  1. This pictures summarizes any Dolphin talking trash about Buffalo before we play them and own them as usual.
  2. Like most Bills fans, I do not like Brady. However, this is a big nothing burger. Movin on and ahead.
  3. The funny thing about this election is that Trump was very beatable but Harris spent the last months following the what not to do playbook. Trump for better or worse was consistent with his message, Harris tried to blend in with what she thought the audience or voters immediately in front of her wanted to hear. Neither did a great job of catering to people outside of their fanbase, but Trump started to do this recently with the Rogan interview and a few other sit down interview in different networks. Trump went on Rogan who would have torn into him mercilessly if he came off poorly and did well enough to win people over. Harris did softball interviews with people favoring her such as the View or Oprah and even tried their patience by doing word salad dances instead of giving straight answers. Trump looks relaxed and like he is having fun out there, Harris comes off as nervous and overwhelmed and speaking in a scared wavering tone in most recent interviews. The people in the middle who may not like either candidate are seeing this. Harris lost a five point lead nationally and a majority of polls in the swing states are in favor of Trump. Only one of them had their boss call the other side garbage, try to guess who. The writing appears to be on the wall.
  4. There were two controversial statements made. One from a comedian at a convention, one by a president in his office. Both statements were wrong, but a shock comedian saying a joke about an island is nowhere near as inappropriate as a sitting President calling the entirety of a voting party trash. Biden cost Harris the election with that comment. The only question is whether or not it was accidental or a passive aggressive way of getting back at Harris for being forced to stop his reelection campaign. Edit: When the resident TDS Bills fans react with childish downvotes but don't comment, I know that I have made a good point that they have no way of refuting.
  5. Mario had a much bigger impact on the team. He was a big part of some pretty decent defenses including the 2014 defense which almost singlehandedly got us into the playoffs with Kyle Orton as quarterback. It wasn't his fault that that Buffalo gave up on Fitz in 2012 with no other viable option on the roster and forced our own hand into drafting a QB in what might be the worst QB draft class of all time. Miller was a signing intended to be that last piece to boost Buffalo from playoff contender to Superbowl contender. The injury has obviously made this signing a let down, but he was starting to look good again before the suspension. I agree with the general consensus that Williams is easily the more impactful signing unless Buffalo wins a Super Bowl while Miller is having a Pro Bowl caliber year
  6. These refs not only are flag happy, but can't even articulate what they call without a conference. What a joke.
  7. Refs are way too flag happy. We want to see the players, not them.
  8. Michelle Obama in a speech today stated the she does not understand why the polls are at a tie. This is exactly why Harris will not win. She is not coming off well and the party platform is no longer resonating with people. To make things worse for them, the party is tone deaf to it. Obama's comment today proves that. Harris had the momentum after their last debate and all she had to do was articulate what she stood for. She failed to do that. Trump on the other hand adjusted his strategy and reached out to people outside of his fan base. The fact that Trump is winning after everything speaks volumes about how bad of a candidate that Harris actually is.
  9. I would be on board with stashing him on the practice squad. In addition to being a mentor, he could take a few weeks to recover and possibly be available and in better form later in the season.
  10. Get out of here, and get a life. You Never Trumpers have used the same divisive crap for eight years. Russia, "MAGA, Orange man bad, 01/06, blah blah blah!" Who cares? It is a tired act. Never Trumpers to me are even more tone deaf and extreme than MAGAs. Stop already, in case you didn't notice, this country is falling apart at the seams. Instead, the left needs to focus on Harris articulating what she plans to do as President to change things or explain why she shifted more moderate for this race when she has been historically far left. Empty platitudes and word salads wont cut it and the changes in the polls over the last few weeks are showing that. Even left friendly platforms like the View and NBCNews are losing patience with her. If you reply, please do so with your own thoughts instead of a mainstream media recap and try not to to resort to cheap childish insults.
  11. This whole "breaking news" on Musk is a sad and desperate grasping at straws from the far left and media who knows that Harris is costing her self more votes by the day. We have all heard "what is wrong with the other side" for eight years and are sick of it. Maybe if Harris would give a straight answer on her policies instead of dancing around in word salads, they wouldn't need so many Octobers surprises that reek of desperation.
  12. Hopkins is on the downside of his career and is more of a veteran starter than a difference making number one at this point. A more even debate would be Amari Cooper vs Davante Adams. I do not ever remember two division rivals making such a prominent trade for the same position within about two hours of each other.
  13. "cause the news says he's bad and..........Jan 6th!!!!!!" Don't get me wrong, I don't care for Trump and wish that it had been another candidate. If Haley, Vivek, or DeSantis were running against Harris, it would be a landslide. It is just sad to see how much Never-Trumpers have made their hatred of him a religion. They are at least as obnoxious as the stereotypical red hat MAGA and get a lot more air time because of mainstream media coverage and social media guidelines.
  14. I'll bet that most of the people who call Trump a Fascist could not give you an accurate definition of the term without a google search. It's is amazing how much the media can condition people to believe any narrative that they want. Is Trump an egomaniac who often puts his foot in his mouth? Yes. Is he a fascist or "threat to democracy"? Nope.
  15. This perfectly sums up the sentiment of this election and tells me why things will be chaotic for awhile in a couple of weeks. People voted against someone instead of for someone this time around. That is not a recipe for a peaceful post election.
  16. Fair point. My use of it represents more of a sentiment against the establishment than a historical populist such as Huey Long. From the Great Recession to the mid part of last decade, people were sick of the Bush/Clinton/Romney types and looking for something different. Ron Paul had huge momentum before 2012 until Romney and the elite worked together to stamp that out. Trump and Sanders had a lot of momentum before 2016, but the difference in success was the Democrat's use of superdelegates to say "Too bad, we are picking Hillary anyway". I was looking forward to seeing the establishment toppled and wished that it had been anyone else but Trump, but when he won, I was glad to see an end to the whole Recycling Clintons and Bushes movement. Some of this sentiment went away after the chaos of the 2020 election, but it is still strong. What people still do not like is a tone deaf administration and Biden and Harris has been this to many. I wish there were better choices. If any Republican besides Trump ran, Harris would be down 15-20 point. If the democrats had picked someone other than Harris after Biden stepped down, Trump would be down 15-20 points. I really hope that both parties do better next time around.
  17. This election is more about populist vs. establishment than Democrat vs. Republican or Conservative vs. Liberal. If you look at the people who defected from each party and are voting opposite, you will see that pattern. During the last election, when people were isolated in their homes, the media did a great job of conditioning people to believe what they said without question, even if there was chaos around them. However, three years of people seeing crime, inflation and employment issues around them while the media touts a much different rosy picture can take it's toll. If Trump wins, it will be because the democrats and Harris came off as tone deaf and out of touch. Harris has had plenty of time to sell her brand and has failed to do so numerous times. Even the media is no longer giving Harris unquestioned loyalty anymore at this point and she is losing momentum. Regardless of who wins, I could see a little bit of an uprising and chaos from the other side. Most people are voting against a candidate instead of for one. The media on both sides along with politicians have pushed for years why the other side is a "threat to democracy" or "ticket to communism". People are taking that to heart and will feel threatened if the candidate that they voted against gets in. I do not see it escalating to a full blown civil war, but I could see it turning into extended violence and protesting in some cities.
  18. This girl was allegedly assaulted in 1993 31 years ago. She never spoke up during Trump business success in the late 90's and 2000's, his time as a famous reality TV show personality in the 2000's, his initial Presidential run, his first four year term, the chaotic aftermath of the 2020 election, the most recent primaries, Trump's court trials or 99 percent of the 2024 election race, but now 12 days before the election suddenly decides that now is the right time? I do not want to minimize instances of sexual harassment, but there is no way that someone cannot objectively look at this accusation and not question the timing. Democrats seem to be getting desperate. Harris's inability to be articulate, even in environments favorable to her such as the View and Oprah is catching up to her.
  19. The last second sexual allegation out of the woodwork. Big shocker. One of the more common plays in the democrat playbook. Anyone who thinks that this is relevant already hates Trump and wasn't going to vote for him anyway. Anyone who is undecided at this point is going to see right through this. This will turn off more voters to Harris than it gives her. Big non-story.
  20. To me, Cooper is a high end #2 or low end #1 receiver. Not in the top ten, but well into the top 32. Cooper was a star caliber WR on the Raiders, but traded to Dallas when Oakland was rebuilding. In Dallas, he was good but not great. When Lamb emerged, they didn't want his 20 million in the cap. Cooper did well in Cleveland when Flacco was played, but didn't click with Watson(does anyone?) He is a clear upgrade over what we had and has never played with a QB at the caliber of Allen before. If he can get past his drops, he may have a breakout year.
  21. I noticed this in the Titans and Cardinals games, a listless start followed by a very strong finish. A glass half full way of looking at it is that the team is making the right adjustments and then blowing them out of the water. This is a contrast to the past where Buffalo would start strong against weak teams and let them hang around too long or almost catch up. To me, that is a sign of improved coaching making the right adjustments in the game. We have been begging for this for years. With the glaring exception of the Texans game, McDermott has done a better job of in game management so far.
  22. Extremely listless effort. We are at home against a depleted bottom feeder team and looking like we are going to get blown out.
  23. I think that the NFL is worse for traditional fans, but more appealing to the casual and non football fans. To me, it is harder to watch each year. When I was younger, I wouldn't miss NFL football for the world, every Sunday from beginning to end, even it if was a boring game. Now unless it is the Bills or Red Zone I can't sit through an entire game. -I am tired of the 2 hours of commercials in a 4 hour broadcast -I am tired of the officials, It is annoying to have 15-20 flags a game. It sucks waiting fifteen seconds after every big play for the flag that might call it back. I am sick of the commercial break and five minute analysis after a close call followed by the "expert" ref from New York explaining what obscure rule caused the ref to make a subjective call -I am tired of the disproportionate amount of gambling ads that do just enough to make you wonder if there is something to the conspiracy theory of the NFL being rigged. -I am tired of the announcers brown nosing the media darling teams and focusing on which celebrities are in the skybox -I am tired of seeing unnecessary roughness penalties for what used to be routine smash mouth football -I am tired of the NFL seeming to have the goal of putting as many games on as many streaming networks and in as many countries as possible in a season. I want games on Sunday and Monday. I do not need to see a Titans vs Bengals game live from Portugal Wednesday at 3:30 PM exclusively on the Magnolia network. Goodell has made this league more about profit and entertainment than sport.
  24. Given the cap situation, it was not a bad gamble. We were counting on some of them to compliment Shakir and Coleman. It was just terrible luck that not one person out of the group stepped up as options. Samuel and MVS were busts. Hollins is the best of the bunch, which is sad because he is still playing like a 5th WR. Shavers, Shorter and the UDFA's didn't turn out to be hidden gems, Hamler, and Cephus showed why they were not on rosters at the end of last year and Claypool was actually showing a little promise, but got hurt.
