What the hell does a director of archives do? It seems like a lofty title for someone who files game tapes.

There is interest in EM but the way the NFL operates teams rarely get fair value for trades anymore. This is even more true when it is known the team wants to get rid of a player. The bills will probably get no better than a fourth rounder. Some of the teams showing interest may not offer anything in the hope that EM will be cut. By contacting EM's agent now they can work out the preliminary terms to a contract before he may get cut.

People complain that Donahue signs high profile free agents that don't get the bills to the playoffs. Now they complain that Marv is targeting low priced free agents and no big name players. I am starting to think most bills fans just like complaining.

Runyan and Fabini are too old. Lets face the reality that the bills are in rebuilding mode. In rebuilding mode signing old veterans only wastes money because by the time the bills have a chance to compete for the playoffs you are over paying for a player with declining skills. So at this point signing young players with potential is the way to go and I think Marv recognizes that.

Don't get too excited it was only the first game. The same people who are all excited now are the same people who will say the bills are doomed when they lose their first game.

There was some talk that Clarett may be made into a fullback and if he is then they could easily keep all of them. I would have to say Dayne is the most likely to get cut the broncos are just taking a cheap gamble on him in hopes that he will pan out.

The packers are stacked at RB. Travis Henry might only be a third stringer on their team. Ahman Green is better and Davenport may be better than Green.

I think TD has to use some of the cap space this year to lock up bills that will be free agents next year like Clements and Fletcher. If you look at the list of bills free agents next year it is much worse than just JJ and PW.

The Bills might be trying to trade Travis Henry for Patrick Surtain. In that case Surtain is the more valuable player but because his salary is so large it is about an even trade.

Miami would have to be retarded to give up a top 5 pick for Bledsoe and Henry.
