Are you sure about that?

I agree with this but I also think the Bills have some culpability for putting up with his antics. Specifically giving him ANOTHER extension after the Tyreek Hill trade/new contract when he had several years left on his current deal. There was no good reason to give him that extension since it kicked in after he was 30 other than he and his agent were using whatever leverage they had in the moment. For the busniness of Diggs it was the right time to capitalize and he maximized his dollars out of Buffalo but it was not the right thing for the Bills. In the end there was no way for Buffalo to make him happy. The guy is immensely talented but reading Josh at pressers along with McDermott and Beane, it is obvious Diggs wanted to be force fed and for the most part they obliged him even though it may not be for the best of the team. There will be a hole to fill but I believe the Bills will be fine without him.

Last player to leave in any way that hurt?

Jason peters comes to mind Thurman sign g with the dolphins was a killer for me. -
This guy is an emotional wreck all the time. It’s like a 14 year old has a job on Wgr

No clue how to spell the name but Odunze?
-
How far up can you get up the board with 28 and next years one?
-
I think the plan is to draft guys not sign more overpriced guys.

I am pretty excited about this news because I think it is medicine that was needed. However on the field there is a lot that will be missed. 1. Diggs brought a certain in your face intensity to practice and games that I think made the Bills DB's and other WR's better. He is always challenging his opponent. 2. Diggs never missed one game in 4 years, that is remarkable. On the flip side, we should end up with someone who will at least try and block on running plays.

ok mate

A couple things. 1. volume of picks and value of picks are different things. You would rather have a 2 vs a 5 and 6. 2. This is often not understood....you trade contracts as much as players. The Texans are taking a toxic/crap contract off the Bills hands. So yes they are getting a player but it comes with a high AAV for them also. 3. Diggs is over 30

Cant wait to hear what Sal (there is no possible way to move on from Diggs this year) has to say on my drive home.

They got a second...good news.

I support this decision because that crap extension they gave him is/was untenable to continue with.

Like OMG they ignore WR!!!!!!!!!! How is Diggs on the team again? -
The only thing worse than The criticism of Josh Allen is Bills fans level of butt hurt over it.

Brown, Bernard & Torrence Get Nice Pay Bonus

Brown, Bernard & Torrence Get Nice Pay Bonus
Matt_In_NH replied to BuffaloBillyG's topic in The Stadium Wall
Does that come off the cap now or is this accounted for some other way? Either way, this is one of the things the NFL does pay wise that makes some sense..........pay the guys who play. Bernard is on there too....the Bills with 3 of top 17.........what do the Beane detractors have to say about this? -
The Bills should slowly revolutionize the kicking game.

Down the hall from where the OP learns about kicking strategy -
The Bills should slowly revolutionize the kicking game.
Matt_In_NH replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
The key is to do this slowly so its not noticed, I would suggest 2 inches per year over 36 years to get to the final of 72 iinches. If you try to go faster than they someone will catch on. -
So you think Frazier called a defense and the players all collectively did something completely different? In you logical mind that is the most plausible scenario?

In this case it was coaching. Defending the sidelines and giving that cushion when all they needed and wanted was a FG attempt. It was the wrong scheme to play given the situation. Romo called it out, it made no sense. They should have done a squib, they should have played the receivers at the LOS...the staff effed it up. The fact Poyer says we all made mistakes really points to his character and being a team player, not wanting to throw people under the bus. He has relationships with these people.
