I agree with scott7975 the benefits fo the double dip far out weigh taking the ball first. Been a few discussion in the media about how well the Bills adjust after the opening drive as well. The Cowboys game would be a perfect example the scored on the opening drive and it never phased the Bills. That first drive is very script after that let the in game adjustments take over and I think the Bills have done a great job all year adjusting.

So just watched the Ravens vs the Chargers in the wild card round that pretty much shut down the Ravens. They went with seven DB's playing extra safeties and so far this year they have not faced the same defense again weird on this so called copycat league why no team would try this again. Gap integrity Bosa and Anderson for SF were crashing way to hard on Ingram and giving the outside run up. Been that way most of the year. I would rather the ball go to Ingram vs leave Jackson one on one.

Bills need to follow some of this game planning and that is make sure you make somebody other than Jackson beat you. So be it if they give the the Ball to Ingram make sure you attack Jackson. Mentioned often that is what Houston did they also blitzed him form various positions a lot. Granted its a college line vs the blitz but you can see the accuracy issues in the game and how the blitzer disregarded the runner to force the ball out of Jacksons hand.

I would never take the ball first if given the opportunity. Double dipping just has way too many benefits. Losing by 17 and score at end of half and first possession in third and that lead is slashed. leading Bir tied ... score at the end of the half and come out and score you can potentially bury a team. gettung the ball first does nothing for you in regards to what the double dip can do. never take the ball firat

I like that Bills secondary is more zone as well for this game. Definitely do not want to run man vs the Ravens offense. Need to be in zone so you can react to the breakdown when it happens(oh it will a few times in the game) and that is when Jackson get's some good yardage. Looked to me as well the 49ers also were very well disciplined in the pass rush and not getting too far up field on the edges. Some of those inaccurate balls were present in that game not sure if it was due to the weather or not but some of the misses were bad. The Bills Defense can do this the way Edmunds helps out in the middle and Milano on the RB TE releases on the outside.

DE's going against the Ravens I just do not understand how they attack the RB when the responsibility of the DE is the edge and the QB. Countless times I saw Bosa and Armstead crash so hard on Ingram mind boggling when week after week he pulls the ball out and takes off on the edge. Gap responsibility and as I tell my players I coach quit getting sucked inside. Mind blowing in the NFL these fundamentals still are an issue. I get they are all playmakers and playing on Sunday, but this is why I like Buffalos chances since they have a real good team concept and individuals understanding their responsibilities, it really is 11 pieces working together and when one part suddenly tries to do another parts job too holes develop. Just crazy to see sooo many DE's not understand there first priortiy
