  1. No. Daboll sucks as a game day play caller. His offensive system might be fantastic, but Daboll isn't good on Sundays. The coaches need to have an epiphany this week of we want to continue winning and make the playoffs at the end of the year. Right now, game day coaching and play calling is our biggest problem.
  2. Yes. Absolutely. Daboll is infuriating. When the Bills NEED to move down the field, Allen has been able to do it. End of the half down by 2 he got the team into very easy FG range. Hauschka missed. End of the game with less than 2 minutes at their own 25 and 1 timeout Allen moves the team into FG range for the tie. But it's long FG range and stupid coaching takes over. First with the huddling up to waste time. Then icing our own kicker. Coaching is this team's problem. Ironically it's also the reason according to the national media we have the record we do. Personally, I think out coaches just might be great in terms of preparation and terrible on Sundays. Daboll for sure and starting to feel that way about McDermott as well.
  3. First time all season Allen's dropped below 60% Completion Percentage. Allen is much improved as a passer this year, but for him to last in this league he needs to hit some of those wide open WRs running deep. And he needs to stop fumbling the damn ball! I don't like Daboll. Actually, I don't particularly care for Frazier or McDermott right now either. 3rd or 4th straight week we got run all over. Time to start trusting your Franchise QB. Put him in the shotgun and just let him run his plays from beginning of the game to the end, not just when the team "needs" to move it. Notice that when the Bills need to get yardage and get them in scoring position, he does. Really tells me we have a play calling issue for the rest of the game.
  4. This game is going to be feast or famine. Kareem Hunt's first game back along with Chubb. If Buffalo has fixed their run D, they need to show that tomorrow. If they haven't, we might be screwed. The Browns have a pretty good D. Let's hope Daboll calls a good game and Allen doesn't throw it to the other team or put the ball on the ground.
  5. https://theathletic.com/1360812/2019/11/08/bills-notes-stats-and-thoughts-jarvis-landrys-past-ed-olivers-role-and-the-afc-playoff-picture/ Where’s the YAC? The Bills are 28th in the NFL in yards after the catch. Given the added emphasis on the short passing game, the lack of yards after the catch helps explain Josh Allen’s low yardage totals this season. While Allen continues to struggle with the deep ball — he’s now 0-for-13 on passes that travel 30 yards in the air — he’s been efficient in the short passing game for much of the season. What he needs is a receiver who can create after the catch. Other than Isaiah McKenzie, the Bills don’t have that player on the roster. I’m sure Brandon Beane and his staff have been scouring the country in search of that type of receiver in the 2020 draft. The Bills need more players who can create their own big plays on offense.
  6. Ummm... no... you honestly need to reverse that order.
  7. Trump is brilliant with PR, I've always given him that. Own every single one of your indiscretions to the masses, present those indiscretions as perfectly acceptable, and cast doubt. The ignorant, lazy and loyal will believe him or just not care enough to fact check--ignorant and lazy--and it'll cast just enough doubt publicly where the argument won't hurt him long term. I know you're loyal. You're spewing his words back to me as though they carry equal weight to the sourced Washington Post. Wake up!!! You're being lied to!!!
  8. And down the rabbit hole you will all continue to fall...
  9. Jesus it's still nuts over here. This is so much bigger than the SUMMARY (not transcript) of that phone call at this point. Here is what I will give all of you: the other day I either read or heard an interview with a rabid Trump supporter and it really stuck with me and really made me think about this place. When asked DIRECTLY if her opinion on the impeachment inquiry had changed when the reporter informed her that Colonel Vindman's testimony--from someone who listened DIRECTLY to the call--revealed that the SUMMARY of that phone call left out key words and phrases like "Burisma" (directly and clearly tying this to Biden and his son, which seemed to somehow be in question), she said "No." When the reporter or interviewer asked why, she said, and I paraphrase because I can't remember where I saw or read it, "Who can I really trust? There are 2 sets of facts. You present your set of facts and I get my own." Folks, there's only one set of facts. Get out of the rabbit hole that is Twitter. At this point you've had testimony from multiple highly respected people--Taylor, Vindman, Volkner-- who corroborate the quid pro quo and idiots like Sondland who lied and have come back to change their testimony. Sadly, we're in a Twitter world, so I guarantee Congressional Republicans stick with Trump til the end no matter what and Senate republicans likely do the same. And they're going to move the goalposts every other day the way they've already been doing. Lucky for our Country the Kentucky Governor and Virginia state legislature results yesterday indicate, we'll be voting Trump out of office in a year even after the Senate fails to fulfil it's constitutionally mandated duty of being truly objective jurors in an impeachment trial.
  10. The Whistleblower is an afterthought at this point. Why even bother talking about it? So much has come to light at this point from other witnesses directly that the Whistleblower complaint is unnecessary in this impeachment inquiry. All it did was get this ball rolling, but at this point, there's no stopping it. This focus on exposing him/her is just a pathetic and desperate effort on the part of the President and his cronies.
  11. So where are you @Deranged Rhino at this point on Biden as the candidate? I mean I know it'll change again and again in the upcoming months, but just gotta have a temperature check https://fivethirtyeight.com/features/national-polls-and-state-polls-show-pretty-much-the-same-thing/ National Polls And State Polls Show Pretty Much The Same Thing Don’t ignore South Carolina and Nevada. A common refrain in coverage of the Democratic primary campaign is that the race looks much different in the early states than it does nationally, with a wider playing field, greater strength for upstart candidates such as Pete Buttigieg, and signs of weakness for the leader in national polls, Joe Biden. The refrain is true if you look only at Iowa or only at New Hampshire, but it’s mostly not true overall. Taken collectively, polls in the four early states — Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina — tell almost the same story as national polls: Biden leads, Elizabeth Warren is in second, Bernie Sanders is in third, and Buttigieg is still a fairly distant fourth. ... Put differently, there isn’t much evidence that Biden does worse with voters who see him up close and personal, as often seems to be the implication of coverage that focuses heavily on Iowa and New Hampshire. Instead, he does worse with liberal, college-educated whites, who are plentiful in these states. Intentionally or not, the intense media focus on Iowa and New Hampshire serves to give more influence to liberal, college-educated whites at the expense of African-Americans, Hispanics, moderate Democrats and working-class Democrats, groups that are also key parts of the Democratic coalition.
  12. I disagree. A lot of the "absolute muggings" I could see officials arguing defenders are with the WR and the fact that they at least have the chance to make a play on the ball makes it questionable if they are. On Sunday that defender was on the ground, had ABSOLUTELY no shot at the ball, and just held Brown's legs so he couldn't go up and get it. Blatant and there was no singular excuse for that DB. By the way, all of this is beside the point unless you honestly believe McDermott is just being shrewd in not challenging ANY DPIs the rest of the year because they aren't being overturned. Should've been challenged. Now you're being obstinate.
  13. Exactly. @BringBackOrton just isn't getting it. The interior of the Redskin defense has been stout all year but their edges have been crap, which was why we had so much success with Singletary on Sunday and why it was so stupid to try 3 straight QB dives on the goalline with Gore.
  14. Largely because of the guy throwing to them. The play of the Washington front 7 doesn't rely on someone throwing to them. Their play up the middle of the defense has been very good so far this year. It's why Daboll's initial gameplan with Singletary was fantastic.
  15. https://theathletic.com/1343959/2019/11/01/bills-redskins-preview-which-defenders-buffalo-should-unleash-against-a-beleaguered-offense/ Matt Ioannidis vs. Bills interior The Bills’ defense has a considerable advantage on Sunday, but on the other side, Washington’s defense is quite underrated. Other than their struggles against the pass, Washington’s defensive front possesses a lot of talent and has kept most games close. Out of their entire front seven, five-technique defensive end Matt Ioannidis has looked the strongest. Ioannidis is a gifted one-on-one player at the line of scrimmage. He flashes the ability to get into the backfield after one move or effective hand usage. Against either right guard Jon Feliciano or left guard Quinton Spain, Ioannidis will win some battles and try to force the Bills into negative situations. In both run and pass defense, Ioannidis helps set the table either for pass rusher Ryan Kerrigan or for inside linebacker Jon Bostic. His teammates along the defensive line, in Jonathan Allen and nose tackle Da’Ron Payne, will make it difficult for the Bills to focus their attention on Ioannidis. If the Bills can neutralize his impact throughout the game, they’ll have a far better chance to move the ball consistently. What?! You thought that play was a legit play by the defender? Wow I couldn't disagree more! It was an absolutely blatant DPI. It was one that I think would have been overturned. The defender literally grabs Browns legs as he's jumping for a very catchable football. That play right there would have been a great test to see if the officials are being honest, because there's no way they could have not overturned it.
  16. Exactly. If Allen fumbles on a naked bootleg? When do you ever see a fumble on a naked bootleg? What a weird statement. It's like you're saying Allen should never touch the ball.
  17. If that's the case, I retract my criticism of Daboll. And honestly, I've been having my issues with McDermott lately. Last week he should have taken the Field Goal in relatively easy Hauschka FG territory. This week he should have challenged that John Brown DPI. I think there was another play this week involving a FG that was a questionable decision. 3 of the exact same play on the Goal line after getting stuffed on the first 2 plays. McDermott is a really good coach, but he's definitely still learning on the job.
  18. Yeah. Goalline dives are fine, but not 3 plays in a row when you were completely stuffed the previous 2. Daboll even came back to it at least once later in the game and lost 3 yards. I think there was another time they did it and got stuffed, too. Now, if Daboll came in on that 3rd down with that exact setup to run it and ran a naked QB bootleg or told the TE to slip behind the D, then I'd congratulate him on his playcalling, even if we fail. I NEVER like it when you run the same play 3 straight plays after getting stuffed on the first 2. Maybe that's just me. Frankly, I challenge you to find a moment where a Belicheck coached team did that.
  19. Glad this was the very first post here. OP is obviously clickbait. I don't hate Daboll. His offensive system and philosophy seem fantastic. His in game play-calling is inconsistent and sometimes putrid.
  20. Obviously. 5% of the people voting in this thread are just idiots.
