  1. The wailing and gnashing of teeth, hearing the lamentations of the women is cracking me up. Relax. Do I believe Tyrod is the answer, no, but he was our best option RIGHT NOW . We can cut him after next season and its an 8 mill cap hit. That said, I think if anyone can get Tyrod to advance his play at all its Dennison. Tyrod MUST learn to throw with anticipation, use the middle and get rid of the ball in rhythm and on time. 3-5 step drops, roll out, ball gone in 3 seconds tops. Can he? We will see. Defense: Love the front 4 we are fine there. McDermott said teams are playing Nickle about 60% of the time now with all the passing and he only needs really two good LB's. Let it play out, see what he can do. DB's. We just signed two and drafted a kid last year, plus this draft is so damn DB deep you can get a 2nd round talent in the 4th round. Relax...McDermott has made a probowler out of a low rounder. We will be fine. OL: I still want more work at RT, but we will see. WR: Here is the only area I have a concern. We need a true threat opposite Watkins, but in this offense we need guys who can be smart, really good route runners, do well with RAC and be able to adjust routes based on coverage. WR is deep in the draft, and there are very serviceable Free agents out there. Right now as it stands I trade down in the first no matter what, twice if we can. By doing that we can still get a 1st round talent at DB or a 1st round talent at WR while grabbing more picks. In the first 3 rounds all I address is WR and CB this year. See what we currently have at LB and change it up next year if need be. But folks, come on. I love the McDermott hire, I love his defensive system and by it just not being Rex we will greatly improve. On offense we are putting in a proven, damn good system. Let Coach have a couple years to build HIS Team and lets see how it goes.
  2. Really? Depends on the system. And you cant count Aaron Williams at all, he needs to retire. That said, have we drafted yet? Seems every GM agrees this is the deepest DB draft possibly ever. We can get TWO starters in the first 4 rounds. So lets all just relax and let the offseason play out.
  3. Can we be totally honest here? We could go 0-16 and the fans would still flock to the stadium.
  4. Really good stuff. I say we are going CB at 10 or trade down a few spots, get another pick then take CB. DB is so damn deep this year you can get a 2nd round talent in the 4th possibly. I can see us getting two DB's at least in this draft and let McDermott do what he did in Carolina with them.
  5. Just stop already. Jesus let the staff put in their offense and staff it with their players amd see what happens.
  6. LMAO you pay someone to take the QB off your roster? Pathetic.
  7. One WR and one Starting corner will come from this draft as deep as it is. Ok thats damn funny
  8. Disagree, the 26 would be WITH The 6 mill taken out for draft picks. Still why do we need 26 million? We must be ready to make a move that hasn't been leaked is my thought
  9. He would be wrong. Besides we are signing millionaires to fill out the roster?
  10. Sport trac is getting hammered today. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/
  11. Why are we freeing up all this cap room? That number includes taking off $6,315,953 for our draft pool. Is there someone we are looking at signing or trading for? http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/
  12. Not at all costs. Gilmore is NOT worth what NE is paying him. I aim right at him then watch as he blames everyone else because he can't cover. A will needs to retire period. Woods is an ok #2, again not worth his paycheck. BTW how many playoff games with these guys? Maybe they aren't as good as many fans thought? Seems the front office agrees.
  13. Funny how New England and Green Bay usually don't spend on the first week of FA either. Gilmore is a big leap from what they normally do. We will be fine
  14. Agreed nope. Had we cut Taylor and not brought Kyle back, then yeah we were rebuilding
  15. Bye Felicia. Typical Rams, pay for the top BLOCKING WR, not a top 7 FA CATCHING WR on the FA Market. The suckage in LA continues lol
  16. Lighten up Francis. The Draft is so deep you can almost get 1st round DB talent in the 3rd round. Jesus FA doesn't start until 4 and fans are wrist slitting over a guy who really hasnt played that much due to injury the last 2 years.
  17. I was looking around for a good site to explain this, and I think this one breaks it down well. The one note I would like to point out is, we have our deep / all around guy in Watikins, We will now be looking for great route runners that can get open and rely on RAC. http://www.battleredblog.com/2011/5/13/2166901/houston-texans-west-coast-offense-gary-kubiak-andre-johnson I want to say, IF Tyrod can learn and make some changes to his game, yes he is perfect for this offense. Lets pray in his 3rd year as starter he gets it
  18. What about the part where he still has to take 3,5,7 step drops, read the entire field, go through progressions THEN think about running? Oh and what about Throwing with Anticipation?
