  1. Or he just did what a lot of ppl do and tuned out the reporter when he heard tear and assumed the guy was saying ligament.
  2. Very nice, very well said. Someone who understands, wow.
  3. Then you simply don't understand and are very reactionary/emotional.
  4. Actually I don't specifically, I have a thing with the current climate we find ourselves in. Well, you are entitled to your opinion, even if it is wrong. Race baiting is easy, so easy the media does it for clicks. This is the whole point of the discussion. It's a similar discussion to the anthem protests, but it seems a lot of ppl can't discuss it without getting upset.
  5. But it became a news story right? With many a commentator picking up on it. And, why did Sherman care at all that Tyrod was benched? Would he have been tweeting about it if Tyrod was white and Peterman were black? Or would he be ok with the QB change in that situation? And what would be his reasoning? This is what I'm pondering. And in this day and age, I feel this is a legitimate line of questioning.
  6. Why wouldn't Denver just pick a QB?
  7. No, the actual text in brackets was the sarcasm, but I guess it was too subtle. I don't normally watch Gronk's pressers either, but it became news, because he made it look/sound like him or someone else is going to get into trouble for that group celebration.
  8. After some pondering, I've come to the conclusion the odd's are against that.
  9. I never thought Tyrod getting benched would bring racism stories, but gee, look what happened. Times are a changing.
  10. lol, it was sarcasm, gosh...
  11. Again, not what I'm getting at. [Picard facepalm here]
  12. Steelers got Roethlisberger, next available QB was Losman, just ponder that for a bit...
  13. They are tough to read... Text should be white.
  14. Did you see Gronk's presser?
  15. So would you take a one and done vs. a franchsie QB from next years draft?
  16. No, what I'm talking about is media reaction if McDermott were to impose a no group celebrations rule. See, I guess I would expect there to be rumblings. I would almost expect twitter comments from the likes of Richard Sherman insinuating it was a way to keep black players from expressing themselves, then the media cycle on the story begins etc.
  17. And it looks like he's going to get into trouble for it... I agree, it would be a stretch, but I would not put it past the sports media, and sure not past social media.
  18. I agree with you, it should NOT be considered racism, fully agree. What I am speculating is, it would not be seen that way by everyone, and McDermott would get a beat down for it, while Belichick gets away with it due to winning.
  19. Except it's not working for Dak this season... I was fine with Taylor getting 3 years, he's gotten close enough to that for me... The conundrum atm is, do we want a chance to back into the playoff's with Taylor as QB, or do we want to see what Peterman is before the draft? I think the draft is way more important than ending the drought. I sure as hell don't want them passing on a QB in the draft because they think they have something in Peterman that they don't.
  20. It's Patriots week, is that what's stressing you out? I get it...
  21. It's possible the Bills are a "back their way into the playoff's" team. I guess that works for ending the drought, but isn't much good for anything else...
  22. I'm not "riled up" at all. Just wondering if others think Belichick is getting away with something here that most, if not all other coaches could not get away with due to player and NFL national media scrutiny. Welp, you seem to be more "riled up" that I am...
  23. Well you are simply wrong... I feel it is a legitimate question. I'm not race baiting one bit, what I am doing is questioning the climate in the NFL these days, and what double standards exist.
