  1. MVP in part has always been a stat award. Usually goes to 1 or 2 seed and the QBs are almost always top 3 in TDs at the very least.
  2. Woods wanted out. Nobody ran him out. Jones still took years just to be a decent guy. Gabe is not better than Woods.
  3. I like Brady and I won't be mad if he is retained as OC. I just hope they do a serious search and not just hand him the job like they did Dorsey.
  4. Yet I have said almost all year that Bass was off and got argued with every week about it. It took until KC playoff game for people to agree with me.
  5. I don't think there is a chance in hell McD goes for it in that spot. McD is pretty aggressive on 4th downs comparatively to most other coaches, but with the game on the line when they have a chip shot tie, I don't see McD going for that. 4th and 1 maybe and even that is close for me. 4th and 5 id say 99% chance no. Before you disagree, how often have you seen McD go for 4th and 5? Has McD ever put the game on the line on 4th down instead of taking the tie if its possible and extending the game? Not that I recall.
  6. and his losses... Rookie year with a team that wasn't even a playoff team. Mahomes Mahomes Burrow (the mentally exhausted year. I dont really like this excuse but hey they did one for Lamar so...) Mahomes No shame in any of those losses. Especially when at least one of them shouldn't have been a loss.
  7. He is not. Hero ball is trying to make something happen thats crazy and not really there to be made. Stuff that maybe even put the ball in jeopardy. Josh didn't do that all night. Deep throws are not hero ball.
  8. Actually, I agree with this. It's a shame Dawkins got abused and Josh missed the pass. I would say that Josh worked harder and did more than anyone on the field though. This team needs to stop fielding the Sherfield and Harty's at receiver and go get someone reliable. I would not. It was decent but Brady suffers from the same thing that Dorsey and Daboll both suffered from. He doesn't know how to mix up a game and keep a defense guessing on its toes. The other team knows we are running. The other team knows we are passing more often than not. It always seems run when the passing game isn't working so well and run until the run is stopped. Hardly ever do I see a shot or even a pass play on second and short for instance. Even though, we may convert that 2nd and short for a first down via the run, thats all it usually is... a couple yards. The other team knows its coming because thats what we do. How about throw a pass play in there once in a while. Its like we set stuff up all game and all year long but never work off the setup.
  9. He isn't dumb at all. I wouldn't put him on the processing level of Brady or Mahomes but he is far from dumb. Sometimes Josh made the wrong read yup. All QBs do though. Part of the problem was also spacing issues. The offense makes a defender in conflict. The DB had to choose to commit to covering one receiver or the other. Josh needed to read that. The problem is that a lot of times the spacing was so close that the defender wasn't truly in conflict at all. He could sit almost in the middle of the two players and jump either receiver when the ball was thrown. Josh is an enigma. A unicorn. There is a lot of access to film now. Fans have grown into scrutinizing and nit picking every single play. The media nitpicks every single play because its Josh Allen. I don't think this happens for any other QB in the media really. Maybe it does and because I am a Bills fan, I don't see it but I have never seen a QB get so nit picked on every single play. That just magnifies the bad when a team loses games. In Allen's case it even does so in the wins. I assure people that bad plays happen for all QBs. We seen Mahomes over throw 2 TDs in this game alone. It wasn't even his only two mistakes. If they lost that game I doubt Mahomes is looked at as harsh as Josh is almost every week. Instead of the receiver drops being magnified... or even talked about really, we are nit picking where he should have thrown the ball 2 yards beyond the los instead. Think people do that for Mahomes? Hell no, they say ohh his receiver dropped a TD pass.
  10. Josh Allen needs the Josh Allen of receivers and this team would be unstoppable. Dude just lays out everything he has.
  11. Dang is it time for Dak to get a new contract already? Well he has a no franchise tag clause in his contract so Dallas pays him or they lose him.
  12. Diggs was open. Im not doing pics right now. Warner even says "I get it, Diggs is open right here." Its one play dude, I am not going in circles with you. Have more things in life to worry about. Because he is one of the top QBs in the league. If you don't think so then I think we are done discussing. Pretty much anybody respectable will tell you he is a top QB. Someone not named Nick Write hoping for clicks and weak minded Dolphin/Chiefs fans. Good Josh/Bad Josh is something fans made up in their head. All QBs have bad days. What made Brady/Warner special was the ability to read and identify stuff quickly and throw a quick accurate ball. What makes Josh special is his running ability, his uncanny ability for extending the play, cannon for an arm, and the ability to get the ball anywhere on the field at any time. You see Brady or Warner running to the sideline and wipping out a 30 yard pass across their body on the one inch mark? No. There is a lot more special and different about Josh and those two guys. If you don't see the difference you either haven't been watching, you can't identify what you are looking at, or you're just looking for a disingenuous conversation. I could write an essay on the differences but come on bro. You know the differences. The reason those guys don't throw to Diggs there is because they don't have the ability to throw to Diggs there. 65 yards in the swirling winds and dropped it on the damn money. I apologize if I sound a little dickish. Had a bad day. I don't mean it.
  13. These issues were present with Dorsey too. Not sure on Daboll. Don't forget we lost Chad Hall. WR coach I am sure has a lot to do with teaching this stuff and getting it right.
  14. Honestly this might take me a couple days. I'll DM you when I get around to it or I can just @ you here.
  15. Get us a top receiver in round one even if they have to move up. Then I don’t care what they do.
  16. well I’m at drs now discussing surgery so it’s gonna be a while.
  17. Get r done Beane. this was just sarcasm guys lol.
  18. im not going to look it up again but cover 1 did a thing showing Diggs fall off. It started before Brady. in any case I’m not going to blame his fall off on Brady. Maybe part of it but you could see on the field it wasnt just offensive system with him. Some of his routes were lazy af and not crisp. His hands have been a problem and that’s not OC.
  19. all that does is kick the rest of it to the following season. So they would pay like 9mil this season and then have to pay the remaining 22 mil the following season.
  20. People have wanted to blame Brady in the past. Diggs slide started two weeks before that.
  21. not this coming season. His cap hit is 27m. His dead cap is 31m. How do you figure they would save 10m? They would pay more to release him than keep him.
  22. Nothing will happen with Diggs. His cap hit is too large to do anything other than keep him.
  23. You're welcome. Although my own paraphrase may not be exact either. If you want to hear it for yourself you can goto my thread. Part two video right about 15 minutes in. Honestly the entire thing is worth the watch but it will take you an hour. For that specific play though 15 minutes in roughly on part two.
