It's not the scenario we wanted but if he can play 3 or 4 games before the playoffs It's better than nothing. I'm more concerned about Tre's psyche' about planting on that knee.
Sean McDermott checks every single box you'd want from a HC except 2.....
》Poor game management decisions
》Obsessed with D players over Offensive players.
I could see the Bills sticking it out with Hodgins an extra year but there's nothing about Stevenson that screams roster spot. He looked scared and couldn't even hold on to the ball last year.
Too bad he didn't at least peek at Morris. That would've been a 1st down inside the 5. Josh has got to spread it around more. Stop focusing on Diggs/ Davis only.
Every single player acquired at the trade deadline had an immediate impact on their new team except Hines. If we’re going to dick around and not use these guys why the F did we waste the picks?
The only reason we had a small uptick in running efficiency late last year was Daboll pulling his guards on outside runs. We're rarely doing that with Dorsey. The bottom line is McD has known for over 3 years our OL is deficient. Yet he continues to burn high draft picks on defense.
Agree, I would rather deal with a few extra Browns fans in a dry, windless stadium....then shuttle players to an empty, snow bound windy mess. A scene out of The Shining....the decision is taking way too long?
Exacty, as others have said he's more aggressive now because of Josh. But what about his expertise? Where's the clutch 4th down defense? Where was it up 16-0 in Houston. Where was it in the 20' AFCCG? How about that aggressiveness with 13 seconds left. I have no issues being aggressive 70% of the time with JA17. But when do we get to see that aggressive on the defensive side of the ball?
Yes he's pressing and it's obvious to anyone. That's what happens when he's expected to be 92% of the offense. Run more. Checkdown more. And eventually your deeper throws to Diggs & Gabe will open up and return.
You can't be a defensive guru and have your defense fail every playoffs. I agree Josh thrived his last 2 years with Daboll. And he's struggling with Dorsey. Patrick has Andy and it reflects in his play and stability. Josh is now kinda alone. The offensive concepts aren't working the same. JA needs help & support.
