Bridgewater suspended from HS coaching

Then what's the real difference? What you say makes sense, but why go through that hoop if the end result is the same? What's the difference? -
Bridgewater suspended from HS coaching
TBBills Fan replied to TBBills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah I get rules. But at the end of the day it's about the kids, from a coaches perspective it should be about their kids and the other kids they see. It's just a game. What percent of these kids make div 1? How many make the NFL? A very small percentage. Don't take away a kids experience because you can't do the same. Instead the coaches should find their own way to Inspire and lead The kids lose. That leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Don't take an experience that will last a lifetime away. If the rules need changing so be it. He was asking for donations this year, other coaches could ask the same and use that money on nutrition etc... -

Don't ever apologize for a Pun I get what you are saying, but Uber rides, food, physical therapists as rent really a competitive advantage. Not compared to his knowledge for the game when it comes to practice, play on etc.. He can't help every school, but if he can help one, I say do it. Kids need all the support they can get in 2025. Some coaches are better than others, but there's lessons in that for those kids as well -

Exactly. Seems that way. It's a shame, as I'm sure the kids lose, which is sad since people involved in education are the ones crying foul most likely -
https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/teddy-bridgewater-has-been-suspended-from-his-high-school-coaching-position Edit-here is so e basic info on the a school Bridgewater works at https://www.usnews.com/education/best-high-schools/florida/districts/miami-dade-county-public-schools/miami-northwestern-senior-high-school-4846 Maybe I am not seeing the big picture, but what is the problem with him spending money on his team in HS? He is coaching at a school where its traditionally low income. He is probably making a real difference there. Let him do his thing

Most psychopaths tend to think they are smarter than everyone. Joe is not leaking self confidence and that shows for sure Where Josh, knows he's smart but is the kind of dude that doesn't think of himself as better than anyone else. We got the right Josh. He would never do it tho, he values privacy Yes it would! -

Yeah I know, but if we are blowing out a good team... Here's what I think. I think the Bills absolutely knew they were limited on what they could do on D, and while it didn't cost them against Detroit, it came close. Then when it mattered our D couldn't stop anyone. We went heavy man against a just OK chiefs offense and got shredded. That change up occurs because McD knows damn well what other teams know and has a better grip on what their strengths and weakness are than we do. I think this heavy D Investment is a result of moments like the end of the Detroit game, the chiefs game, the rams game.. We are counting on the O to run it back, a good bet and now we have enough new pieces that there is hope we can see a truly domino D this year I'm in the camp that OBD does evolve and try new things, and I think that 30 second part of Netflix QB illustrated what was known and why we did what we did this off-season Watching him eat his sandwich as the Broncos spanked the Chiefs back ups calmly and saying, there nothing I can do about it showing no emotion whatsoever backs this statement up. As @Alphadawg7 said, American Psycho esque. He is Joe Cool for sure. ***** 99% of this board gets more emotional about the Bills than burrow does about the bengals -

No problem!! Episode 5, 20 min in I feel like cousins is going through life playing the character he is supposed to be as a Christian, but not who he really is or wants to be. I could of course be wrong, certainly won't be the first time, but I get that vibe. Look at how easy it is for him to "go ghetto" and be who the people want him to be. Sadly, I think he has been doing it his whole life. Watching the episode where his guy friends came, that was the closest he seemed to being happy. -

I'm still mad at the bills about the Rams game Don't get me wrong, I am a huge fan of McBeane and company. Because I've heard many opinions on our style of D when we are winning, that particular line from them really peaked my interest. You would think you don't play the style of D the other team hopes you play. Josh keeping the cape on and shredding that banged up D til the end really saved us that week Ideally I'd like Josh to take the cape off third quarter and ride the bench while the D puts their foot on our opponents throat -
Can you elaborate? I'm not sure if this no is no or it's a maybe

Yes, Detroit had walk ons at LB, Hutchinson out for year etc we were a bit banged up as well. We had Douglas, hamlin, rapp, Jefferson and toolhill out on D My comment about the goff/Johnson comment was more about our philosophy during games, how other teams take advantage of it etc If we were healthy we still go into a shell/prevent style and work the clock on O and D game script ahead So this is just an example, and it's interesting to me hearing what the opponent was hoping we would do to give them a shot at coming back -

I'll trade nudes for access to my account. You get one free buddy with a different IP For me, it was great tv. Burrow is a weird, chill dude. Seeing how he dealt with losing last year while lighting it up, he earned respect points Cousins, like the first season reminds me of a guy that says and does all he is supposed to, but has a deep secret no one knows about Goff, is such a likeable dude. Hearing his story from him, even his girl and their relationship.. Goff is someone I'd have a beer with and is easy to root for. -
Were there ever years you were disinterested in the Bills?
TBBills Fan replied to Another Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
For me it was that time as well. (2001-2003( I was 22, living in Vegas, the team wasn't great, games were on early, and I had a lot of distractions. Now I was still there and a fan, but where I was at in life, they didn't get the time and attention I gave before and after the -

Me too! Talent leveled up on paper, new coaches with specific skills. I also think they play it a bit different this year. I think games like Detroit, can give us Insight into why our off season was as it was as well as what we may see here in 2025 A dominant defense and offense is possible. I think anything less than a Superbowl, the team will consider it a failure, as will I. -

Talent and let's not forget the new coaching we brought in. To my amateur eye, it looks like McBeane identified they want more talent on D, more production from the D line, they may want to play more man-doed this mean more aggression, and brought in outside eyes with experience in these areas. I think it's an area they wanted to improve and the moves they made are logical to achieve that improvement -

I'll.have to re watch the game, because I just looked up the box score and they put up 28 in the second half. 7 in the third and 21 in the 4th Thanks I edited the halftime score in my OP. The audio between Goff and Johnson may have been at that point in the third (score 35-14) then. Cause they showed the score right after that conversation if memory serves. I agree, they were the best team in the league at that point. We did win, and the results do say we played it right. Maybe it's a case of frustration, or arm chair coaching on my part. I get the idea, make them burn clock, hope our offense does the same and play it safe. If we look at the ravens game in the playoffs, that one got a lot closer than it should have as well. Maybe there is a happy medium here as the shell coverage has its place, but maybe a little more aggression could help us avoid any problematic comebacks. I think it's worth a discussion. Especially in the dog days of July
