AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at Chiefs
Buffalo Ballin replied to BillsFan619's topic in The Stadium Wall
Kansas City isn't really a hot spot for tourists lol. We'll see this Sunday regarding success. Josh Allen is in his prime, too. They have another 2.5 days to get their best shots in. That's all they got? For some reason, I'm extremely confident with this version of Josh Allen and James Cook. Cook really took a giant step this year. I'm shocked that he rushed for 67 yards vs. Baltimore Ravens. I thought he would be lucky to get 35 yards with the way the media was hyping up Ravens. Baltimore was the number one rush defense, weren't they? -
AFC Championship Game Week Thread - Bills at Chiefs

At this point before the AFC Championship Game, most media people, especially ESPN's First Things First, and perhaps Cam Newton, are crapping on Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen. That's what we're noticing. There are some praise here and there. Not a lot though, but we're the Under Dog so the disrespect is expected. Here are the run down on ESPN's First Things First: - Praising Patrick Mahomes while beating down Josh Allen - Discusses Mahomes' legacy if he 3-Peat claiming that he's the 2nd best QB of all time. Josh Allen cannot be the best QB without hardware to back up his case - This came off as a diss to Mahomes: How can he be the best QB of All Time when he didn't make Pro Bowl, and All Pro, right now in his prime? Then all of that is swept under the rug with the grand ol' "IT'S ALL ABOUT WINNING. Mahomes has the hardware." - Can Buffalo Bills and Josh Allen become this juggernaut team to beat Lamar Jackson AND Patrick Mahomes in their primes? - Washington Commander QB Jayden Daniels is brought up out of nowhere. If he leads Washington to a SB victory then he's the best. - RB James Cook is not mentioned. Not even once. RB Isiah Pacheco was actually mentioned once. - If Josh Allen wins League MVP, why is his stats this year so low? They didn't account for the explosion of James Cook and no true number one WR. Again, they comin' at us with the disrespect. How is this different from Dion Dawkins' "Former Champs" remark? Dion Dawkins remark was just ONE remark. They been talking trash (backhanded compliments) and all FOR YEARS ad nauseam ever since 13 Seconds. Things will be different this Sunday night. -

We're here to UNJINX Dion Dawkins' recent statement referring to the Chiefs as the "Former Champs." They're still the Champs until a different team knocks them out. So please Dion, keep your mouth shut. There. We unjinx'd it. -
Nah we good, fam. Good luck to Khalil Mack where ever he goes.

NICE. Now that this is out there in the Universe, me thinks things gonna be different this Sunday night. What a massive jinx. -
We need Taron Johnson in there. He was an All Pro in 2023. Of course, we want Taron in the game. We have injuries to S Taylor Rapp and CB Christian Benford. Now is not the time to claim who is a liability. We need everyone in the game vs. Kansas City.

Personally, this Ravens matchup is my "McDermott Game."
Buffalo Ballin replied to Rigotz's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nah, OP. Bro. Bro dude. Bro dawg. It's the AFC Title game vs Kansas City. That's the statement game for McDermott. -
No disrespect to Baltimore Ravens and Ravens Flock, but Buffalo Bills supposed to blow them out. 4 things happened, in favor of Ravens, to keep this game close: - Phantom hold call on a crucial 3rd and long where Buffalo converted to 1st down. This killed momentum on that drive. Josh Allen was building rhythm and this phantom hold killed his rhythm. - Joe Brady getting cute to go shotgun on goal line. That was stupid and bizarre. That should have been a touchdown for us. Do the "Tush Push." How difficult was that? - Kincaid's (or maybe Knox) drop. That's supposed to be a catch to keep the drive going. - That doink and dink to Knox, or Kincaid, on 3rd and long. Again, what kind of play calling was that??? That killed the drive. If 3 out of the 4 did not occur, Buffalo is blowing the Ravens out of the building.

BRING THEM ON HERE! We're asking for more, sir! Here we come! Y'all can't hide. Bring all the trash talking. Hit us with your best shot! We already taken down: - Detroit Lions - Denver Broncos - Baltimore Ravens (vs. League MVP Lamar Jackson and 1st Ballot HOF RB 2000 yard Derrick Henry) - Kansas City Chiefs (when they were undefeated) Can we beat them IN THE PLAYOFFS? It's time to show it. It's OUR time. The time is now. Next Sunday night.
-
Not trying to get into argument, but we just don't know the future. Look at what happened JUST now with the Detroit Lions fan base and their media. They kept talking "Super Bowl bound" "Super Bowl destiny" which made them over look Washington Commanders. And they deserved to get their butts handed to them last night.
-
Not happening. Let's not over look this Sunday's game vs. Baltimore Ravens.
-
Time and time again... In big moments. In big games. Josh Allen elevates his game. We have a large games sample. Allen becomes The Michael Jordan of NFL QBs. Lamar Jackson? Not so much. Oh by the way, it's now snowing in Buffalo. It will snow on Sunday night. Advantage: Buffalo

A 3rd consecutive Divisional Round home loss? No chance
Buffalo Ballin replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
We're here to reverse jinx the OP. Why so cocky? We CAN be beaten. "Any Given Sunday" any team can be beat and doesn't matter the field the game takes place on. Yes, we have home field advantage. That's great. And that's huge. Again, we've been beaten at home before. Remember the 1 loss Patriots with Tom Brady? They were so cocky before the Super Bowl. What happened? Eli Manning and the Giants beat them. -
There it is. Most of them don't understand that what happened in the past, stays in the past. Doesn't reflect the current.
-
To beat the Ravens, this task takes the entire team. Not just 3 guys. Not just 1 guy with double digit sacks. We took a beating from them early in the regular season. We got a lesson. The playoff game on Sunday will be drastically different.
-
It's a perfect storm of "personal" reasons entering this playoff game vs. Baltimore Ravens. - The narrative and media shifted to Lamar Jackson getting his 3rd league NFL MVP. And that's fine. But the media claiming that Lamar is NOT getting recognized for his great play this year...is BS. That's all it is. BS. His previous 2 league NFL MVP awards weren't enough for recognition? Wow. OK. Cool. Give the guy his 3rd NFL MVP then. - James Cook being omitted. - Our run D being called out. That's fine. Keep calling them out. - We got our butts handed earlier in the season by them. We got to get our revenge. What's being swept under the rug (and media should keep it that way): - Baltimore Ravens defense isn't good. At times, they're pretty bad. - Josh Allen should have a good time against this pass defense. - Where is this game played at? OUR place. Yeah, our field. Media forgot to mention that. That's a big f'n deal. - Bills O-line did a great job of protecting Josh Allen, and creating paths for James Cook, all season. - Josh Allen barely throwing any picks all season.

Another disaster by McDs defense in the playoffs
Buffalo Ballin replied to RoscoeParrish's topic in The Stadium Wall
Rather have the Josh Allen of today.
