  1. Butler is so much better than Gilmore, I think this will blow up on the Pats.
  2. Want- Hooker Dont Want- Mahomes/Kizer Dark Horse- Reddick Think- Mike Williams
  3. 1) Browns- Myles Garrett, DE Texas A&M 2) 49ers- Malik Hooker, S OSU 3) Bears- Solomon Thomas, DL Stanford 4) Jags- OJ Howard TE, Alabama 5) Titans- Johnathan Allen, DT Alabama 6) Jets- Marshon Lattimore, CB OSU 7) Chargers- Jamal Adams, S LSU 8) Panthers- Leonard Fournette, RB LSU 9) Bengals- Haason Reddick, LB Temple 10) Bills- Deshaun Watson QB Clemson (I do think the Bills will try to trade down) I doubt Whaley would draft a small school guy in round 1 anyways. He drafts from power schools in power conferences, in rounds 1-3.
  4. I agree with everything you said. I think Kupp would be a great number 3, I would be very happy with him in the third round. There is no way I am drafting him in the second though, he is not athletic enough to be a number 2 in the NFL. Josh Reynolds is another guy that is flying under the radar.
  5. Chad Hansen is going to be a great NFL player. I think he has second round talent but seem to be under the radar for whatever reason. He would win the WR2 job in training camp and hold that position for many years.
  6. I honestly think Howard has a chance to go top 5. I would be all for drafting him with the 10th pick though.
  7. So really we are going to be a nickel based defence rather than a 4-3. We need more corners and more hybrids. Seems like this system is built on versatile players. Hyde can play S, hybrid S/LB, and nickel. Peppers fits a similar type of mold in the draft. The next most versatile defender in the draft would be Reddick. It will be interesting if that trend continues.
  8. I love this signing, I don't think the Bills draft a WR high after locking up Holmes for four years. Holmes should be an upgrade over Woods in our offence (I feel like Tyrod will do better with big WRs). Should be a solid #2/3, I wouldn't mind adding a guy like Chad Hansen in the third. He might be my favorite WR in the draft. It is looking more and more likely we add a LB in round 1. I think the Bills will try to trade down and draft Cunningham or Reddick. If there are no trade partners they may stay put and draft Foster. Whaley loves his Alabama prospects. Look for CB in round 2, Tabor might fall to us. He would be a great fit for a zone scheme, the guy is the best play making DB in the draft.
  9. The AFC South is still the weakest division. I could see any of the four teams winning. None of them stand out to me. It would not surprise me at all if Oakland regressed a bit this year. They are also in the toughest division in the AFC. Denver and KC could easily knock them off.
  10. That is why I am so happy we kept Tyrod. If we let him go we would have put ourselves in the exact same situation. Keep Tyrod until we draft someone that can beat him out.
  11. The AFC is wide open. The Patriots and Steelers are locks to make the playoffs, that is it.
  12. Cutting Wood is silly. I am happy to have good oline depth for once. Great signing.
  13. Usually we bring in our first pick and a few other picks in for predraft visits. Our first pick also comes from a power program in Whaleys tenure. The favorites in round one off of that list have to be Peppers and Watson.
  14. I think they knew this was coming. They signed Ducasse to be a backup guard last week. They must be okay with Patrick Lewis as a backup center. Sucks to lose Groy, he filled in well last year.
  15. That would not surprise me at all. That kid from LSU might be a possibility if Lattimore is off the board. They haven't even tried to upgrade corner in FA, so they must believe they will fill that need in the draft. The only question is round 1 or round 2. Logan Thomas definitely has a chance to be good, hopefully he makes a Tyrelle Pryor type of transition. What are your thoughts on Jerod Evans? He had a great year last year. It would be kind of neat to have three former VT QBs on the roster, haha.
  16. I would be pretty mad if we traded up for another LB. We have so many holes to fill.
  17. I thought they would target a QB as well. I think they would have had to add a starter at DB and WR in free agency, if that was their plan.
  18. I expect the Bills to draft secondary early and often in this draft. This year is a rare opportunity to develop a dominant secondary with such a deep pool. Hyde locks up one starting safety position, Poyer's contract seems to indicate a guy that is a backup for both safety positions and is a key special teams contributor. It appears we have a starting safety position open, I expect that to be filled in the first two rounds. I think the Bills view Darby as a solid starter, but I think they would prefer to have Seymor as a nickel. Roberson showed some potential and should lock up the fifth spot. We need a starter, a 4th string, and a 6th string at this position (we should have at least six with NE going 4 WR every play). The Bills will address this in round 1 or 2. WR is another position we need to add to early. Luckily this is a deep draft and we can find solid production from guys in the middle rounds. I think we can find a solid starter (for a run first team) in round 3. We have a great number 1, Listenbee could be a number 4, and Brown should be a number 5. We need a number 2 and a number 3 still. It would be nice to add a guy like Quick so we only have to add one guy in the draft. We really need to add another developmental QB, we don't have the picks to do it right now. I think the Bills will look to trade down and add additional picks. I don't think there will be many suitors though as there is not a lot of separation in picks 15-90. We may add a guy like Evans in the 5th round. 1st round- I think the Bills are hoping that Hooker, Lattimore, or Adams fall to them. There is a decent chance of that happening. If not they will really try to trade down, but will most likely settle for Peppers or one of the top WRs. 2nd round- I expect the Bills to target a DB in the second round. Wilson, Tabor, Jackson, Moreau, and Awuzie are typically 1st round corners. One of these guys will fall to us. 3rd round- There are some great WR prospect flying under the radar right now. Cooper Kupp will drop because of his 40 time, probably only to late round 2. Samuel and Zay Jones will go in round 2. The guys I would hope for is Chad Hansen, he has everything you want in a 2nd WR. Godwin, Reynolds, and Cannon have some good number two qualities as well. Round 5 and 6 we need to add a QB, DB, and TE. If we do all those thing we will be looking pretty good going into the year. Round 1- Jamal Adams S Round 2- Fabian Moreau DB Round 3- Chad Hansen WR Round 5- George Kittle TE Round 5- Jerod Evans QB Round 6- Erza Robinson DB
  19. It would not shock me if Howard was the pick. Very safe pick, the kid would instantly upgrade the passing game. It would be interesting to see if Howard was above Davis and Williams on the Bills board. He is essentially a WR with his skill set. Plus we know Whaley likes taking guys from successful programs in round 1.
  20. Man I hope Dennison finally uses screens. The WR screen has been dominant for NE for years (Peyton Manning used it effectively as well).
  21. Seems to be about right, odds wise. Adams, Lattimore, Davis, and Watson are the favorites at this point.
  22. So not even guaranteed to make the team then. We do need to keep adding numbers though.
  23. Seems like a WR4, still need a WR 2 and WR 3.
  24. He played really well the last couple years. He has had trouble staying healthy though.
