  1. Anderson has been on the team barely 3 weeks. If you watched his last 2 games and aren't just looking at stats, you can tell Anderson is already better than Peterman in those 3 weeks and he could still improve as he gets more comfortable. This isn't saying Anderson is great. But I'd bet you we'd go 4-4 in the 2nd half of the season if Anderson started the rest of the way. Let's all remember, Buffalo had the most difficult schedule in the NFL for the first 8 games and our upcoming 8 games poses the easiest schedule. We've managed 2 wins... which is almost impressive given our offensive ineptitude. If Anderson remained the starter, we'd end up in that 6-10 / 7-9 purgatory we Bills fans have grown accustomed to. Peterman is such a friggin dumpster fire he will be significantly more likely to lead us to the top of the draft than Anderson.
  2. Annnnnnnd Shefty reporting Anderson concussed and Peterman expected to start
  3. I'm sure a rift is already in there for a now 2-6 team with an Elite Defense.
  4. I disagree. I like all our young players, for the most part--Peterman notwithstanding--but Beane needs more time.
  5. Kewel... isn't this the same guy who trained with Jordan Palmer over the offseason with Darnold and Allen??? Bring him in!!!
  6. Anderson is bad. Peterman is the worst starting QB in NFL history. Start Peterman.
  7. Agreed completely on Allen, but it sounds like the injury is worse than initially thought. Put Allen in if he doesn't risk making his injury worse. Otherwise, Pick-Six-Peterman!!!
  8. ... and yet... if you're legitimately paying attention... he's still better than Peterman
  9. True, but if there's risk of making his current injury worse because it's not fully healed--which is how it currently sounds--he shouldn't. We've already won 2 games and if you're watching the games, Anderson will figure things out and winning at least a few more unless McDermott blatantly tanks. Pay attention!!!
  10. Exactly why Peterman should start for a now 2-6 football team that would now, at worst, need to go 7-1 in order to make the playoffs.
  11. If you're paying attention to the games themselves and aren't just looking at the stats, you'd know this isn't true. Anderson is figuring this out. We're going to win at least 4 more games if Anderson is our starter.
  12. Yep. And he'd win us some games. Peterman, on the other hand, is an absolute dumpster fire and will guarantee us tons of losses for a better pick.
  13. My sister, niece, and brother-in-law are there. Believe me, I take no pride in saying this, but prospects are dim, and now dimmer with Anderson apparently injured.
  14. No need QB. Trade down for more picks for more weapons.
  15. If Allen is out til after the bye and perhaps the whole season and we're really looking to the future... start Peterman. Anderson might not have the stats, but if you're watching him, we will absolutely win 6 or 7 games this season even after this Patriots loss. Our defense is soooooo damn good and Anderson looks like he's starting to get a little more comfortable... yes, I know what his stats are. So, let's make everyone happy... the Peterman guys... the tank guys.... well... I guess not the "win now" guys-- I was one of those. But... can't please everyone. Start Peterman!!!
  16. Not obtuse in any way. I just made that very clear. You disagree with the premise of the post. I just made sure it was clear. You can go back to your regularly scheduled personal insults now. I'm going to watch football. Go Bills!
  17. I see I apparently have to spell this out because I'm accused of being obtuse when I thought it was obvious. You're calling me naive claiming the Russians and foreign entities have been trying to influence our elections forever. The operative word you use here is "try." I didn't use that word. Thus my confusion over whether you were actually addressing me since you were responding to something I didn't say. I wasn't trying to be tricky... seemed pretty obvious the difference in meaning.
  18. I still don't understand. You're addressing me. But you aren't responding to what I said. I'd say you're using a simple twist of rhetoric politicians often use, but I was told this is a place of intelligent discourse and I could learn a lot if I just stuck around. I wouldn't think posters in a place so described would so subtly twist words to try to make another poster look foolish.
  19. I'm sorry... are you responding to what I said? It doesn't seem like it, despite your choice of quoting me. Did you mean to quote someone else?

  21. That does it. My only current jersey is Fred Jackson. Gotta get a Meatball jersey.
  22. Bickering... Conspiracy theories... call it whatever you want. The moment it happened, the false flag theory blew up; in public via social media and almost immediately on this message board. And much of that was coming even here via Twitter. Twitter is great for information. It's also great for misinformation. Here's an excerpt from the AP that seems to fit what I've seen here in this thread: Sayoc’s social media profiles portray a deeply disaffected conservative who trafficked in online conspiracy theories, parody accounts and name-calling. He called a Florida school shooting survivor a “fake phony,” peddled theories about George Soros, the billionaire political donor targeted this week by a package bomb No one here is sending bombs (I assume), but it seems clear that the "value" of this message board might be in much of the really interesting "inside info," but the problem is it's counterbalanced by those who post the nutty conspiracy theories... like the false flag thing with this incident, which it seems clear people were pushing in here ("those stickers are way too new! Must have been planted!!") even after most of the facts came out. Sure, there's value here for those who have the time, not just to post but to cross reference and verify ideas and info as it's posted, but considering some of the utter crap that's out there in Social Media, that's a lot of time. I just have higher priorities. Forgive me.
