  1. For everyone crying about Brandon Beane lately -- how angry are you that Cook is locked up for $11.5M a year for the next 4 years?
  2. An interesting take, because you are 100% wrong! https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/josh-allen-pumped-bills-took-keon-coleman-qb-texted-wr-before-draft-youre-the-guy-that-i-want/
  3. This is the Buffalo Bills content we all have come here for
  4. Im pretty sure he enjoyed being MVP last year and didn’t care that we were running less Shotgun formation.
  5. How do you know any of this? What you’re describing is Daboll’s offense when he threw a ton of interceptions. How sure are you that he “likes” shotgun and 11 personnel and throwing 30 times per game?
  6. Sorry if this has already been mentioned… I’m not reading 15 pages! Include Keon in the package. Young WR with raw skills from the same draft to appease ownership and fan base of the Jags and include a premium pick. That makes them feel like they’re getting a win.
  7. Seems kiiiind of early to call Cole Bishop a complete failure. He earned a starting role in his rookie year and has flashed in his 2nd year. Did you forget about the Saints interception? These type of overreactions are all too common right now. Chill out everybody. Yes, Taylor Rapp has been a huge disappointment. Did you expect that to happen this year? Because I didn't.

    Keon WTF?

Great post and one caveat I'll add, as I'm not OUT on Coleman either. Through 6 games, Coleman has proven that he can't be relied upon in big situations this year. If the coaching staff keeps drawing up plays to him in big moments, that's on the coaching staff, not Keon. He clearly needs to develop his route tree and isn't ready yet to be featured. Maybe he never will be... but it's certain he isn't ready now.
  9. He also fits the prototype of "100% not going to be available when you need him." GIT ER DONE BEAN.
  10. It's amazing how quickly this fan base turned from "Beane is a wizard" to "Beane needs to be fired." I'm seemingly one of the few people in the middle. The overreaction isn't necessary. Beane has had some good years when we were all singing his praise. Lately, he has been very cold in the draft and gave out some bad contracts. It happens. You don't need to burn the whole village down just yet .... lets revisit this thread in a few weeks.
  11. It's "selfish" for him to be playing for the team that paid him a contract and continues to start him? We have nothing else at #2 CB. What exactly is your plan if he doesn't play? Dorian Strong is injured, Maxwell Hairston is injured, and Ja'Marcus Ingram looked WORSE when he was in.
  12. Respectfully, I think this is an issue with the fan base... as evidenced by everyone hating my thread! Everyone is starting to get impatient with this window and they're clamoring for bad long term decisions to be made. The most common theme I've read in this thread was "Rasul was actually really good for half a season!" or "Cooper helped us a little bit!" A 3rd round pick is an opportunity to potentially get a YOUNG SUPERSTAR on a cheap contract. Deone Walker was a 4th round pick and look at the impact he's already having as a rookie. I want as many of those guys as possible. You're all free to disagree, hate, laugh ... whatever you want. I'm on the side of not panicking.
  13. Guys... I appreciate that we all want the Bills to win a Super Bowl this season, but these were objectively poor long term decisions. Spending a 3rd round pick on a guy who isn't on your team the next year is rarely a good decision. It's a particularly bad one when they don't have a massive impact on the team's ultimate goal, which is to win a Super Bowl. You can all disagree with me if you like, but blowing a 3rd round pick on a guy who will only make you marginally better for one season is a poor strategy and shows no patience in teambuilding.
  14. Everybody wants the roster to improve immediately in areas of need. I get it. However, impatience has killed Brandon Beane and this team in the past. Ask yourself this question... when was the last time an in-season trade worked out for the Bills? I can think of plenty that didn't: Kelvin Benjamin for a 3rd round pick. Amari Cooper for a 3rd and 6th round pick. Rasul Douglas for a 3rd and 5th round pick. So, for all of those who will inevitably say "Brandon Beane caught sleeping again" ... name one time we traded for a guy in-season and the trade worked out for us? Fact is, teams are willing to trade away these players mid-season for a reason. The truly valuable trades typically happen in the off-season, not during.
  15. I have never seen so much attention to and frustration with a PRACTICE SQUAD in my life. In many cases, these are quality veteran backups that are strictly used in case of emergency. They will only play if there is an injury or a series of injuries. What are you expecting from effectively the 4th and 5th string players? Are you really this unhappy with veteran players that at one point had some value as STARTERS in the NFL? Good lord.
