  1. Right now Romo pretty much knows what plays are called, he hears the QB's audible's, the center's calls etc, and tells the fans what play is coming. That won't last forever, the farther he gets away from the game, the less he'll be able to do that as offensive systems change. I've seen bits and pieces of what he does in comparison to Gruden, and Gruden does not go into depth of detail like Romo currently does.
  2. I supported him when he first got the job, but after almost 3 seasons it is very clear he is not the long term solution.
  3. Only thing about Romo is he doesn't have a good voice for doing that kind of work.
  4. Without gamesmanship apparently. But we do live in the "reality" TV generation.
  5. Really? I think he sucks. He looks red faced drunk all the time, and says stupid ****, **** that anyone watching can see with their own eyes...
  6. But Bills fans will just keep drinking the Kool Aid and shouting "bring on the Pats!"... Ok, well they are coming...
  7. The NFL brought them back to help with the slumping ratings, but the ridiculousness of the celebrations is turning off as many people as the anthem protests... They know they have a league on the decline, next we'll see jumping shark halftime shows.
  8. Since he just got done playing he is able to pretty much tell the audience what is coming on offense, this will only last a few years. Once offenses change again, he'll be just like every other ex-player color analyst, pretty much useless yesmen.
  9. Bring on the pats really? The Bills beat a team in a dreadful downward spiral and you're guaranteeing a win against the Pats? What?
  10. Or did the Bills just catch the Chiefs right before they switch to their rookie QB? This win was a good illustration of the only type of win Taylor can produce. The defense HAS to show up, and he has to be playing either a bad QB, or a QB that is having a bad day or is in a slump. Either way, he can only consistently win games where he doesn't have to go off and produce much of anything other than a handful of plays to RB's & TE's with a few token throws to wideouts and a couple dozen rushing yards. The number of sub 200 yard passing games that he has leading to wins must be some type of NFL record It's a good bet this is not the type of situation he will find himself in next week unless the defense knocks Brady out early and Taylor gets to face off against Hoyer.
  11. Last week was about McBeane being done with Taylor. Sorry you're too blind to see that. They want intel, intel on Peterman before the draft. The whole "win now" thing is for the benefit of the fans, not the team. Wise up!
  12. If Shady is, it's to a much lesser degree.
  13. McDermott is done with Taylor. Whine about it all you want really. He showed his cards. I'm sorry you were drinking so much Kool Aid and feel burned, but you should have known better IMO...
  14. The bottom line here is Tryod could have nipped this in the bud with excellent play, problem is he's too mentally slow to play QB, it's that simple. He just can't process the game fast enough, sorry. The vast majority of the QB's that try to play the position in the NFL fail in the same way, so he's not alone.
  15. Sure it does, it means Tryod isn't good enough either way. I believe we all know that already, McBeane sure as hell knows it, its just the whinnage of the media and NFL players on twitter makes it much harder these days for a coach to make and stick with decisions. Especially when you have black players insinuating that it was a racially motivated decision... To me it was simply the Bills trying moving on from Tryod. If Peterman had only thrown two picks, he'd be starting today.
  16. Peterman will likely be starting in 2 weeks... That's really all the explaining needed.
  17. Pegula is a crap owner, that's the problem...
  18. Why can't more ppl see this? Didn't some of us warn about this? Maybe if you all stopped telling us to go root for the Patriots you could learn something once in a while and not be so surprised...
  19. If Pegula waits long enough he won't have to build one of these ridiculous stadiums, the league will have peaked, and on the way down they won't be requiring such nonsense, they'll just be trying to hold on to the fans they have. Then places like New Era field will do just fine.
  20. But he's not the best at his position in the NFL.
  21. This is a make or break game for Tyrod's career. Either he has a chip on his shoulder, fire in his belly, or his nuts crawl up into his abdomen... This is the last chance I am willing to give him.
  22. Well, after the next 2 losses (next 2 games), Peterman will be back in.
  23. I was wrong about picking 6-10 for my preseason picks when I knew it was 5-11. Little too much kool aid there, I admit it.
