  1. Shorter was a 5th, Cephus a 5th, Hamler a 2nd, Isabella a 2nd.
  2. Russel Bodine. I don’t think Pats have traded with us since lol The guy to watch at WR4 is Hamlin, but in all reality if we go out with 4-wide and no inline TE, it will likely be Kincaid in one of the slot positions. Even in 5-receiver sets, it’s probably Cook or Knox as the 5th target.
  3. Definitely possible! Samuel will have more opportunities in the backfield as well. Are we all in agreement Kincaid is the top target next year?
  4. For Samuel to have 1000 yards we’d have to have injuries to Kinciad, Shakir, and probably Coleman. He’s definitely capable of having one of those Stevie Johnson or John Brown type “#1 by default” 1000 yard seasons, but man we don’t want that scenario
  5. I think his numbers will average out to that, but he won’t get there. Coleman’s role will increase as the season progresses and Shakir will get targets. I can see him having 1000 all purpose yards, though.
  6. Oh bad players get traded, we have a history of them on both side of that coin haha I wouldn’t hate Zay, but I think at 29 he will hold out for the right opportunity. He offers nothing on special teams, and I doubt he cracks the Big 4 (Kincaid, Samuel, Shakir, Coleman) here. He can go to Pitt and probably be their top guy.
  7. I get it. Both guys are serviceable #2 receiving options who are probably best as a #3 option at this point in their careers. Yea I’m definitely not benching Shakir for Jones.
  8. Agreed. I respect Jones for the career he carved out, but what skill set does he bring that we don’t already have?
  9. If healthy, he could be the new Isaiah McKenzie #2 slot.
  10. Ehh Jones best season he had 82 catches - 823 yards - 5 TDs - 13 drops - 68% catch rate CD best season he had 77 catches - 851 yards - 3 TD - 5 drops - 79% catch rate They are basically the same guy, just different type. High end #3 passing targets who can be serviceable #2 passing targets for a season.
  11. 2 drops in 2020 2 drops in 2021 13 drops in 2022 with an expanded role. 1 drop in 2023 (short season) At 29, we are looking at WR4 and I’d rather let Hollis/Shorter/Hamler compete for it.
  12. It’s not forced either like some of the guys who drop all the cliche Buffalo catch phrases to get over with the fan base.
  13. KJ Hamler smoke is real. Multiple shout-outs this summer, excited to see him in the preseason. Could he lock down slot depth and KR?
  14. Personality wise he’s a goof ball, just like someone else we know! Future besties?
  15. They can all cover and knife into the backfield too. We love Milano, but I think his succession plan is in full swing. He’ll be 30 in July and only has 3 seasons where he’s started more than 13 games in his career. I don’t know what the future looks like for him if he can’t stay healthy.
  16. His athletic testing was not 😬 Good vision can overcome a lot of that though! Have you been able to find anything on the punter? I can’t find a single scouting report
  17. He did post a 4.62 at his pro day, for what it is worth.
  18. Let me say this: Bills have three 2nd round pick WRs on their roster. Two of them are low-4.3 guys and have never been utilized as a deep threats in the NFL to this point. The best deep threat we’ve had on this roster in some time actually ran a 4.53 40 and weighed 220 pounds.
  19. Hardy did have a 40+ inch vert. Not sure what he has left in the tank, but that lineup would be : FS - Hyde, Edwards, Lewis SS - Bishop, Rapp, Hamlin Otherwise I think we are looking at FS - Bishop, Edwards, Lewis SS - Rapp, Hamlin
  20. Coleman’s 10 yard time was actually faster than Gabe Davis’ as well.
  21. Compare Keon Coleman to Tee Higgins and feel better. Higgins had a slightly faster 40 (4.59 to 4.61) but Coleman had a superior 10 yard split (1.54 vs 1.66). Colemans 1.54 10 yard split was actually in the 68th percentile among all the WRs in the draft. We have multiple burners on this roster, but we have lacked the big, physical WR with some athletic ability for years.
