Keep finishing dead last and the team will have to move. The fanbase, rightfully so, is not going to get all giddy over any prospect, no matter how highly touted they are.
Just throwing this out there.....to include the pre-season games (yes, I know), the Bills have given up 53 points in 5 games and 7 of those came from a blocked punt. They have 2 shutouts.
I think a new tradition should be started. Greet visiting teams at the airport and heckle them. Do it again after the Bills beat them on their way home.
I can say that because of what I've witnessed. Allen has missed wide open receivers when he isn't being pressured. WIDE OPEN receivers.
Again, I believe he will settle down but to make excuses for his below average play is puzzling.
And Allen probably will be fine but to say he is playing even OK is BS because he isn't.
I remember Kelly going through quite a bad stretch in 1989. It happens and it's OK to admit that a player on your team is not performing well.
I don't understand why anyone would get upset at pointing out Allen's play has not been good.
We all know he's capable of much more. He needs to figure it out with a big assist from Daboll and Dorsey.
The NFL would have had to postpone next weeks games due to mourning ghe death of Tuna. He would have eventually left the game and delivered to the nearest hospital via a hearse.
Pittsburgh better finish number 1 in defense this season to even be considered in the top 50. Quite frankly, I don't see any dominant defenses currently in the NFL.
