Maybe the better question is who are you referring to when you're referring to "this team?" You including the 5-5 Buffalo Bills under Dorsey with the 1-1 Buffalo Bills under Joe Brady? I just think this is a different team over the last 2 games. The difference between the heartbreaker in Philly vs. the heartbreakers against the Jets, Pats and Broncos is that even though all 4 of those games were last second losses we easily could have won, Buffalo really played like the better team (and against one of the 2 or 3 best teams in the NFL) on the road on Sunday and just seemed to have absolutely everything go the wrong way for them to lose. In the first 10 games of the season, Buffalo often didn't feel like the better team... they were just lucky (or unlucky) enough to be able to have the lead at the ends of those games only to see them taken away. If the offense of the last 2 weeks is playing, we can absolutely go 5-0. I think the floor is 3-2, which would suck because it would almost certainly put us just outside looking in. But I don't think this team has a losing record in the last 5 games.

Diggs Snap Count vs Eagles

Joe Marino in his All-22 gives snap counts on Locked on Bills. Diggs missed less than 10 snaps. -

First order of business... Slash Shawn Hochuli's tires at his house so he can't get to the game. -
Happy Birthday!!! I hope we can get you a new BFF to play with you on the opposite side of the field as WR2 (for now) in Marvin Harrison Jr. 🙏

Did our loss to Philly feel the same to you as our losses the rest of the season as far as our offense goes? I'll put this another way... if Buffalo started the season with the win against the Jets and that loss against Philly--same results and exact same games--would you feel like the team couldn't string together a series of wins?

We're Going To The Playoffs. (edit: Updated - Super Bowl)
transplantbillsfan replied to Doc Brown's topic in The Stadium Wall
He made basically 1 big mistake in the span of 2 games and 146 plays with that interception he threw to Bradbury. That's it. Other than that play, he was spectacular. Are you trolling us? -

Zero percent? Did you watch Josh Allen play these last 2 weeks? Anything is possible when he's playing like that. -
Since 2022 the Bills have won 9 one score games and lost 9 one score games. I know the narrative is that the Bills never win one score games, but it's not true. I think this bye week serves as a good reset for this team and hopefully Allen comes out firing in the last 5 games. Anything is still possible.

Chance of Playoffs now, according to NYT simulator
transplantbillsfan replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall
If this is how you feel you have a short memory and don't understand how the NFL playoffs work. If you get in and you have an Elite QB, you have a chance to run the table and win the Super Bowl. Just remember the 2021 season. We played horribly for much of that season. Even the end of the year when we won 4 straight were ugly wins. Then we played the Patriots and KC in the playoffs and looked like the best team in the NFL, minus a collapse with 13 seconds. Just get in. Just ask the 2010 Green Bay Packers (10-6 Wildcard Super Bowl Winner), 2011 New York Giants (9-7 Wildcard Super Bowl Winner), 2012 Baltimore Ravens (10-6 Wildcard Super Bowl Winner), and 2020 Tampa Bay Buccaneers (11-5 Wildcard Super Bowl Winner). Just get in. We have Josh Allen. Now it looks like we have an OC who knows what he's doing. We have a chance. -

Here are the remaining schedules of all remaining teams vying for the Wildcard Browns (7-4): Week 13: at Rams (5-6) Week 14: vs. Jaguars (8-3) Week 15: vs. Bears (3-8) Week 16: at Texans (6-5) Week 17: vs. Jets (4-7) Week 18: at Bengals (5-6) Steelers (7-4): Week 13: vs. Cardinals (2-10) Week 14: vs. Patriots (2-9) Week 15: at Colts (6-5) Week 16: vs. Bengals (5-6) Week 17: at Seahawks (6-5) Week 18: at Ravens (9-3) Colts (6-5): Week 13: at Titans (4-7) Week 14: at Bengals (5-6) Week 15: vs. Steelers (7-4) Week 16: at Falcons (5-6) Week 17: vs. Raiders (5-7) Week 18: vs. Texans (6-5) Texans (6-5): Week 13: vs. Broncos (6-5) Week 14: at Jets (4-7) Week 15: at Titans (4-7) Week 16: vs. Browns (7-4) Week 17: vs. Titans (4-7) Week 18: at Colts (6-5) Broncos (6-5): Week 13: at Texans (6-5) Week 14: at Chargers (4-7) Week 15: at Lions (8-3) Week 16: vs. Patriots (2-9) Week 17: vs. Chargers (4-7) Week 18: at Raiders (5-7) Bills (6-6): Week 13: Bye Week 14: at Chiefs (8-3) Week 15: vs. Cowboys (8-3) Week 16: at Chargers (4-7) Week 17: vs. Patriots (2-9) Week 18: at Dolphins (8-3) I don't understand why anyone would write in wins for any team in the NFL this year. Buffalo's bye week is a blessing. -

Chance of Playoffs now, according to NYT simulator
transplantbillsfan replied to Ray Stonada's topic in The Stadium Wall
Just did a bunch of playoff simulators. Obviously if we win out, we're in. It'd be very, very hard for us not to get in winning out. If Buffalo loses 1, I was actually surprised how many scenarios (plausible ones) they get in. I just hope that's the offense we see the rest of the season. If that's the offense (and more importantly, the Josh Allen) we see for the remainder of the season, anything is possible. -

I think this very well could be the case. There are no moral victories in the NFL, but this is probably the "best loss" Buffalo has had since the 13 seconds game. Josh Allen looks like the Josh Allen of old over the last 2 weeks. Maybe Joe Brady with an extra week can throw in a few wrinkles that make the offense even better. Maybe McDermott self-evaluates (he actually said he'd do this in his post game PC) and turns over the defensive play calling duties to Babbich or someone else so he can focus more on managing the game... while getting some help with that. That loss sucked. But if there was one game to lose in our last 6 it was yesterday's game. It just hurt more because Buffalo was clearly the better team yesterday. -
From a former McDermott Supporter: It is OVAH
transplantbillsfan replied to Success's topic in The Stadium Wall
If Allen and the offense can keep playing like this... yes, I do. Yes, I think the Bills can go 5-0 down the stretch if Allen and the offense keep their level of play up. I actually think they could lose 1 and still get in, though. I also think people are really overvaluing the Dolphins, who I could easily see losing to anyone remaining on their schedule, including the Commanders next Sunday. Do you guys think any of our remaining games will be tougher than the one today? -

Not yet. If we miss the playoffs it might be, though. Objectively, if we had to choose 1 of our 6 remaining games to lose, it was this one. Non conference road game against maybe the best team in the NFL and you probably should have won. We have a bye week... let's see what they do after that. I know no one wants any optimistic viewpoint right now, but that was the toughest game left on our schedule. Maybe it acts like the Tampa loss in 2021. Maybe not. Regardless, the result of this game was the least important result of all our remaining games. -
This is true. Allen and Hurts are statistically the same QB... actually Allen is a little better. The difference is that Hurts is on a team that's able to eek out close wins, often despite his mistakes. Meanwhile, Buffalo can rarely overcome any mistakes at all by Allen... or anyone else for that matter. It just sucks. You're a moron. Go away.

McDermott is wrong for the right reasons
transplantbillsfan replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
The OP decided today was a really good day to show his true colors. He's either a troll or a moron and I can't figure out which. Anyone legitimately putting any significant chunk of blame of this loss on Allen is simply either stupid or a troll. I'm not even violating CoC here because this is just true. @FireChans should really be apologizing to all of us for either being blatantly wrong or blatantly trying to troll all of us. -
McDermott is wrong for the right reasons
transplantbillsfan replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
You're honestly such a freaking troll. Watch more football. Josh Allen was the reason the Bills weren't merely in that game but should have won it. Did Josh drop a perfect pass that would have been a TD? No, that was Cook. Did Josh miss 2 FGs? No, that was Bass. Did Josh run the wrong route on what would have been the GW TD? No, that was Davis. Josh was Hercules today and his team let him down. That includes his HC, because I agree with you on the McDermott stuff. But give me a ***** break. Josh was a Hero today. Go root for another team if you think that level of QB play isn't enough. -
