because they wanted to silence him. Im incredibly upset by this. He was a good man who did nothing wrong but George Floyd has memorials/statues. “We don’t like Charlie’s opinion so we will kill him. George Floyd who beat pregnant woman and who was a horrible human being, lets idolize him.” Its so evil.

My boss just text me a tweet where it says he is now stable but have no idea if its true. I haven’t been able to work since this broke. I keep hitting refresh. He is one of my most respected people. He preaches non violence and encourages people with differences of opinion to come to the front. He ALLOWS you to be heard even with a differing opinion but then shot because some don’t want to hear his opinion.

No, he is open in the traditional sense. You took a still photo with Palmer's momentum towards the sidelines where he's headed. The defender is not in position to keep up with him and that's why he got blown right past by....he reached for Palmers hips after being beaten. This is throwing him open because Allen knew where he was supposed to be because he was going to be open. So yes, he was wide open.
