  1. This girl was allegedly assaulted in 1993 31 years ago. She never spoke up during Trump business success in the late 90's and 2000's, his time as a famous reality TV show personality in the 2000's, his initial Presidential run, his first four year term, the chaotic aftermath of the 2020 election, the most recent primaries, Trump's court trials or 99 percent of the 2024 election race, but now 12 days before the election suddenly decides that now is the right time? I do not want to minimize instances of sexual harassment, but there is no way that someone cannot objectively look at this accusation and not question the timing. Democrats seem to be getting desperate. Harris's inability to be articulate, even in environments favorable to her such as the View and Oprah is catching up to her.
  2. The last second sexual allegation out of the woodwork. Big shocker. One of the more common plays in the democrat playbook. Anyone who thinks that this is relevant already hates Trump and wasn't going to vote for him anyway. Anyone who is undecided at this point is going to see right through this. This will turn off more voters to Harris than it gives her. Big non-story.
  3. To me, Cooper is a high end #2 or low end #1 receiver. Not in the top ten, but well into the top 32. Cooper was a star caliber WR on the Raiders, but traded to Dallas when Oakland was rebuilding. In Dallas, he was good but not great. When Lamb emerged, they didn't want his 20 million in the cap. Cooper did well in Cleveland when Flacco was played, but didn't click with Watson(does anyone?) He is a clear upgrade over what we had and has never played with a QB at the caliber of Allen before. If he can get past his drops, he may have a breakout year.
  4. I noticed this in the Titans and Cardinals games, a listless start followed by a very strong finish. A glass half full way of looking at it is that the team is making the right adjustments and then blowing them out of the water. This is a contrast to the past where Buffalo would start strong against weak teams and let them hang around too long or almost catch up. To me, that is a sign of improved coaching making the right adjustments in the game. We have been begging for this for years. With the glaring exception of the Texans game, McDermott has done a better job of in game management so far.
  5. Extremely listless effort. We are at home against a depleted bottom feeder team and looking like we are going to get blown out.
  6. I think that the NFL is worse for traditional fans, but more appealing to the casual and non football fans. To me, it is harder to watch each year. When I was younger, I wouldn't miss NFL football for the world, every Sunday from beginning to end, even it if was a boring game. Now unless it is the Bills or Red Zone I can't sit through an entire game. -I am tired of the 2 hours of commercials in a 4 hour broadcast -I am tired of the officials, It is annoying to have 15-20 flags a game. It sucks waiting fifteen seconds after every big play for the flag that might call it back. I am sick of the commercial break and five minute analysis after a close call followed by the "expert" ref from New York explaining what obscure rule caused the ref to make a subjective call -I am tired of the disproportionate amount of gambling ads that do just enough to make you wonder if there is something to the conspiracy theory of the NFL being rigged. -I am tired of the announcers brown nosing the media darling teams and focusing on which celebrities are in the skybox -I am tired of seeing unnecessary roughness penalties for what used to be routine smash mouth football -I am tired of the NFL seeming to have the goal of putting as many games on as many streaming networks and in as many countries as possible in a season. I want games on Sunday and Monday. I do not need to see a Titans vs Bengals game live from Portugal Wednesday at 3:30 PM exclusively on the Magnolia network. Goodell has made this league more about profit and entertainment than sport.
  7. Given the cap situation, it was not a bad gamble. We were counting on some of them to compliment Shakir and Coleman. It was just terrible luck that not one person out of the group stepped up as options. Samuel and MVS were busts. Hollins is the best of the bunch, which is sad because he is still playing like a 5th WR. Shavers, Shorter and the UDFA's didn't turn out to be hidden gems, Hamler, and Cephus showed why they were not on rosters at the end of last year and Claypool was actually showing a little promise, but got hurt.
  8. I am not sure if Cooper is still a #1 caliber WR, but if he can create more than six inches of separation and have a pulse, he is an instant upgrade over Curtis Samuel.
  9. Gabe Davis with a red zone touchdown? Am I in the right universe?
  10. Most of us had tempered expectations to start, but the 3-0 start had people excited again. I think the start had mostly to do with catching the Dolphins and Jags at their worst possible times. This team is a lot like the Squads from 2014-2019. Good enough to beat the bad teams and maybe even make the playoffs, but not a serious enough contender to be a Super Bowl threat and likely to lose most games against the top 10 teams. I see 8 to 10 wins as being realistic. Hopefully this is just a quick rebuild and a stronger second run in Josh Allen's career is ahead.
  11. They lost because around the beginning of the 4th quarter, I had a sudden gut feeling and calm reassurance that they would find a way to pull the game off. Things seems to always go opposite of what I expect in those situations. I apologize to everyone, and will try to be more pessimistic next time.
  12. I think that they get in the playoffs, only because the rest of the AFC east is atrocious and eight or nine wins might be enough. Make no mistake though, this is a rebuilding year. This team is like the squads from 2014-2018 where they will beat up on mediocre teams but crumble against the top ones.
  13. I was one that thought the low risk, grab a few low key options and see who steps up strategy might work, but I see today that it hasn't. I understand the risk since we needed to clear cap space, but they took the risk on the wrong players and it didn't work out. Hollins will never be more than a #4 WR and Samuel is invisible. Buffalo needs to trade for a WR and comb the practice squad for someone who better fits the system. Samuel and Hollins are Sherfield and Harty 2.0. Outside of Shakir and Coleman at WR, everyone is immediately replaceable.
  14. If we wanted a chronic whiner, we would have kept Diggs who was at least more talented.
  15. "The Bills failed Josh Allen? Do the Bills have to go to summer Josh?"
  16. Hopefully, but I would like to see him get cut by the Rams and signed cheaply by us before that epic turnaround.
  17. It sucks getting rid of popular players, but so far the numbers show that it was the right choice. Age and injuries caught up to White and you could see a decline in Poyer last year. Just because our current safeties are not playing ideally does not mean that Poyer would have done any better.
  18. I figured that Allen would spread the a ball around like he did after Dorsey last year and that the WR's would do just fine, but I expected there to be a little bit of a learning curve to start the season. I guess if you count the first half of week 1, maybe those two quarters were it. The offensive line has been the pleasant surprise on the offensive side of the ball. I haven't really seen Allen get pressured and the running game is effective. Probably the best line that I can remember since the first two Super Bowl years in 1990 and 1991.
  19. Buffalo put themselves in that position by never drafting at QB until they absolutely had to. Granted, 2010 to 2015 was a rough stretch for QB draft classes, with 2012 being the only decent year, but by 2012, it was clear that Fitz was average at best. We could have drafted Russell Wilson or Kirk Cousins in the mid-rounds, but instead, we traded up for T.J. Graham, who was nowhere close to being an NFL-caliber WR. By the time 2013 came around, there was no QB on the roster after we moved on from Fitz, and we pretty much had to draft a QB. It did not help that the 2013 QB class may be one of the worst ever. Your best options that year were Geno Smith, who was seen as a bust until he resurrected his career two years ago, and Matt Barkley, who we all love but was never more than a backup. Buffalo definitely could have got a QB later, but their strategy was sound. They traded down once, and the rest of that draft was one of their better ones in the drought era. That year, Robert Woods, Kiko Alonso(Got us LeSean McCoy), Marquise Goodwin, and Dustin Hopkins were also picked. I never blamed EJ Manuel, it was just the the perfect storm of bad timing and terrible decision making in previous years.
  20. Nope not here. I invest a bit and do not mind the occasional calculated risk, but there has to be some type of upside and common sense when you choose what to invest in.
  21. I'm not far right. I am in the center. I try to only get my news from stations that are the same. Allsides is a good resource to differentiate between networks that are truly in the Center such as News Nation or the Hill and left leaning networks who lie about being Neutral like CNN. I used it to expose your source as left leaning. Not sure why you were referencing that, but anyway..... I am sorry that it blows your mind that not only MAGA's see through the BS of the mainstream media and the far left M-A-R-X-I-S-T-S! Yes, that's right. I am referring to the extreme politicians on the left as Marxist. Who cares if no politician explicitly calls themselves Marxists(of course they won't if they value their jobs.) some of the beliefs of the extreme ones line up with it. That's where you were trying to passively aggressively redirect to, yesterday wasn't it?. Oooooh you sure would have gotten me there. Hope you enjoyed your golfing today.
  22. Great catch. Love how they assume that their propaganda laden fact checks are final word. https://www.allsides.com/news-source/atlanta-journal-constitution
  23. Again, what i said was clear. I meant that 01/06 to the Dems is what the Reichstag fires were to the Nazi's. You have a right to disagree with me, but you are not going to trip me up, change my mind or make me rethink my statement. I meant what I said. You are trying to come off as some type of expert, but I see right through it. Book smarts means nothing if you are not able to carry on a basic conversation without overthinking and getting bogged down in semantics to the point where it is impossible for you to stay focused on the subject. Yesterday was fun, but I think I will move on, have a good day.
  24. If you thought that I was calling the entire left Marxist, that is a you issue with reading comprehension. I can't help you with that. I explained Jan 6th and the Reichstag fires twice and I do not acknowledge your redirect because it was not relevant to the conversation. What part of "Jan 6th is to the Democrats what the Reichstag fires are to the Nazi's" was not clear? If you need more context, Google is your friend. My point was clear.
  25. It isn't, both sides do it. I am not a MAGA, I just hate the far left and the media a little more. Jan 6th was bad, but it is no worse that Chaz, the BLM Riots, the two assassination attempts, and the attacks on Pro Life health center by Jane's revenge terrorists after Roe V Wade was overturned. It was a protest gone wrong with some extremists taking advantage of that. At no point what there an actual threat for an insurrection. What Trump said before the riots on Jan 6th is not different than what comments that Schumer and Biden said before Trump's first assassination attempt. The only difference is in how the media spins it.
