I respectfully wouldn’t consider him a bust yet. Not a large enough body of work yet. Not saying he isn’t a bust, it just may be an issue with scheme above anything else. Between the lack of field experience, and the transition to a zone defense, I would still say TBD on that.

Reading through these responses, it has come to my attention that I don’t use the word “quibble” enough. Quibble is fun to say. Quibble is less abrasive than using “issue” or “gripe”. Therefore, I think beane also deserves credit for the creation of this thread, and thus opening my eyes to my lack of use of quibble in everyday conversation. thanks Beane!

Glad we were able to grind that out. Coaches did their thing in this one despite what many want to complain about. Player execution was the issue this time around. A lot to clean up. But grinding out a trap game and coming away with the win is nice for a change

Was interested to see how the 2021-22 season stacked up to this one in terms of record. That was another interesting year before the bills turned on the afterburners at the end of the year and make it to the afc championship. Through week 11 we were 6-4. Thereafter we went 1-2 to make it 7-6 before we won out all the way to the championship. obviously records are not an indication of anything other than wins and losses, but this team has done it in the past and CAN do it again. Although the hill is harder to climb this time around, a Josh Allen led team getting hot at the right time can easily start stacking wins. Let’s start today. Go Bills!!

Been pretty vocal about him. Really like his game. Considering he’s only had a few starts, and the majority of those have been sharing time, he has shown some nice upside. Like any rookie, he’s not going to be perfect out of the box. He needs Reps and coaching. Those saying he’s not good enough maybe should give him a second to grow. He’s fast and hits hard as hell. If he’s coached up and the game starts to slow down for him, he’ll be a good one.
