  1. Injuries are apart of the game but if A.J Green was playing, I have a feeling it'd be a different outcome
  2. So would you bring back Mickey next year? I have to give him some credit for the second half of the year. I mean the morale was LOW after that one Sunday game against the Cubs and then being swept 4 in a row by the Phillies after that or shortly after. HIs in game decision making isn't exactly his strength and we will most likely miss the playoffs. I guess because I like the guy I'd say yes. Like a playoffs or bust for him next year
  3. Well he's been quiet the second half of the season. Brodie that is. Any correlation as to why they've been playing better ?
  4. Agree though I have the fear Brodie is going to try to make some "sexy" moves this offseason for the sake of attention. I mean we ended last year with a real strong 2nd half as well only for him to trade for Cano among other stuff
  5. You're a funny guy. All good though I liked your story.
  6. I remember watching the pre-season game with the Lions. On the "interception" Josh threw one of the Lions got called for imo a B.S. roughing the passer penalty for lightly pushing him after throwing the ball. My first thought after that was: Brady is getting older so there's more and more rules to protect the QB. I mean I know as a Bills fan it's easy for me to be jaded/skewed/etc... But the article the OP posted shows I'm not crazy!! Well when it comes to football anyway ? And props to McMillian for speaking up
  7. Uggh! I think we all sort of saw this day coming though: The bullpen would blow a game that would sort of put the dagger in the heart. Lugo was probably the most solid reliever this year but I still didn't have a lot of faith in him in a big spot like today. I still expect they'll battle these remaining eight games though.
  8. My opinion on this is very unofficial but I think they have the most fans of their team that aren't alumni. I've never really despised the school but certainly aren't a fan by any stretch of the imagination. I'm the kind of guy that thinks the Rudy movie is a bit sappy. I'm just curious as to what the appeal is. My mom had an uncle who was just about 100% in Irish ancestry and I know he was a big fan with no ties at all to the midwest. I'm thinking the term Fighting Irish probably had a lot to do with it. Or maybe it's a Catholic thing as well?
  9. Yes kudos to Pete. I don't believe I'm biased as a Mets fan when I say I would take him over any member of the Yankees ?
  10. I think there's a real chance the Jets playoff drought goes over 17 years. Presently at 8 years and most likely will be 9 years with no relief in sight for them
  11. I've never heard a song of his I didn't like. if I had to choose a favorite it'd probably be this one:
  12. When I was a 8 I wrote Jim Kelly a letter saying even though he just lost in the Super Bowl how awesome it was he made it there anyway. I didn't hear back either. My mom was then happy the Cowboys won the next two Super Bowls ? So yes all these years later now I don't feel so bad being he didn't reply to the "biggest Bills fan" as well. Kidding aside who knows what Jim had on his plate or how much he knew about Ezra. It won't keep me up at night
  13. Bills beat the Bengals in 2016. Not good years for both teams though
  14. Are you talking about 2005? The Bills beat them in 2016 in Cinci but the Bengals weren’t that good that year. Either way good point. Look at last years first win against the Vikings on the road when the Bills were 0-2. Something like 17 point underdogs versus the Vikings
  15. When other fans hear Bills Mafia they tend to just think of the slamming tables, humping girls in public, fans lighting themselves on fire, etc... So of course there’d probably be some who’d want it ?
  16. Well the season's on life support now.
  17. I merely ask that question as I'm curious if the Andy Dalton/Bengals love has just about died out from almost two years ago. I mean I'm paraphrasing but the night the drought was broken many posters here proclaimed they would be eternally grateful to the Bengals. Certainly last year at the preseason game between the Bengals the love was still evident. Two years later though in a regular season game though? I'm thinking a lot of the love died out for a team for the most part fans didn't have a strong opinion one way or another. I'm not sure about this year but if things keep progressing the way they are, we certainly won't need others teams help like that to make the playoffs!
  18. I’m actually a little anxious about this game because of how confident I am. Still can’t look past any opponent
  19. Maybe there’s a Dolphins and or Jets fan out there willing to take one for the team..... putting 5k on them that they’ll lose
  20. Well the Debbie Downer in me recalls 2011 starting 3-0, finally beating the Patriots and then what happened the rest of that year. That being said I like this teams foundation. Would certainly feel reasonable at that point
  21. I mean there was winning against the Lions in 2014 and then having a "home game" in Detroit after the snowstorm where we won as well. I guess maybe circumstances like that it's possible? Though the second game was a "home game"
  22. R.I.P. I want to say they just finally made the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The Cars were a good group. Their music was fun
  23. And where are all these "cool people" now? Lol I'm from NJ and people generally know of Niagara Falls but little else in that WNY area. Probably not the types of people for the most part that would appreciate it anyway
  24. McDermott had a good game plan and coached a good game.
