  1. I'm Catholic but the Church has so many skeletons in their closet for me to really take them serious when it comes to these matters. Anyway maybe once the Church starts paying taxes they can have a political opinion.... division of Church and State
  2. I can't help but feel this thread/topic would be way way more popular if not for Beasley's comments. As for as the stadium I'd still like to see it in OP. Keep some of it's old school football charms while upgrading technologically for the 2020's
  3. He was my favorite Bill until now. Screw him. It’s like a hex I put on my favorite Bills. Kiko Alonso was in 2013
  4. Well I was a Knicks fan growing up so the Bulls were the nemesis in those days 😂 But yeah I did appreciate those days in those retrospect. Never had the same interest in the NBA once Michael retired. Those teams were always um a careful who you root against for me as well! Yeah I was never a fan and liked seeming them win but I always would brag to Tom Brady fans Michael has more rings and is better. It actually made me ill to think now he has more rings than Michael. It was honestly among one of many reasons that was the first Super Bowl I did not watch a second of... and don't regret it. It's actually interesting I'm not sure Chicago would have beaten Houston in 94 and 95. Houston was the one team that did actually match up very well in that time span against the Bulls. From 1990-1998 they went 8-8 against each other in the regular seasons but Houston won 4 games in a row against them from 1992 to 1993. I think the combination of a big man in Hakeem and very good guard play gave the Bulls all they can handle back in the day. I mean yeah Michael and crew would have probably found a way but far from a lock those years
  5. Andre Reed 15 years as well. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/R/ReedAn00.htm I googled a lot of names that came to mind like Moorman, Talley, Kelly, Tasker, Thurman, Joe Ferguson. seemed 11 years for most of them was the cut off.
  6. I agree. I thought 2013-2014 brought the team back to a certain amount of respectability enough so Rex Ryan wanted to come here. I know I know train reck but he was a high profile coach at the time. The team was still 15-16 under him.
  7. This might be one of my favorite Bills losses. Yeah I know that sounds a little strange to say. But I had the team absolutely left for dead that day and then the team converted on a 4th and 15 too Chandler for a TD. Then Thad put together a last minute drive to tie it up. I remember one exciting play I think he avoided a sack and found Chandler again for like a 30 yard gain. Kinda stunk though in OT Cincy was able to pin the Bills with field position then force a 3 and out 🙁
  8. I still recall one of those weeks Doug Marrone got asked who the quarterback would be and he said 100% it'll be E.J. Liar. lol
  9. People that need to speak (usually negatively) about others in order to prop themselves up
  10. I hate it when posters respond with movie clips thinking they're funny 😉
  11. Whenever I swallow something that goes down the wrong way! It's like the next 10 minutes are spent coughing and trying to catch my breathe 😁 Our elected government officials from both parties who care more about pandering/recognition/looking good than actually giving a damn about helping disenfranchised people and listening to different points of view.
  12. I can’t comment at all on his Bears days but some people just need changes of scenery more than anything. Hopefully this proves best for him
  13. I’d still contend during the playoffs (especially the Chiefs game) the moments still look too big for him. Not something he can’t overcome.
  14. I was impressed with Sean his first year for sure but still not necessarily sold. If I recall the division was weak that year and the team finally got some breaks in order to squeak into the playoffs. Long overdue. In reality the last game of 2018 against Miami is when I started to really believe in what he was going for. It said a lot too me the team was still growing and trying hard until the bitter end. Yes I know we’ve seen the Bills win numerous meaningless week 17 games before but that week felt different. For one thing Josh had his best game of the season that day... not enough to completely sell me on him but enough for me to feel comfortable with him going forward. There was a lot of debacles that year and growing up done as well. But hey growing up typically ain’t easy and full of growing pains.
  15. Kind of off topic but this was the first walk off home run I ever remember watching. Even as a Met fan it was exciting to watch live (well as a little kid). Was 30 years ago already this weekend. Supposedly the birth place of the Yankees Win call? Still an exciting memory. Kind of shame Mel turned into such a scumbag
  16. I never cared for his overly ripped/muscular build. Imo injuries like that are more likely because the muscles aren’t as flexible. Especially pitching a baseball
  17. Weekend at Bernies 2 and Mannequin 2. Both were like really really bad ideas Honorable mention to Creed 2. That felt like a pure cash grab imo
  18. Thurman Thomas fumble in Super Bowl 28 to start the 2nd half where the Cowboys recovered for the touchdown. That whole game went to the crapper right after that where the Bills were reasonably in control before that. All the demons of the past Super Bowls came right out and strangled the team that 2nd half. I mean 🤮🤮🤮
  19. I kind of think asking Buffalo Bills fans if they watched a Bon Jovi concert is about equivalent to asking a vegan how they like their steak done
  20. Haha, I'm guessing by your avatar you're still a fan? But I definitely agree with your sentiments. Tyrod wasn't a guy picked in the first round expected to kill it in the NFL or even in the first five rounds. He was a 6th round pick. Even him winning the Bills starting position was kind of an uphill battle if I remember right. I mean he was a backup in Baltimore for 4 years prior. I think a good amount of Bills fans and I include myself here love these kinds of stories. Especially when I saw all the early explosive running abilities he had. But similarly to Fitz because fans love these kinds of stories we sometimes make these guys more than they really are and become frustrated rather easily. Well maybe I'm only speaking for myself there? Regardless I think Fitz and Tyrod did all right for themselves career wise. Solid guys/professional attitude/good bridge QB's. I think they are very similar in that regard.
  21. He struck me as very very passive aggressive in retrospect
  22. I guess Campbell could say “his process” will eat you alive
  23. Well how many guys named William played for Buffalo yet we called all the players a Bill? 😝
  24. Agreed. Some people my back hurts just watching them struggle Sorry that sucks. The problem is my mind feels sharper than 10 years ago. My body doesn’t though ☹️
  25. One of the more infamous memories I have of the board was the time the Bills were 17 point underdogs against Minnesota and wound up winning. I think Josh’s first road win? And of course that poster who claimed to have bet 5k against Buffalo that day
