  1. This is a good point, I said the same thing watching the game.
  2. Bad throw, don’t usually see that from Herbert often.
  3. A point for the Bills and Allen is their offense puts the ball into the end zone more consistently than the Chargers. They pile up yards, but are not as dynamic seemingly in the Red Zone.
  4. Good point, according to this Allen was 62-mph at Combine, Herbert and Mahomes were 55-mph. https://www.ourlads.com/story/default/Quarterback-Ball-Velocity-at-NFL-Combine-2008-2017/10243/dh/ Mahomes can throw it a mile though, look that that throw.
  5. Mahomes vision is the best in the AFC and really only Brady can compare. I disagree on the arm strength, but agree on the running. Herbert actually looks like he’s playing at a lower weight this year.
  6. Herbert is taller than Allen, just as big of an arm. It’s obvious that his strength is standing in the pocket and throwing dart like passes, while occasionally loading up and going deep. Allen plays with more outward emotion, of course is more coordinated as a runner, and despite running 0.10s slower than Herbert in the 40-yard dash, his game speed is faster. Similar in that both are best with protection and able to rifle passes in a straight line.
  7. You haven’t seen it yet, okay. He’s had 4,000+ yards and 30+ TDs passing on 66% passing both years. It’s not hype, but I do agree he needs to make the Playoffs this year and perform. But he’s taller than Allen with just as big of an arm. He does not have the movement and outside playmaking.
  8. When they chose to, the Chargers are running the ball well on Kansas City.
  9. Herbert has already shown great ball placement tonight.
  10. He’s not as coordinated, I agree, and Allen has the mentality of a bull.
  11. Chiefs can’t stop the run. Their coverage has actually been tight, but Herbert is burning them with elite ball placement.
  12. Mahomes is too mobile to blitz. It's too easy for him to move, and his arm is too strong. He flicked one yesterday 30-yards on a rope to Kelce.
  13. I think another reason is because that team can't draft to save their lives. Look at how many early-round resources they pour into the defense, and they have nothing to show for it. They don't draft WRs, RBs, or Tight Ends, and come Playoff time, they can't score. Aaron of course has an ego, but they draft like the 2006-2008 Bills.
  14. I agree, the Safety tandem is getting to the backend of their primes. And we're still scabbing our way at RT, Morse is getting older at Center, and I agree that Edmunds coming back seems like a long shot.
  15. As the Draft went along, he was the last WR graded above a 70. I thought the Bills had waited too long to get a WR. After him there was a massive drop off in grades, so for the Bills to get him in the 5th is good on Beane for seeing the talent dropping, and pouncing on it.
  16. Just the philosophy is beyond outdated. They are going to stand at the podium and say they are honestly trying to win football games in an offensive league, with 4-WRs, running backs you've never heard of, a defensive minded head Coach whose career peaked in 2006. What are the chances that the coaches Lovie Smith pick to build his staff are going to come up with concepts required to score enough points? So Lovie Smith gets his 2-years, and then we fire him and bring in the next guy?
  17. How is that possible? For a team in the NFL to keep (4) WRs and be forced to pick through cuts to add a WR or two? Phillip Dorsett? Guy has bounced around the league as a depth player and he's their #2? The mismanagement is glaring.
  18. Hodgins is slow. He catches 8 balls for 26 yards kind of player. We had that guy once, David Nelson. He's a fringe NFLer who won't separate from corners on Sundays.
  19. By 2003 he was the best Quarterback in the league because of his bullet proof Playoff performance.
  20. The Red Zone output may be unsustainable without Rodgers, and he's quietly almost 30 now. He has always had just-enough speed to separate deep, but he's never been a ypc monster. Do you see more 1,100 - 1,200 yards now, a few more injuries now with the Raiders?
